That really can't be called a trailer. It consisted mostly of a camera moving through environments and some very basic movement. It looks like a show-off an alpha stage engine at best.

I like the narration in this trailer, It gives it more of an atmosphere. It looks intriguing, graphically I like the enviroments and buildings (though some bits aren't so great.) but the actual character models need some work on the guy walking up through the mountain near the start was a a bit to fuzzy looked like a DS game. :p (well not that bad!)

I like the idea behind it as well and hope it has a good story. I'll be looking for more news on this as it develops. :)

Ooo, the screens a couple of posts above look rather good for the Wii.

No, I think they look rather good compared with the crap we've seen so far on Wii. The screens have a resolution too high for the Wii, yes, but the graphics seen in them are nothing out of reach of the Wii.

And play some Gamecube games to see how gorgeous they were and understand that the Wii can make much better.

You misunderstand me, that's exaclty what I meant. I own a gamecube and have done from the start so I know how could the graphics could look.

A hands-on in the latest issue of NGamer reveals that Deep Silver's upcoming horror title, Cursed Mountain, could support Wii MotionPlus.

Cursed Mountain, announced back in July by developers Deep Silver, takes place in the Himalayas in the 1980s and follows the tale of a climber who has lost his brother on a trek near a village occupied by the restless souls of the people who died there many years ago.

Issue #30 of NGamer features a hands-on with Deep Silver's creepy caper and includes a few more details on the controls of Cursed Mountain. Wii Remote gestures will be used to act out rituals and use prayer scrolls in order to defeat ghosts and allow them to move on to the underworld. As we'll be assuming the role of a climber, gestures will also be used to scale frozen walls with an icepick.

The hands-on also features confirmation that the developers are considering implenting Wii MotionPlus support into Cursed Mountain to allow for more accurate motion recognition.

Be sure to pick up the Christmas issue of NGamer when it hits shelves next week to read the full preview. Cursed Mountain is due for a release at some point in 2009.

I'm liking all this motionlus support. For me, EVERY game should include the option to use motionplus AS WELL as normal wiimote player. That way noone gets isolated, yet will offer better control for people with motion plus; also encouraging people to actually upgrade to motionplus and then in the long run encouraging developers to use it in ever more creative ways!!

^ yeh. The atmosphere that they've managed to create so far looks great. You really get a sense of the isolation and the insignificance of your character in the face of this mountain. Combat is looking a bit strange but then I don't know much about it so that's why.

Another New Trailer [^]

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44658.html

They're doing some great work on this!

- Voice work is excellent

- Story seems a good one

- Some great visuals on the locations etc...

Only thing i'm not sure about yet is the gameplay! I'm not saying it bad, I just don't know what it's about yet, or what to expect. There seems to be a camera you can use, which is linke to some sort of motion controlled battle system...

anyone know if we can expect adventuring? [like Tomb raider or Uncharted], I guess there'll be some puzzle solving?...

Anyways, definately one to watch!
