Dan_Dare Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Wahey, that looks amusing. Genuine appreciation of the property win!
Dyson Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Dunno if any of you cool people have seen this yet but it's been floating around the internet and, as a result, has introduced me to Scott Pilgrim and now I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS FILM. Although first I think I'll read the comics. So yeah - make yourself! http://www.scottpilgrimthemovie.com/avatarCreator/
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 NEW HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS TRAILER Warning: May cause sexual arousal and/or tears of joy.
D_prOdigy Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Needs more Jason Issacs, Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman, less 3D, and Alfonso Cuarón should have come back to direct. Other than that, I'm sure it'll be good.
ReZourceman Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Totally agree. Azkaban is still the only truely great one.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I know the movies will never really compare to the books, so I just take them for what they are. And as fantasy films go, they're pretty good.
Beast Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This truly looks awesome!!! Thank you! lol.
ReZourceman Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Harry Potter is the very definition of "meh". We done falsify. We done falsify.
Dan_Dare Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Harry Potter is the very definition of "meh". Seconded. I can't believe anyone is genuinely excited by this.
ReZourceman Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I can't believe anyone is genuinely excited by this. Thats what she said (to you, when looking at your penis)
Paj! Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 The Harry Potter films are always "fine". They inspire nothing, and I'm just bored to death with the whole affair. I don't think 2 seperate films was necessary for this adaptation, it just extends the thing for another year +. I think I'm more keen to see Eclipse than Deathly Hallows. And I find Twilight bloody offensive in it's shiteness.
ReZourceman Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 WTF. Deathly Hallows was a massive book brim filled with goodness. The films are pretty lack luster though. First two are shite, third is very good, fourth is "...." but did bring in quite nice design and atmosphere, which darkened and continued hence forth in the last two (the only good points though) This one should be easily the best.
Ashley Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 "The best" part of something that even you described as "lacklustre" doesn't mean you should be jumping up and down giddy with joy.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I don't see how people can't be excited about this. But thus tastes differ.
Diageo Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Harry Potter does nothing for me, especially since I'm not gonna read the fucking books ever.
Cube Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Harry Potter does nothing for me, especially since I'm not gonna read the fucking books ever. The first four books are a good read (well, they were when I read them). The rest are a bit fuzzy, but it picks up in the second half of the last one for a bit (after what seemed hours of reading nothing but Harry wondering about aimlessly).
Dan_Dare Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 That looks pretty cool. I love the red herring in the trailer. Weird that they use the music from Sunshine though- you'd think they'd avoid such a strong association with another film.
Daft Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Yeah and true. Although I am a sucker for that song (Which still isn't on Spotify FFS!!!).
Happenstance Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Yeah I love that song as well. I assume its not on Spotify yet because of all the legal crap they had trying to release the soundtrack, I heard it was finally getting released last year but still nothing.
