MATtheHAT Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Smash and MkWii are two games that I don't think I will ever stop playing until the new ones come out. At the moment though I am playing Okami, No More Heroes, Guilty Gear, Trauma centre and Zack & Wiki. Not to mention the PS3 (Still not played Motorstorm, Ratchet & Clank and other launch releases.)
killer kirby Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 PS2 Odin Sphere Dragon Quest VIII Tales of the Abyss Persona 3 FES DS Final Fantasy IV Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Rune Factory GCN Paper Mario 2 Baten Kaitos Baten Kaitos Origins PS1 Chrono Cross yah, if anything...I should be thanking Nintendo for not releasing a lot of games for the rest of the year >_>
Mike Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I've been playing the third and fourth Ace Attorney games (on the third case of AJ now), and I'm still playing a lot on Brawl, trying to do Classic and All Star with all the characters (about five left of each now).
Guest Maase Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Exactly, Hellfire. No offence, but its kinda dumb to just wait for good games to come when you don't even have all the good games that are out there for the Wii
Pit-Jr Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I havent picked up a game since MGS4, so mostly DLC: Elefunk Stardust SF Alpha (now loading... ) Bionic Commando Wolf of the Commando (yawn) Joint Strike
darksnowman Posted August 17, 2008 Author Posted August 17, 2008 Every year everyone talks about a drought and I never feel it. That's cool. Brawl, Mario Kart, Wii Fit and Okami (still not finished it! ) Oh - and of course a certain DS game. I haven't clicked that link, but I just know it goes to Cooking Guide, right? Like darksnowman my Wii has been gathering dust to the point where I packed it away 2 weeks ago. Here now, don't lower me to your level old chum! My Wii is still unboxed and standing proud. Its just been on standby a few weeks rather than being played! Aside from a bit of Sonic Mega Collection, I haven't played any Wii games since Guilty Gear- and I haven't played it since the day I picked it up- 5-6 weeks ago. (Actually, I had a few games of Pro Evo online one night, apart from that I've been DSing it up.) You getting both Baroque and Opoona then, Hero? I was thinking about Opoona the other day would you believe. If/ when you get them, be sure to bump the threads with some of your impressions!
Hero-of-Time Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Exactly, Hellfire. No offence, but its kinda dumb to just wait for good games to come when you don't even have all the good games that are out there for the Wii No offence but how do you know what people have in their collection? Maybe people have bought all of the titles that are out that interest them and are waiting for something new. Here now, don't lower me to your level old chum! LOL. After those comments maybe I wont post what I think and let you find out for yourself
Emerald Emblem Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time The World Ends with you Rondo of Swords (Only over a few days of my Summer Holiday, I suck at it) Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (Tis the season, both versions) Phoenix Wright Ace attorney
Guest Maase Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 No offence but how do you know what people have in their collection? Maybe people have bought all of the titles that are out that interest them and are waiting for something new. Most of, if not all, guys in this forum, are waiting for a "Big" game while they still haven't played The Legend of Zelda, No More Heroes or even Zack and Wiki
Tyson Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Most of, if not all, guys in this forum, are waiting for a "Big" game while they still haven't played The Legend of Zelda, No More Heroes or even Zack and Wiki It could just be that those games aren't to their taste, surely. I'd prefer to spend the precious little moneyI have on a game I want as opposed to a game someone told me was good.
Gizmo Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Braid Geo Wars 2 SCIV Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Loco Roco Distinct lack of anything Nintendo there Only thing on the horizon I can really see is Wario Land too. Might have to play through Galaxy again soon though.
ThePigMarcher Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I haven't really noticed the drought too much. Okami kept me occupied for ages , and I want to make time to go through it again. Guitar Hero 3 was probably the thing I spent most time on because I only picked it up quite late , still suck pretty badly though. Madden '08 also helped , I had neglected my Seahawks franchise because of the online play , so I needed to take my beloved mob to the Superbowl , which I did. The awesome MLB Power Pros also kept me busy. Smash Bros occupied me for a little while , although I am not really a big fan of the series. Mario Kart also helped , although I rarely play it now because it is more frustrating than fun. I also spent a lot of time occupied by an online American Football RPG where I manage a team (unsuccessfully and unlucky at the same time). Now that Madden '09 (and the start of the NFL regular season soon) is here I probably won't get much time for anything else , which is probably just as well because I can't really find much to look forward to over the next couple of months on Wii , that could change though. There are a lot of WiiWare titles that I wouldn't mind checking out but I refuse to buy any until Nintendo finally sort out the storage problem , which supposedly should happen soon.
darkjak Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 No More Heroes Wings over Europe (just to be able to fly the J35 Draken, the most beutiful aircraft EVER!) The Specialists
Sparko Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I've been playing Brawl and Boom Blox mainly, and have to get back to Zack and Wiki and lego Star Wars at some stage. Plus I will be buying Okami once I hae some time to play it.
