The Invincible Project - Everyone Please Read

UPDATE; I suspect people are seeing this thread and being put off by the fact its a comic. To those people ; Fuck you.

Okay.

Invincible is a comic book. 95% of everyone who reads it, falls in love with it. We want to make sure that as many people as possible have exposure to it.

What we are proposing is for the first two small graphic novels (approximately £7.50 each, total £15) to be GROUP purchased. We all put a bit of money in. The more people who want to do it, the less we pay each etc. One person reads it, and then sends it on to the next person on the list.

A communal renting copy, if you will.

Any interest?

Current list

1) Daniel

2) Ten10?

I recently tried to organise... something similar to this. I think it helps if you point out how cheap it could be :D

For example, the actual cost is V1, Family Matters £6.49, V2, Eight is enough £6.99 on amazon (£13.48) if 10 people show interest, it's £1.35 each. If 20 people show interest it's only 68 pence each.

The hardcover is only £15 on amazon atm but it would cost more to post.

Invincible is very awesome. I urge anyone with the slightest interest in comics to check it out :)

Where would one obtain this £7.50 copy? Everywhere I go online has it for £17.

I understand there is a difference in the flaccidity of the back, yet I am yet to find the floppy version.

The £17 one is the preferred version, its 13 issues, much bigger than the smaller ones (but as Shorty said itll be cheaper this way) I suggest recorded delivery also.

I'd also say even if you're not into comics, don't be put off. Its just another method of telling a story. If you like movies, books or TV shows, then theres no excuse to not want to experience a fantastic story.

did they outlaw libraries while i was in japan?? O_o

A) Very few libraries will hold it' date=' let alone the first two volumes (which is important, and will be obvious when read)

B) If you tell people to go to a library, hardly any people will actually do so.

C) This is easy, the only responsibility you have is to send it onto someone when you're done.[/color']
