S.C.G Posted August 23, 2009 Author Posted August 23, 2009 Yesterday Jim and I made ourselves a yummy dinner and dessert! We made a lovely vegetable spaghetti (garlic, onion, carrots, aubergine, red bellpepper, courgette, skinned tomato pieces and tomato sauce) and a delicious chocolate mousse (topped off with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles). =) That meal / dessert looks absolutely lovely Eenuh I bet it tasted equally as good.
S.C.G Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 Anyone remember Quad Damage? 'twas an egg sammich of epic proportions, well today once again four eggs needed using up and so I present to you... Quad Damage II yes the eggs look a bit more of a mess, but damn... four eggs, four slices of toast - two of which were crusts - a healthy dose of pepper and to top it off a dash of Chilli tomato ketchup, it was nom.
Raining_again Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 That's a pretty substantial meal mister! Maybe you'll get a bit of weight on you yet! =P
Eenuh Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Looks like a great meal SCG. =D Jim and I did some epic cooking tonight! We made tortilla, garlic tomatoes and Spanish potatoes, plus chocolate mousse! It was a bit hectic to make it all at the same time (as it's basically four different dishes/recipes etc), but the result was deliciousssss. Me putting some pepper on the garlic tomatoes (which would go in the oven after this). Jim cooking some onion. The Spanish potatoes (tomatoes, potatoes, bellpepper, onion and herbs stuff). My plate, with the tortilla, garlic tomatoes and Spanish potatoes. Mmmmm.
Ashley Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Looking gooooood Ine I may come join you for dinner tomorrow ^_^ Tonight I made some quesadias (can't be bothered to spell check). Tasty tasty. Although my mother and her partner had lamb shanks and potatos so it didn't really go but quick, easy and tasty
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I look weirdings in that picture. Although, that's a new t-shirt, wohoo. I can confirm that the meal was delicious. If it were a woman, it would be Penelope Cruz. Sooooo tasty, full of goodness and potatoes. Mmm. Carbs.

The fish Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Beer Can Chicken FTW Not sure how it tastes yet, it's the oven cooking I had that at a house party at the end of term last year, done on a barbecue. It was possibly the best chicken I've ever had. I highly recommend it.
arnold Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I had that at a house party at the end of term last year, done on a barbecue. It was possibly the best chicken I've ever had. I highly recommend it. Just finished it not long back, I want more now, was fucking beautiful.
S.C.G Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Tonight I cooked an awesome curry for me and my brothers, was really nice, just the right amount of rice etc too... Thai Red Curry One of the best curries I've had in a while.
S.C.G Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Dude seriously, cut down on the pepper. But... *sigh* ok... >.> *snorts a line of it on the quiet*

S.C.G Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Black pepper isnt like salt, it wont trash your arteries, so he's not doing himself any harm. No need to be nasty, ne Exactly! thank you Raining.
Ashley Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Black pepper isnt like salt, it wont trash your arteries, so he's not doing himself any harm. No need to be nasty, ne Yeah but it tastes like shit :p Plus surely the amount he uses, on every meal, its devoiding any variation within meals. They all look like they taste of pepper :p
S.C.G Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Yeah but it tastes like shit :p Plus surely the amount he uses, on every meal, its devoiding any variation within meals. They all look like they taste of pepper :p Lies... white pepper is pretty rubbish but proper black pepper? it's awesome and on the contrary, it enhances many dishes and doesn't detract from the flavour at all.
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I made my own Spaghetti Bolognese the other day, kinda like the one I made with Ine but with mincemeat included. It was divine. Yesterday, my Mum made her own Onion Bhajis, and they were possibly one of the best that I have ever tasted. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures. There wasn't any time...we just ate them pretty much straightaway, haha. I'm gonna try and take over a bit more of the cooking soon, so there should be a lot more picture taking, wohoo.
Raining_again Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Lies... white pepper is pretty rubbish but proper black pepper? it's awesome and on the contrary, it enhances many dishes and doesn't detract from the flavour at all. Yeah white pepper is pretty rotten... >___________<
Coolness Bears Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Right! Time to ressurect this thread! I'm surprised I haven't posted in this yet as Food is my favourite thing ever! Probably because I haven't cooked many of my own meals OR I didn't have my own digital camera now I do/have both! So with no further a do! LEMON CHICKEN WITH MIXED HERBS! ROAST POTATOES! Moving on to the Uncooked chicken being heated in the oven! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo when they looked like headcrabs from Half Life 2! But I do have when it's all done and served up! Yummy! BONUS PIC: Me from this evening wearing a Christmas Party Hat! Yes we had crackers!!!
Supergrunch Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Steak with chilli and rosemary potato wedgey things: And it is actually all fairly pepper doused, though it's hard to tell.
S.C.G Posted September 16, 2009 Author Posted September 16, 2009 (edited) Awesome steak Grunch kudos on the added chilli and pepper. ------------------------------------------------------------- Tonight I had an awesome meal, it consisted of a wholemeal Pitta Bread folded over with a filling inside that had bacon, sweetcorn, beans all in a tomato-ish sauce served with a side of carrot and lettuce. Pitta Pwnage It tasted awesome. Edited September 16, 2009 by S.C.G
ReZourceman Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Mega Cookie Bake. I found a recipe and doubled the quantities. Around this time ; I started to wonder if I'd done too much.... I'm shaving today BTW. The first flavour, Nutmega Whynz and Mixed Spice and OATS. Next flavour Peanut Butter and Cashew Nuts. Under-cook cookies = makes them chewy win. And the last flavours Plain Choc and Milk Choc. More there. And there.
S.C.G Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 Epic cookie-baking dewd those peanut butter and Cashew nut ones in particular look mega-tasty.

ReZourceman Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Mr Muscle was that in the ingredients? Did you think by adding some you would turn in to a Superhero? We've all been there, its not big and its not clever Lol! Although by that logic I also put a bread bin, a washing machine and knives into the mixture.
