By the sounds of things the PS3 version is a technical shambles, so if you have both machines you might be better off importing the 360 version anyway.

Not a technical shambles just apparently doesn't run at full 720p which seems odd...especially considering the PS3 was the lead platform.

I listened to the IGN podcast and they said that the flame effects when a wall burns or something that the PS3 lacks effects compared to the 360 version.

I should clarify that I'm not saying the PS3 version is worthless by any stretch of the imagination — it'll still play the same on either machine — but if you own both consoles then the 360 version is clearly the one to go for.

The Play Asia order i have is currently pending/packing as we speak. Should have it by the weekend or early next week.

May keep my GAME order active in case my mate wishes for a copy, but i may persuade him to import.

For all us North East 360 owners apparently Grainger Games are selling the US version in their stores. Its a shame I didn't know this earlier, I could have just popped down to the Metro Centre and got my copy there :(

Anyone know what the best site to import would be?

I ordered from Play-Asia. As i am a novice of importing (ok, i did import a whole DVD series in a few years back). This is the first game i've imported as such.

They seem good so far.

That's where I got mine from. The Newcastle store didn't have any though.

I thought this. It will be cheaper doing it yourself though. They will be the only chain shop with the 360 version. If I was GG I would slap £48+ on that bad boy.

It was £40 at GG which is cheaper than VGP after you add the P+P, plus no waiting for delivery :P

My friend managed to get a copy of this early, I played it and thought it was pretty good. Was wrong about what I said earlier, it is a great game in it's own right. Brought back memories for me and the gameplay doesn't look like it'll get boring because there were lots of different monsters.

Even for this though, if I owned a 360 owner I wouldn't pay £40 for it.

Who else is getting this for PS3? I got mine today, so I'll post my impressions later. It was on in the shop, and on the menu screen there is the creepy library scene music. I was like "OMG...." to the owner, and we totally geek gasm'd together.

A) I was never scared, but having re-watched it I can't see why not. Its pretty fucking terrifying!

B) On the extras of the Blu Ray, they mention that scene. Apparently they went over board/over dangerous on the pyro technics, and when she says that line she is looking directly at the cheif pyro technician! Hahah. Brilliant.

Stay Puft battle was pretty cool, I didn't expect him to appear so early for some reason. Just done the library stage, however I couldn't progress after a certain point and I'm not sure if I missed something I'm supposed to do or it bugged.

I got in from work last night and my 360 import copy had arrived, I grabbed a quick shower and played on it til 2am. I was like a little kid again when the music hit at the start and I had a huge grin on my face :D

The writing is pretty funny and there have been a few times I laughed out loud. I will say that Bill Murray doesn't seem to deliver alot of his lines with any passion or heart compared to the rest of the crew but its still fine. Rays line when Stay Puft shows up had me in stitches :)

I was pretty knackered by the end of the library stage so I called it a day. I just having some breakfast now and I will get back on it and try get another level done before I shoot off to see Transformers 2.

This game is class, so much fun. A must for any Ghostbusters fan. Although I am playing the PS3 version, which is a little rough around the edge's. Its froze on me twice and there are quite a few bugs. Also, after playing inFAMOUS for a couple of days, the graphics are a bit of a let down.

However, I can look past all that, because.....you know....its Ghostbusters!

Argh... really, really want it. Was wanting the 360 version, no real reason other than just out of preference, but there's no where near that will have an import copy other than a shop that is about an hour journey away. Would consider getting it on the PS3 but I don't know. SHouldn't really matter what console I get it on seeing as I'm a Ghostbuster fan.

Just finished the main game now and I really enjoyed it, very easy to play and quite enjoyable. I will go though various chapters to mop up the last few achievements im after.

Earlier me and my mates played on Live in the online co-op gaming mode for a few hours and it was such a laugh. One of the modes is called Survival which is like Horde mode in Gears expect with ghosts :D
