Posted April 13, 2009 Whoever added the Knockin' On Heaven's Door cover has nailed the playlist mood. Also, Gold Dust is good. Not what I'd listen to but nice to hear. How is Black Cat by Ladytron sad? Yeah, someone own up to that!
Posted April 13, 2009 Whoever added the Knockin' On Heaven's Door cover has nailed the playlist mood. You could just listen to Antony & The Johnsons on shuffle. It's all in a similar vein, tbh. (I didn't add it)

Posted April 13, 2009 Shorty has an awesome mopey playlist, I'm sure. Check out Bright Eyes - No Lies, Just Love and see if it's close enough to mope for. *can see a Tori Amos Thread Rip happening if this continues*

It's in writing, in the 6 Degress thread....
Posted April 13, 2009 Coles Corner by Richard Hawley I'm not sure if it's really mopey enough for you, but it does it for me.
Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) I added 'Chasing Cars' because its the saddestest song EVAR But no seriously, 'Lose You' by Pete Yorn and 'On Your Porch' by The Format. I would also suggest Neko Case's 'Hold On, Hold On' if you can find a decent (heard a few live versions on my travels but not so hot on those) copy somewhere as its not on spotify. Also Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twin's 'Rabbit Fur Coat' I wasn't so sure about so listen if you want. Oh and delete if you want too, but im sure I didn't need to tell you that. AND! John Wayne Gacy, Jr. by Sufjan Stevens. Wonderful song about you're inner evil innate in us all....was there a limit on songs per person (as in per us, not per artist)? Added Mice Parade's 'Headphoneland in the School of Old' to the N-E list (anyone still use this?) as its a nice little song. Posted April 13, 2009 Whoever added that M83 remix just preempted my M83 raid! Just added it. I really like it! Their stuff is great for wallowing in self pity. Try Everything and Broken by Lifehouse too, go great with a knife or a rope.
Posted April 13, 2009 Okay, who added 'Against All Odds'? It is AWFUL! Their stuff is great for wallowing in self pity. Try Everything and Broken by Lifehouse too, go great with a knife or a rope. Totally. I'll give Lifehouse a listen.
Posted April 13, 2009 Who added Dragonfly? Not heard that song in a while...in a few years since it was on VM and I downloaded it actually. Although I wouldn't say its mopey, more mellow...apparently these are different to me.
