The map book lies. It said you would be enjoying Sonic ch00nz during the ride. That's bullshit. The only thing related to Sonic you heard was the ring noise in the queue, and Sonic giving you "instructions" at the end of the queue.

What would've been awesome if they played the drowing music as you were dragged up then went into Casino Night Zone or something.

You mean something like this

Broadcast Yourself
Audio

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Fuck it, have it going on any rollercoaster would be pr0. Have it right at the top of Oblivion. Soon as it cuts out. Whoosh.

Yay, doctors appointment today, that should be fun.

My left eye isn't as bloodshot any more, unfortunately, yesterday, it spread to my right eye. Woke up about 3 times from 1am to 6am and each time had to wash both eyes because they were practically stuck together :heh: My throat is better but the cough is about 10 times worse, which in turn after a bad coughing hit makes my throat sore again :(

Oh well, time off work :bouncy: (but I don't think I get paid...)

My exams are getting closer, and they're stressing me out. I'm not worried I won't do acceptably, it's just that I demand so ridiculously much of myself that it fucks with my mind. I hate being a perfectionist.

With my "difficult" childhood, autism and all, the one thing I always had was my doing well in school. It's become something that I define myself by. When I can't do as well as I want to, which is almost impossible due to my ridiculous expectations of myself, I feel like I'm a failure. I hate it. It's ridiculous. Why can't I realise I'm worth more than some stupid grades?

Because you're not. You are nothing but what your grades say you are. NOTHING!!!

Anyone who says otherwise is lying and will still judge you.

To follow up...

I have been given antibiotics and eye drops, each to be taken 4 times a day. I also have the rest of the week off work... I'm gonna go insane...

Bought another monitor. Shiny shiny.

Really I shouldn't have, I should have left that £90 in the bank, but by god my desk looks awesome.

Hopefully it'll fit on the desk in the new flat otherwise I'll have to move everything round, bwuahaha.

It makes me happy. Now to take back the connector I bought so I can actually use the screen, grr.

Twas one of them days today, practically non-stop (except the first 1/2 hour or so). Re-labled some pictures that had slipped, started some advertising for Learn Direct and helped tidy several rooms.

Got a phone call when I was at work. So, listened to the voicemail message and heard that it was from Victoria at the agency. I thought it was about work for tomorrow, but it didn't click that Victoria was the person I had spoken to t'other week about relocating and getting a job near London.

So, rang her back, didn't get through to her initially. After a half hour of umming and ahhing, I rang again.

"Hi, I've got good news and bad news."

"What what?"

"The good news is...I've got you an interview!"

"JESUS!...ooo, sorry, I just swore on the phone."

"Hehe, it's ok. The bad news is that your interview is Thursday!"

"JESUS!!!!"

"Yeah...sorry about that."

So, I've got to plan a literacy/English or numeracy/Maths lesson to a group of 8 children with Special Education Needs. There are three candidates. THREE. On the phone, when I heard that I thought "THREE? I can take them!" and then I thought "SHit! Three? I bet they're really good...not including me in the good part!"

And yes, it's in Slough. I r in South Wales. It looks like I'll be getting the 5:33 train, as I need to get there for 8. Either that, or I'll have to get there tomorrow evening and stay in an overnight hotel. If I get that train, I'll be in Slough at 7:36 and will then need to get a taxi ride to the school.

Pleasure. And Pain.

My Mum told me that she had gotten a letter addressed to me (my name was above the window in the envelope) from a "debt" collection agency. Which was pretty scary as it is talking about a debt that I paid off in December. After looking into the company, they sound pretty terrible (there are bad reports from both people they hassle, their clients and people who worked for them but quit because they were told to lie).

Oddly, the date of this so-called "debt" is completely wrong (apparently it's from a house I rented in 2000, when I was twelve). Their client (a letting agency) also has my current address on record so I don't know why it was sent to my old one.

I have decided to ignore the debt agency for now, and have asked the letting agency if they know about it, stating that this company misleads their clients and have been in plenty of trouble with the OFT - plus they spent years hassling people without a proper license.

It was a scare, but the more I look at it then the more it looks like a scam. I'm just concerned about where they got the details from, as some are wrong but others are correct.

That is one thing i didn't like too much with Agencys, all-ways getting you interviews at in-conveniant times. Still, it is possible work at the end of the day.

Oh, I am super grateful for it. But, the interview being on Thursday just..makes me rather flustered. Nervous.

Shit, it's the day after tomorrow. If I get it, I'll be relocating. If I don't get it, I'll be gutted. Really, this interview could decide where I'll be spending the next year (or beyond).

Don't panic, it should be ok. But one thing that could let you down is that you are coming from South Wales (i know the re-locating is necessary if you get said job).

Go in with the impression that you are the only one being interviewed (forget the other 3). Thats what i did every-time i had interviews, calmed me down a lot.

Congrats Fierce! But on the bright side it being so soon is you have less time to panic(! at the disco) about it. Just try and remember we like you so...you're doomed. ;) All the best dude :)

Plus Jim, you're Pakistani. Positive discrimination and all that :p (I still say that's how I got my current job)

I'm really not all that bothered about relocating. Unless I get there and decide that I hate the place. It's only 10 mins from London Paddington, so there's always that escape.

Cheers, dude.

I don't know if it'll help, but I'm the only bloke being interviewed. I don't want to gain an unfair advantage, as I want to win it through being me. Ahh, why does it have to be so soon?!

Coming from South Wales could work in your favour. They could see it as showing tremendous willing to make the sacrifices required to work in that school.

You wouldn't be relocating soon though would you? I'd presume it'd be a September start wouldn't it? Year is winding down at the moment and that.

I'm sure they'll love you for you and your guns Flink.

It's a September start, aye.

Just looking at what's involved: I need to do that 25 minute lesson, then a 25 minute interview with the school council, and then a 25 minute interview with the Head teacher. It looks like I haven't got the toughest class, but now I'm thinking what will happen if the candidate with the tougher class pulls it off and looks good. Hmm.

So, basically I need to:

Plan a lesson for Thursday

Plan the journey (which I've pretty much done)

Research lots more into the school

Brushen up on some interview questions

bits and bobs.

I don't want to grow up. :(
