Dante Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Or some barely dressed slut pissed up, covered in sick and falling down the curb. Or orange looking girls in PJ's. Mine are; Listening to music. Thinking to myself. Using MSN.
Roostophe Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Play games Watch telly Surf the 'net Listen to music It just used to be that. Read Yotsuba or Azumanga Daioh. No, Im totally serious, even if your not even into manga, this shit is a legal high. God bless Kiyohiko Azuma. Now that as well. Except it's "watch" instead of "read" and I don't have Yotsuba...yo, OG, send me some of that shit!
Raining_again Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Or some barely dressed slut pissed up, covered in sick and falling down the curb. don't forget the compulsory blue WKD in hand!
weeyellowbloke Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Obey the General. When I'm feeling alone and life is making me lonely, I sometimes go downtown or to the pub with some mates. If mates are lacking I'll just put on music loudly and game or just go out for a walk, fresh air often makes things better. I especially love walking around at night in quiet secluded areas.

jayseven Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Wow - am sure glad I changed my name back to 'jayseven' now... Er, when I'm down/depressed, I go for the ol' escapism via drink and/or 20 hours of DVDs. Bit awkward to do it here in brighton as the lounge is my 'bedroom'. Speaking off -- tequila tiime! *disappears*
Coolness Bears Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 What I do to cheer myself up is: EAT LIKE A MADMAN! Vast quantities of food are eaten when I'm down... Wait huge quantities are eaten even if I'm not down. :p Eating food keeps me constantly happy! I also play Videogames, It's good to get lost in another world! And talking to people. Oh and watching Anime particularly The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or Lucky Star brings a smile to my face. ^_____^ More recently as well music which can cheer me up to, i isten to mainly fun (read: Rubbish) Music anyway!
Linky649 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I agree with Raining_Again, chocolate is a must for cheering up.
Raining_again Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 I agree with Raining_Again, chocolate is a must for cheering up. Its got magic ingredients ^___^ Also nice to see you posting at last daviiidddd

Coolness Bears Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Yeah I'm finally here! Hello people! Hey Welcome to the forums : peace: Great to have you here! I like you already because you love chocolate! :p
Eenuh Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Things that sometimes help cheer me up: - food, lots of it. And the unhealthier it is the better. Chocolate FTW! - music, especially sad songs that make me cry (yes, they help me feel better eventually) - videogames, if they're exciting. If not, they just make things worse. - talking to nice people. =)
Supergrunch Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 - Talking to other people. - Beethoven's Archduke Trio. - Burnt Norton. - Nabokov. - Phonology. - Evolutionary arms races.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 - Talking to other people.- Beethoven's Archduke Trio. - Burnt Norton. - Nabokov. - Phonology. - Evolutionary arms races. Phonology rules! Chocolate is indeed good for cheering up ... heck, it's good for ANYTHING! Playing Smash has a double-or-nothing effect on me. Either I beat the living crap out of some high level enemy and finish him off with a perfectly landed meteor smash, giving me a great feeling inside ... ooor I get beaten the living crap out of by some high level enemy, not able to even land a single hit, pissing me off to such a degree you'll never learn how to spell it. Oh, and welcome to the forums, Link Six Hundred And Forty Nine! Ah, so that's why people use numbers ...
RoadKill Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I dunno, I just hide away from the world and pretend everything is alright; how can it not be when I have shit like this:
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Actually, I've just found out that Amy Macdonald's music really sheers me up. I find her music simply amazing.
Linky649 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 One other thing that cheers me up, which may be odd to some, but Dog Training and Obedience. I have two German Shepherds and they need constant training and play. There is nothing better than the buzz you get when they learn what you want them to do and do it. (Apart from this it has to be chocolate and driving my MINI, now that is FUN!)
Beast Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Mine are either: Play Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii Play Mortal Kombat on the DS Listen to music and walk and see where I end up (like someone else on here has said before)
Jav_NE Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Having a cigarette cheers me up. Getting away from people, getting some fresh air and having those five mintues to yourself to think and relax can do a whole lot of good.
