Paj! Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Mine are all Bjork except for my , and it basically still is (written by her). --- Finally bought Contra by Vampire Weekend the other day. I like it. Less hooky than the first one, but more aurally rewarding.
chairdriver Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I'm scared at how empowered Laura Marling is. Every song she sings could be the theme tune for Ashe from FFXII. Oh, pick up your rope, Lord Sling it to me If we are to battle, I must not be weak. And give us your strength, World and your food and your water Oh I am your saviour, Your life serving daughter
Ramar Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Don't Stop Now - Cauterize Bitter Too - My Passion Better Off Dead - New Found Glory That Thing You Do! - New Found Glory Hit Or Miss - New Found Glory The Goonies 'R' Good Enough - New Found Glory Sincerely Me - New Found Glory Bit disappointed in the lack of variety in my top 7. But then looking at my top 25 there's not much variety at all, but I do most of my music listening on the iPod not iTunes.
Dan_Dare Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I can't play the silly listing game! recently (relatively) acquired new pc means a kind of blank slate on the 'most played' list, which is now basically made up of Hot Chip and Radiohead because they're the only bands I've binged on since I upgraded.
Goron_3 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Listening to Chiddy Bangs album The Swelly Express, quite impressed! Surprised as I'm not a massive fan of the single opposite of adults but I'm liking the album surprisingly. Good times.
Jon Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 My Top 7. 1. Before it's Too Late - Goo Goo Dolls (327) 2. Gotta Be Somebody - Nickeback (223) 3. Superman Tonight - Bon Jovi (193) 4. Where My Heart Will Take Me - Russell Watson (169) 5. Home - Daughtry (166) 6. That's What You Get - Paramore (145) 7. Let it Go - Cavo (130)
Mr_Odwin Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Lou Barlow – Holding Back the Year (57) Lou Barlow – Home (41) Lou Barlow – Puzzle (39) Alice in Chains – Grind (38) Sonic Youth – Schizophrenia (38) Beck – E-Pro (38) Lou Barlow – Legendary (37) Lou Barlow – Caterpillar Girl (36) Radiohead – Idioteque (35) Nirvana – Polly (35) So, apparently I'm a big fan of Lou Barlow. I can't play the silly listing game! recently (relatively) acquired new pc means a kind of blank slate on the 'most played' list, which is now basically made up of Hot Chip and Radiohead because they're the only bands I've binged on since I upgraded. No last.fm?
Roostophe Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I also have a blank slate with my iTunes and binging on the same artist, but I like silly listing games such as this so I'll join in. I do have my last.fm, but it's all dominated by J-Pop/Rock. You'd have to go down to No. 24 to find a non-J-Pop/Rock song (Twist and Shout by The Beatles with 62 plays) Anyway: 1. Money Will Love You (English Version) - Rie fu - 12 plays 2. Misery - The Beatles - 9 plays 3= Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand - The Beatles - 8 plays 3= Carnival - The Pillows - 8 plays 5. Money Will Love You - Rie fu - 7 plays 6= Anna (Go To Him) - The Beatles - 6 plays 6= I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles - 6 plays 1. Rie fu - Waratte, Megumi no Moto he - 162 plays 2. Rie fu - Life is Like a Boat - 154 plays 3. Rie fu - Shine - 120 plays 4. Eufonius - Megumeru ~cuckool mix 2007~ - 113 plays 5. Rie fu - I Wanna Go To A Place... - 108 plays 6= Aya Hirano - Lost My Music - 106 plays 6= Aya Hirano - God Knows - 106 plays Yeah.
Dan_Dare Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 No last.fm? It's not been installed or running on my old or new pc for ages so it wouldn't show much good.
Dyson Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Don't Stop Now - Cauterize You heard Shooting Stars by the same people? Great track.
Ramar Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 You heard Shooting Stars by the same people? Great track. Yeah, I have. They're my favourite band, it's all Nintendo and 1080 Avalanche's fault. Still can't believe they broke up almost 3 years ago. Time has flown.
Ashley Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I don't get this Justin Bieber thing. What is it? What does it do? When does it finish gestating? He was on SNL and I was just so confused by it.
dan-likes-trees Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Who cares when new LCD just leaked!! Get on it kids!!
Ashley Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I keep hearing his name. Why? Maybe you have Bieber Fever without knowing it? As I say, he was in the new SNL. You should watch because Tina Fey hosts it and its a decent episode. Only I'll really care but Steel Train's new album has been given a release date (29th June) and a huge cover art. Excited
Goron_3 Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Damian Marley and Nas are performing in Manchester on 16th July... ... .. . And none of my flipping friends want to go with me. twats.
Razz Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Been making an effort to listen to some more happy boppy music. So far it's been Dog Days Are Over by FloMac and Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel and I'm slightly less proud to admit Replay by Iyaz. Happy! Then I relapsed by listening to Liquid Diamonds by She Who Shall Not Be Named, with some extra bass, and was in rapture. Try it.
Coolness Bears Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 IT'S ALL ABOUT SEAN KINGSTON, WHAT A BEAST.
Paj! Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I love this remix atm. Only heard the original once and was not impressed at all.

Then I relapsed by listening to Liquid Diamonds by She Who Shall Not Be Named, with some extra bass, and was in rapture. Try it. Obscenely happy music you say? So fitting. I realised yesterday TBLLT's album 'Law of the Playground' is a perfect soundtrack to the last year of my life.
nightwolf Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 In love with Beautiful bride, In the dark and Circle.
ipaul Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Having listened to Rubber Soul over the past couple of days, I can safely say I definitely prefer Magical Mystery Tour and Sgt Peppers. Soul is just a bit too acoustic for my liking and i prefer the trippy hippyness of their work from 1967. Still great stuff though.
