... lost 3-0 :'( My team didn't do a fucking thing!

I am so screwed for the entire season.

Quite a weird match, I certainly wasn't expecting that result. I thought it would be a really close game.

Bloody hell, Haden's new junior player is absolutely sick. Level 6 19 year old? Madness!

Why can't I get one of them?

Check out his special features to, worth 7 mil!

I am doing a Wenger and not buying players but just using youth team but it seems I am losing out now I am deffo off the pace of the big 3 teams I reckon.

Still I like my team it looks tidy apart from the goalies which are a mess.

As for my rivals me and 64s used to have a great rivarly he was deffo my boogie team in many ways he reminds me of my own team, eg balanced, hope he will have a better season this time though not better than me!

Moria and J7 are games I always want to win as those two guys are disgusting moral degenerates. Dyson and the Villan strike me as two psychos of the ultra high scoring vain who I usually have good fun with Press Release banter wise.

To get back to teh question though I would have to say now Rez is my rival just because I really want to beat him! After those godamn draws last season I am determined to take him down haha.

Oh quick question as the season is shorter this time do exp points accumulate quicker in indivdual games?

Also just did the defintion of an epic fail. I trained a player I am selling.

You guys sell off your class youngsters for teh monies.

I don't. I try to nurture them and make them good. So far, I have 1 in each position who I've had from youth and they've become decent regulars in my team.

I think it's my forte. Even back when I used to play Pro Evo 4 & 5 I used to be able to train youngsters and turn them into world-class stars of teh future.

Some of my youth are now amongst the highest skilled players in N-E Aficionados league, but you have to strike a balance.

7 of my players are from the youth system, another 4 were bought with skill 4. Just 3 high profile buys in my team. Lain, Franco and Juli (my new 12 rated player that's gonna score freekicks galore).

I think it makes sense to develop several players of a similar age then sell all but one off to buy back just one really good player.

Buy four 18 4s for under 1mill total

all become 20 6s

keep 1 and sell other 3 for 3-4mill each

8 mill in your hand

You see my midfield would you recommend I sell one of those 6 star 20-21 year olds and save up for a uber player?

So far I have adopted a pure training policy but your team is now frankly leagues ahead of mine I feel I am becoming uncompetitive.

I dislike this trading aspect though its not something I enjoy doing I deffo prefer the old training up aspect of the game. Maybe I need to have a big rethink this season.

I've got a lot of old players at the moment (Some of which I've had since the beginning). When they've all retired and I've got some youngsters I'll do some wheeling and dealing and bring in some good players.

I think it's great that I still have 6 of my original squad still remaining (Wright-Phillips, Clarkson, McAnespie, Monington, Bond and Bowey).

But I have enjoyed seeing three youth players that I got over a year ago become such key players in my team. Then I got a 20 year-old talent with a skill of 6 and I just knew I had to keep him when he went up a skill in the following change report.

Oh noes! I've received a dirty trick for the first time ever! It cancelled out the bonus from my sponsor for a press release.

Edit: Ha! It cost them pretty much the same amount.

Well im not planning on selling him anyway, hes a good defender that I need.

You'd be suprised at how much people will pay though for a high skill youngster

He'd go for that amount easily. Plus, he's a free kick specialist, that'd bump the price up nicely.

Got this in my mailbox :(

A supporter of Silverdale FC ran on to the pitch and stole the ball during the last match. The club is fined 441 500 econ for this.

Also how do I accept someone from the Youth team, the button to do so is greyed out ?

if the button's greyed out, it's bacause your squad is already has the maximum 20 players allowed.

You could simply sack some of the older (and, to the youth, comparatively not as good) players, like Manny Naisbitt, maybe Guy Hyde.
