Guest Stefkov Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 We are blatantly gonna have to open a new thread for series 2 so that people can talk about the first without requiring spoiler tags. Roll on Septemeber 24th. Did anyone buy the dvds from America then? They've been out since August. I'll be ordering them soon. If I'm reading and seeing right, it has all the episodes in the season 1 box set. For some reason I thought it was like anime, releasing 4 episodes at a time.
gmac Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 yeah as fas as I'm aware it's the whole series, I'm waiting on my HD-DVD ones coming in

Ashley Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 But for those who are buying the HD DVD version beware: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=8023
Ashley Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Why is Hayden wearing that Heide dress? And whoever plays Nathan looks like a drag queen (...or Rufus Wainwright as he seems to have taken a fancy to leiderhosens) in the first photo.
Konfucius Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Now if this is part of an episode I can already imagine the preview. Coming up next on Heroes. In their struggle to safe the world they get tired as well and enjoy nice fresh anti-alcoholic beverage at the Oktoberfest in Germany. But things go wrong. Peter gets infected with a virus (or did he drink too much?) that forces him to look at Claire's breasts all the time while Claire believes she is Heidi from Switzerland. How will we make an interesting episode out of this? Find out on the next episode of Heroes. (The next episode will air on 22.9.)
Mokong Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I think it's 95% sure it's him, after all he's after Molly in it. He may possibly be Sylar from the future, some signs point towards the same Sylar seen in "5 years gone" however he would obviously have to have Hiros power in order to go back. Could it be possible he took the powers of future Hiro... remember he was killed just before "present Hiro" went back to the past/present and we never saw what happened in the fight between future Sylar and Peter (which i was pissed at cuz it looked like it would have been a hell of a fight which i thought we'd get in the last ep and still didn't), maybe he beat Peter, killed everyone else, ate (or what ever he does) future Hiro's brain and went back to the past before the timeline changed. Since future Hiro seems to maintain memories of an altered timeline, while everyone else was effected by the time change (ie: he remembered Sylar took Claires powers first time, when "present" Hiro went to 5 years later, future Hiro still remembered about Claire and Sylar but nobody else did as the timeline changed) it's possible that the Hiro's also exist outside of time, and when/if future Sylar took future Hiro's power he too now exists outside of time and unaffected by any changes. (did that make any sense.... messing with timelines is always confusing as all different shows/films tend to use different rules)
Ashley Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Pretencious Season Two Trailer Less pretencious season two trailer Spoilers obviously.
Platty Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Oh God the music in the first trailer made me cringe so much! However I cannot wait for the new series. Bring it on!
Dan_Dare Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 I'm proper excited about it. Prison Break the week before, too. Bring on the season!
Guest Stefkov Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 First 6 episodes on BBC2 now. I'm tempted to watch it again. Although the episodes on my HDD are better quality.
Hero-of-Time Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Pretencious Season Two Trailer I personally love the 1st trailer, watched it many times over now. My mate sent me this Heroes fan made music vid on Friday, pretty sweet and again spoilers are in it for those who havent seen the whole of the 1st series. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u6CT18g9gwg
Ashley Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Thats nicely done. The music (while understandably chosen) isn't really my thing. But as I said, nicely done, particularly the start where it echoes the opening of the episodes. But personally, I don't think I've ever seen a fanmade video which has surpassed (yes its VM but its incredible). The pacing, cutting, mirroring of Aaron and Logan and timing just blows me away.
Daft Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Isn't the new season of Heroes starting in the US today!?!
