DTD Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Is anyone else out there having problems with the main software ? Since I got mine, I've had to pull the plug on the thing 3 times, twice because the machine locked up on trying to access the disc channel, and once because it lost all of the controllers ans I couldn't re-synch them.
Climhazzard Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 It froze on me once so i unplugged it and put it back on and its working fine, no probs really doesnt crash as much as 360 does.

AshMat Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I've sent an email to my Wii, and from my Wii. Also, i've ahd no software issues. I imagine any issues will eventually be solved through an update.
DiemetriX Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Email system works. Even with images. altough It didn't get the mails where i sent some pictures of chicks... hmm.. pornblocker?
conzer16 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I've sent an email to my Wii, and from my Wii. How do you know your Wii's email address?
DiemetriX Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 How do you know your Wii's email address? send a email to your self from your Wii. You have to do that to start sending emails. but your email Will be w[yourfriendcode]@wii.com
conzer16 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 It wont let me. Its like when you add someones Wii number and they have to add you back before you can send any messages......

KingOfHyrule Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Quick question for lucky PAL Wii owners - has anyone out there tested the 480p mode with component cables? Do the PAL games indeed run in progressive scan?
AshMat Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 It wont let me. Its like when you add someones Wii number and they have to add you back before you can send any messages...... Make sure you add your email to your address book. Then wait for a confirmation email. (check your junk mail, that's where mine appeared)
Nintendork Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Quick question for lucky PAL Wii owners - has anyone out there tested the 480p mode with component cables? Do the PAL games indeed run in progressive scan? It's like 480p/576i innit.
david.dakota Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 How long should emailing take? I've sent an email from my Wii to hotmail, and then replied to it. I've added it as a contact and sent a new mail too. but nothing is happening.
Girly hiyaz!~ Gamer Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I'm just not getting these SD cards 100%. I plan on getting some VC games and stuff, do I really need one?
Tom Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 go to messages, then address book. Flick back a page with '-' and your codew ill come up. or email your pc, and your number is in the email address.
Bluejay Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I put in my micro-SD card, waited, waited some more, and then gave up and pressed B, only for the system to lock up. Tried again, same thing. I know that the SD is in FAT, as opposed to FAT32 format. Could this be the reason? It also has lots of othing things that aren't photos. Any ideas, gentlemen? EDIT: Can GC saves be transferred to harddrive?
flameboy Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I'm just not getting these SD cards 100%. I plan on getting some VC games and stuff, do I really need one? I don't think you need one just yet, I've got one, put some photo's on it and some music did abit of slideshow fun etc... but to be honest, unless u plan to download tons of VC games, which lets face it isn't gonna happen at the moment cos they aren't that great.
DanielTimothy Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 How is playing gamecube games? You need a GC pad and memory card or can you use the internal memory and classic controler? Is it easy with the connection to the controlers being on the side?
