Garden_Pigeon Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I heard the commotion over the love of Mountain Dew on these forums, and I found this UK website: http://www.americansoda.co.uk/mountain-dew-p-33.html?osCsid=45da2e885df2060118c82c10458127aa 24 Cans for £16.95. They do other American foods aswell. I've been hooked on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups recently
MoogleViper Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I saw my friend from Liecester on friday and he gave us all a can. I don't know what all the fuss is about, yeah it's nice but it's nothing special.
AshMat Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Add a fiver postage onto the mountain dew garden, it costs about £21 from there, but it's where i get mine from.
Max Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 cybercandy have it 55p a can. 39.99 for 72 330ml cans http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/aaasmt/index.php/url_pmet3/xlc_2966/xdbc_100/dbtc_1/pic_1/add_44112/stc_1/scope_short#2966

Garden_Pigeon Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 Is that Code Red version any good? I'm getting some Dew for my Poker Night. Should I go with Regular or Code Red?
AshMat Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Is that Code Red version any good? I'm getting some Dew for my Poker Night. Should I go with Regular or Code Red? I've not tried Code red, but i'd go for regular all the way, from what i've heard code red isn't as good.
Garden_Pigeon Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 I've not tried Code red, but i'd go for regular all the way, from what i've heard code red isn't as good. Great, thanks.
Pit-Jr Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Of all the drinks you guys could import, why the disgusting film that is Mt. Dew? At least import something good like Cheerwine And yes Lucky Charms are amazing
arab_freak Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Seriously, I really think you guys have a fetish for Mountain Dew for the sole reason of it not being sold in the UK. We have it here, and I love the flavor. But not to the point of declaring it "the best drink ever". Its flavor gets boring after a while. You'll feel the same once you have it in your country.
Zombie_Fan Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Code Red taste good, but not as good as Mountain Dew.
scubahood Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Its all about the root beer. Anyone know where I can get wintergreen flavoured altoids in the UK? Its stupid they are bloody made in this country yet we can't get them
Meik Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 The problem with that site is that you need to pay for shipping, and taking that into account the price per can is pretty silly. The shipping is free for all orders over £100 though, and I nearly bought 6 packs to take advantage of that offer a couple of months ago. Then I came to my senses and realised that spending £100 in one go on fizzy drinks is idiotic. I'd probably die after drinking 144 cans of the stuff anyway.
Letty Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I'd probably die after drinking 144 cans of the stuff anyway. Or, you know, 10..
UziT Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I went Pakistan and they had Mountain Dew there....not bad...
Twozzok Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Relentless>all other drinks Relentless is just Red Bull in a bigger can :/
KingJoe Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Mountain dew and vodka looks like cartoon toxic waste, and tastes pretty funky.
Dyson Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Relentless is just Red Bull in a bigger can :/ It's also green. And tastes 500% better.
DiemetriX Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Sprite > All seconded. We have mountain dew in norway.. no big deal :P
laura_inthesky Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 so these websites are legit and people on here and used them with success? I've always figured I'd end up being posted some out of date cans from 10 years back but maybe now I'll give it a go btw, roughly how big is the package of 24 cans of mountain dew?
conzer16 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Have a lovely 591ml (20 oz) bottle in my bag here. (just in the door from NYC)
Jav_NE Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 I was just in the US in November, man i lapped up having Mountain Dew readily available in every convenience store. Legendary. It's all i drank iover there aside from beer i think!
Garden_Pigeon Posted January 15, 2007 Author Posted January 15, 2007 Okay I bought the 24 cans and a box of Froot Loops to see what they taste like. Next day delivery. Suweet.