RedShell Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Every year everyone talks about a drought and I never feel it. Right now I'm not home, so basically DS, but the games in my sig, Wario Land Shake It, Brawl, Okami, Mario Kart Wii, Metal Slug, Mario & Sonic At The Olympics (with my cousins, been having a blast, although I've been playing Wii Play and Sports with them too), Wii Fit (lol), Dewey's Adventures, Eledees, Guilty Gear AC XX,Boom Blox, bought Scarface cheap yesterday, so that, Persona 3, Frequency, DMC4, Forza 2, bought Kameo too, so add that to the list, Fire Emblem GBA, Castlevania II, Kirby Amazing Mirror, Phoenix Wright 2 and probably some more. I'm very promiscuousI'm noticing a severe lack of Rhythm Tengoku Gold in that epic list of games Hellfire... for shame. I haven't clicked that link, but I just know it goes to Cooking Guide, right? :wink:ERRRR Wrong! But that reminds me, I have actually been playing (well... using ) Cooking Guide recently, so you can add that to my drought survival list too, just about. Next up for me will be Wario in September, although I've also got KORG DS-10 on the way from Japan which should be arriving soon.
Diageo Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Brawl [really good, can't stop] World ends with you [pretty boring but whatever] Fire emblem wii [realised i never finished it] I never really notice droughts, my friends keep complaining to me but I dont normally buy lots of games so I know how to occupy myself...
Patch Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Tons of stuff to play: Smash Brawl (8 trophies left to get) Shining in the Darkness Phoenix Wright 4 Final Fantasy VI, VII GTA: San Andreas God of War There's just too much to play and not enough time. Which is fantastic.
EchoDesiato Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Let's see... MGS4 Killer 7 Okami MGS3 MGS:TTS MGS2 Stranglehold Phoenix Wright 3 MGS4 again I've also been playing Brawl and Guitar Hero on and off. And now I'm on the last case of Apollo Justice. Oh, I also started yet another game of RE4. I can't say I experienced any drought. I also need to start playing two games I bought a while ago: Beyond Good and Evil and Folklore. Busy times.
darkjak Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 It's correct that we're not really in a drought right now, but it won't be long before we will...

S.C.G Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Chronotrigger - loving every minute of it. Ecco : Defender of the Future - playing this properly for this first time, awesome game, it's like the whole 2D format except in 3D and it works brilliantly. Rock Band - always fun to have a blast on the world tour mode.
DazzeL Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Most of, if not all, guys in this forum, are waiting for a "Big" game while they still haven't played The Legend of Zelda, No More Heroes or even Zack and Wiki I think your on the wrong boards mate if you think that most people who post here haven't played "The Legend of Zelda".
Hellfire Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I'm noticing a severe lack of Rhythm Tengoku Gold in that epic list of games Hellfire... for shame. . I'm waiting for my friends to bring it to me from Japan, but they can't find it anywhere!
RedShell Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I'm waiting for my friends to bring it to me from Japan, but they can't find it anywhere! That's too bad man. Yeah it's selling pretty well right now, already outsold the GBA original too. Anyway, make sure your friends in Japan don't give up!
tapedeck Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I've got Rhythm Tengoku Gold sat here unboxed...I'll have time to play it soon. Certainly looking forward to it. I have no idea what it's all about. I just know it's got rhythm involved and Redshell (and a world of internet importers) love it. Good enough for me. Other than that I've been playing: Wii: Strongbad on WiiWare - hillarious! Lostwinds on WiiWare - taking my time and I've yet to finish it Paper Mario VC - Must. Finish. DS Race Driver: GRID Review here too! (Online is sooo good!) KORG-DS - brilliant tool CrossworDS - not just a killer but a mass murderer of time PS3 GTAIV - on and off as it's so massive I've yet to finish it. R&Clank - Again, just keeps on going! PC Pro Evo 6 (the amazingly edited version) with EA commentary/real faces/kits/200+ stadiums/2008 roster. It's all I will EVER need. Drought?
