Sanchez Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 So a quantam of solace game with scenes from casino royale?
McPhee Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Not sure myself, i think they should have moved it to a 3rd person 'over the shoulder' RE4 style game. I just think it would suit the new Bond films more, they aren't as run + gun as the Brosnan films.
Owen Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Like the look of it..though it's just gotta play well and be exciting!
Pit-Jr Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 But the 4th pic shows a 3rd person shoulder perspective. Maybe it has both?
D_prOdigy Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 So a quantam of solace game with scenes from casino royale? But the 4th pic shows a 3rd person shoulder perspective. Maybe it has both? Read the IGN article - it answers a lot.
Jimjebus Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Haven't seen a james bond game for ages, wonder if this will actually be any good , Looks good..... But thats what some people said about haze.
ViPeR Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Well if it's Treyarch doing it I hope they do a good job of the multiplayer because I imagine that's the only reason i'd get this game. If they can manage the awesomeness of Goldeneyes single player i'll be impressed.
LegoMan1031 Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I hope this turns out good. I feel i have been let down with every bond game i have played since goldeneye! Is it so hard to make a good FPS with a bond licence?
Aalborg Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 god dammit.. i wanted to be the first to mention goldeneye
Wesley Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I am playing GoldenEye right now. Therefore, therefore, therefore.
Marshmellow Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Ooo that looks good! Haven't bought a 007 game since goldeneye, but maybe I'll be picking this one up.
Jimjebus Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I hope this turns out good. I feel i have been let down with every bond game i have played since goldeneye! Is it so hard to make a good FPS with a bond licence? Seriously? , I thought Everything or nothing was ok but not as good as i found multiplayer bots in Nightfire. Also this game needs the classice car chase in Aston martin or any other cars he'd use
thunderer Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Nightfire multiplayer bots were the funniest things ever, if you set the weapons to random and you got lucky enough, the starting weapon would be laser trip mines... the bots would just throw them when they saw you...resulted in lots of red lasers shooting towards the sky, was awesomely funny.
Dyson Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Nightfire itself was a great game. Good storyline, solid controls, decent enough multiplayer. The random weapons thing was hilarious though, everyone starting off with Ronin's ftw.
Wesley Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I remember having quite a bit of fun with Nightfire's multiplayer.
ViPeR Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Nightfire wasn't bad, was that the one where you could randomly grapple hook any roof? That made multiplayer matches pretty damned funny I can tell you. I have Everything or Nothing and it's the best one i've played after Goldeneye. I think one of the main reasons I haven't got into the other games is simply because they're not based on Bond films I actually like. I think Casino Royale is awesome and so hopefully i'll be picking this one up.
Cube Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I hope some of the levels are ones where you can wander around at will (from what they've described on IGN, this may be the case). A mixture of linear and (small) free-roaming levels would be awesome, and help a lot with the pace of the game.
LegoMan1031 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Seriously? , I thought Everything or nothing was ok but not as good as i found multiplayer bots in Nightfire. Also this game needs the classice car chase in Aston martin or any other cars he'd use Yup, well i have played through every game and thought there were okish but i found them very boring quite quickly(Everything or nothing was the best out of the other ones though). Sure if i played on goldeneye again now i would probably laugh at it and go back to the likes of CoD4 but the amount of reply and multiplayer i got out of goldeneye was amazing. Perfect Dark was the next game after goldeneye that i played 2 death in single player and multi.
Retro_Link Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Personally I think this looks hideous.Kind of agree!
Jimbob Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Looks impressive so far, may look into this if it starts to turn interesting and plays good unlike previous Bond games. As long as the guns don't need to fire 30 bullets to kill someone i should be fine.
Retro_Link Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Gameplay Trailer! http://www.gametrailers.com/player/35953.html Actually get a much better feeling for it from that video and the guy talking about it! Also coming to Wii!
