Guest Stefkov Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 well we are on the internet... Fuck. Would never have guessed. Day got bad cos I got an email saying that apparently I didn't hand an assignment in in time. Never mind the fact that it's actually, right now, in the box with everyone elses work and has been since last friday. There's gonna be a shitstorm tomorrow if I'm told I can only get 40% of the marks, so bring your umbrellas.

Guest Stefkov Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 We were given nothing of the sort. Just told to throw the CD with it on and some other sheets into a box...
nightwolf Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Ouch, I'd send an email to the tutor to say you've handed it in, at least that way they recieve it and you have proof you have. Seems like an odd system to have, I've yet to hand an assignment in though..
Guest Stefkov Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 The email was also sent to the other two guys in my flat (and others) and one of them has his lesson 2 hours before mine and quite clearly handed his in. We're just gonna go tomorrow and at the start of the lesson give em hell I think. Such a shit module...I wouldn't care if I didn't have to pass all of the modules to get into second year.
Chris the great Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 its probly an admin error, after a double check all will be well.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 nightwolf is correct, you should have some hand-in form. Your system is flawed!
Dyson Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Too much fun smoke means too much wanting to eat shit food, means tummy ache. And I have to wake up at 7:30am. Score! Also oww.. On the plus side been a really chilled out evening. Loved it, been in a really good mood tonight for a change.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 When I'm at work I have a glass of water and ice primed at all times. I think it waits on standby until I get home so it wants me to piss every 10 mins. Regardless of the fact I am on my fourth of Carling... Either way, my bladder is worth fuck all.
Letty Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I went to college yesterday, and ended up just reading magazines and playing my psp. I guess I make up for it today at work though..

Drinky-poodles after work for massive win, I shall pick up a t-shirt that arrived from eBay, and I will buy Gears....and then want to play it tomorrow but won't be able to. Massive win.
Guest Jordan Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Shit to be honest. Really shit. Thanks to Shetland being shit as always none of my furniture is going to turn up till fucking TUESDAY. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CROSS A 300 MILE STRETCH OF SEA?! So this means i'll be sleeping on the fucking floor till then. Fucks sake, there is just no sense of urgency or convince living here. Its fucking disgraceful.
ReZourceman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CROSS A 300 MILE STRETCH OF SEA?! turn up till fucking TUESDAY. Heh. Would an awesome ReZ joke cheer you up? Came up with this beauty yesterday. I put a raisin into my ISA today. Its a currant account now.
Gentleben Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I went to college yesterday, and ended up just reading magazines and playing my psp. People play PSP now? Arrived into work today and totally forget it was "dress down friday" that's never happened before-guess I've got a lot on my mind.
Eenuh Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Had a nice evening with friends last night, painting a friend's wall. And eating crêpes that tasted more of egg than anything else. =P Today has been a bit meh. Woke up to go to school, cycling really fast to arrive in time (as I left five minutes later than usual). Waited there for 40 minutes only to have our teacher tell us that the guest lecturer messed up and thought she was supposed to be there next week. So yeah, wasted hours. Plus no free day for me next week. =( Went to the library though and got some books for my research class. Think I might nap a bit now, as I have to go to a play in the evening (school related, boooh).

Its fucking disgraceful. Oh trust me it's the same inland. It took a company three weeks to replace a table for my sisters flat...don't even get me started on the double bed it was silly. Grr at wow, don't know why I bothered, so many freakin' patches that take forever. I tried making an account before the downloads were finished only for it to make me pay when I've yet to get my free trail...games I swear... Going to go job hunting later, probably zavvi and boots, hand in a few c.v's after class, meant to be talking to somebody in the games industry apprently, so that's cool ^_^ edit: went to see a house this morning for next year. It's basically perfect for us all, bills included, the guy even pays for sky for christ sake. It's such a lovely place, car parking spaces, four rooms, big kitchen, big garden, he even comes and trims the garden... so why aren't I moving in for only 56quid a week? It takes over 20minutes to get there and it's up steep hill and steps which sucks as my mate becka can't handle that and I don't want my other mate relying on transport So disappointed.

There's a house near mine, rather a flat I think, which is offering £59 a week including bills. There's either something wrong with the place, or they want you to do/film porn.
darksnowman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 So, to summarise, me = grumpy.... and it's pissing me off! Ed, bro, I understand completely. I'm supposed to say that things will come good again, silver lining and all... but I dunno. I'd play you at squash and it would be a blood bath as we both unleashed the beast- could be therapeutic. Try and hang in there man and for frig sake, buy yourself an ice cream or something to make up for that dessert.

There's either something wrong with the place, or they want you to do/film porn. Nothing wrong with the price at all, I think most of the places in town are between 40-60quid a week, including some bills. The guy works for sheffield hallam anyway, really nice chap, even puts locks on the doors etc. So there was no catch. I was definately expecting one. But there isn't!

Before I get told off, is your mate physically disabled? For 56 quid a week with everything included that place is an absolute steal!!! Also, twenty mins is hardly anything, I live about 40-50 minutes away from my Uni (that's by bus) and I pay 80 a week with nowt included (trust Bath to be bloody expensive). If it's a case of someone waking up a bit earlier every morning and getting the bus to uni then it's worth it. Of course, if I'm wrong and they genuinely can't deal with the challenges of the landscape etc, then forget this post!

Of course, if I'm wrong and they genuinely can't deal with the challenges of the landscape etc, then forget this post! 56 quid a week is actually the higher end for a double bed room in shefs town centre actually, but it's bill included. She is, she has to have a crutch, but she's fully able to walk and can do stairs, but just not that far, even I was out of puff by the end. It's a ridiculous walk. It'd be about £6 a week for buses, but buses stop at 22:20 and trams an hour or so later, so if we wanted to go out we'd have to rely on taxis If it wasn't for the walk we'd nab it off him now, but it's just not worth it. There is other places we've been looking at, not as good mind with bills etc, but still pretty nice. So there's lots of time. I think the most expensive was 90quid a week, but that was because of the area and that's a one off. Not bad really.
ReZourceman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Before I get told off, is your mate physically disabled? Aye, gotta say that doesn't sound too bad. I used to live up a massive hill 30 minutes away from town, and did the journey constantly.
nightwolf Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 *facepalm* but you are forgetting that whilst I can do the journey, danille cannot because she's at another campus and my other friend cannot make the journey because of her leg..

Aye, sorry my post came out before I read your most recent post....you're too quick-a responder. Like a hawk.
