Dyson Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I am. I'm dreading it..I know I've done terribly.
Strider Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 GCSE results a week later then A levels. I know i messed up maths I got really high marks on the moduals then when the final test came i did shit.
Ellmeister Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Meh the night before our GCSE results day, a group of us went to our mate's and it totally got our mind off it, we had no sleep and ended up walking to our school which is about 20minutes away. And as fate would have it, it CHUCKED it down... really really heavily. I had to have my picture taken in the local newspaper looking a right mess =[ I'm getting a little bit more scared of thursday but I really want it to hurry up and get here! I'll be glad to get whatever really
Goron_3 Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I'm so scared for Thursday I want to go into medicine so need 3 A's, BUT I caught chickenpox the week before my exams so i spent all of my week of in bed unable to move. Oh well, hopefully I'll do well.
welsh_gamer Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 When I collected my GCSE results, all I did was walk into the office where I was to recive my results, discussed the results with a teacher, walk out and have a bit of a discussion with my friends about them and that was it. Feel like I have missed out on something after all that footage on the news, of pupils opening envelopes and jumping up and down with excitment, hugging one another tho.... I passed everything with A-C grades, apart from my Maths, in which I recived an E. Thank God for re-sits. Good luck to everyone on results day tho, and don't worry!
Charlie Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 I can't believe you have to go into school to get your results. In previous years they got mailed out to us but this year I got them in a text message at 8 in the morning. (Got them in the post the next day too)
The fish Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Holy crap, I've just realised I (technically) get my results tomorrow!
Guest Stefkov Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Me too. Results tommorow, can't wait to see a big fat bolded D next to Maths.
The fish Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Me too. Results tommorow, can't wait to see a big fat bolded D next to Maths. I predict a B for myself, but I'm a bit of a pessimist... It makes everything a nice surprise!
Guest Stefkov Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I like to think low, then I don't get dissapointed. I tried to think I did well in my Maths C1, then didn't do too well. I was sad. So hoping for the lowest pass then getting better is even better.
Slaggis Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Good luck everyone getting their results tomorrow! I don't get my gcse ones untill the 23rd. I still have no idea whether I've been failed for english. My schol can't be arsed to inform me about that.
Chuck Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I get my results on the 23rd aswell. Getting 10 GCSE's overall. I hated coursework, did some revision, got bollocted so I expect not to do that well. I keep having dreams about not getting my results or getting really disapointing ones in a certain subject + being bollocted for it I hope I get A or higher in Physics Maths and one more. If I get an A* in anything I wont care if I get anything below a C

I've had a few dreams too, one where I opened the envolope with my results and had all my class mates surround me laughing. Pretty wierd. I'm getting 11 1/2 GCSE's overall I think. Good luck anyway
Twozzok Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 The As/2 results are on Thursday right? I'm shitting myself on the off chance I totally flunked Music Tech and have to take physics instead !_!
Dyson Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Music Tech is made of win. For the amount of work I put in...I really hope that I did well. Even if I fail everything else, getting a good grade in Music Tech would make it alright. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone..!
killthenet Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Me so glad I did a BTEC. Make me get grades much earlier. Me done good also.
Ellmeister Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Haha! in 23 hours and 25 minutes we can go collect our results. Everytime I visit this thread I start to get a little freaked out :P I'm hoping for an A in maths As. Got A on the first one and I don't think I did too bad on C2 or D1. I'm reall excited bout seeing my Law result the most *goes even more hyper*
Wesley Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I don't want to go get my results. I actually don't want to; as in if it wasn't for my girlfriend getting hers tomorrow I'd be at work and I wouldn't be collecting mine.

D-Day Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Got my leaving results. got 405 for anyone that understands the system(to would be just you conzer:)) 405?!?! are you talking about the UCAS points? Like in terms of A-Level s, A = 120, B = 100 etc. Well if thats what you're talking about... getting 405 points would get you into any uni in the land!!! or are you talking about for an individual curse you got 405??? In A-Levels that would be a C I think!!! Wll anyhow well done (if your happy with them ). With the A-Level results out tomorrow, I'm not as nervous as I should be... but that's good I guess! I need two B's in Chemistry and Biology, here's hoping I get them!
