Ooh... wonder if it'll have support for Labo VR... It'd be a natural fit!
-
Yeah, I reckon they're gonna announce the Gen 4 remake next week. No other reason why they've hyped it up this much.

Modern day soothsayer!

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edit: Made by Namco Bandai Studios... Oh, PLEASE don't let this be a monkey's paw...

Jesus wept! They've really buggered this one up! Real shame, it could've been really good; but sadly it just misses the point of Lego, and its priced WELL out of the reach of most people. This really should've been a slam dunk easy victory; shocking how much they've missed the mark.

Well now! This looks really cool! Definitely gives me Wario Ware vibes! THIS is the inventive Nintendo I love!

Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread

There's a secret "Developer's Path" which requires you to jump in an exact position on an exact frame to spawn the objects you need to get to a Warp Door that bypasses the entire level. It's there, purely, for the sake of allowing me to upload the level; despite it being unbeatable in single player normally. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that you actually got one of them! -
Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread

BAM! As the description implies, it's a two player level that can only possibly be beaten in Local Wireless VS Multiplayer (NOT co-op, NOT single screen multiplayer and NOT online!) It's based on Four Swords Adventures... if that wasn't obvious by the title; and it borrows more than a few of its unique mechanics This level has actually been on the backburner for a LONG time; like 6 months or so! I got part-way through with making it but then gave up because I couldn't get some of the mechanics I wanted to work properly. So I ended up giving up on the idea... UNTIL NOW! Grab a friend with another Switch and another copy of the game and enjoy the next best thing to a new Four Swords Adventures game! -
Super Mario Maker 2 challenge - June challenge has started!

BTW. I also made heavy use of ELM to make my Super Koopa Bros level too (I used it to pull off the Voodoo Doll mechanic of having Mario die when the Koopa Troopa dies). I was really proud of that level! It was a bastard to make work, but I was really happy with how it turned out! (Was really sad that almost nobody here has played it... and nobody has beaten it so far). I also used it to make The Missing Mushroom Mystery too. It's really versatile! -

There are mutiple Entity Limits that you can manipulate. If you look at this page, it goes over how the different limits work. Basically, to do the trick with the pipe spawning, you need to max out Entity Limit B; then place a pipe with the object that you want to spawn. When one object from Entity Limit B is eliminated, the pipe will then spawn the object. Easiest way to achieve a working setup is to place around 95 One-Way-Doors somewhere within the area that is out of the player's view (One-Way-Doors are a rare example of a Super Globally Loaded object; these count towards the ELB limit and are always loaded no matter where the player is within the area, camera position is irrelevent here); then have 5 normal enemies (doesn't matter which), then place your pipe. ELA will only be up to 6/100, but ELB will be maxed out at 100/100; meaning that when one of the enemies are defeated, ELB goes down to 99/100 and the pipe spawns the object! There are LOADS of potential uses for ELM, but this is basically how I did the pipe trick in this month's level. -
I really don't see the point in buying a PS5 right away when it'll have pretty much nothing exclusive to play on it for the first couple of years (and its backwards compatibility is going to be woefully limited). You're basically buying a very expensive brick that won't be doing much until late 2022.

Super Mario Maker 2 challenge - June challenge has started!

Right! So I've played them both... @RedShell Good stuff. Simple and straightforward; which makes for a refreshing change of pace. Frog Mario makes everything better! Nice level, it's nice to play something more straightforward for a change @Sméagol Your level is basically the opposite of Redshell's, in that it's large, elaborate and complex. Both have some great ideas, but my vote goes to Redshell this month -

Glad you liked it! If you really want to know how I pulled off some of the tricks in this level and peek behind the magic curtain, see below... Right! Time for me to play yours and Smeagol's levels I reckon -
That's amazing! Congrats mate!

That's really cool. Love small touches like this!

I don’t think Nintendo normally send out review copies of DLC expansions; so I wouldn’t expect any reviews until after it’s release.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD - 29th October 2019
Dcubed replied to Tim B's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well we can only hope. TBH though, I don’t think that modern SEGA are capable of making a proper, good Monkey Ball game again. They’ve been trying ever since 2006 and have failed miserably each and every time. They’ve lost their key talent and the company isn’t what it once was anymore. I don’t think they can pull it off, even if they try. -
Originally I was on Team Switch Pro; figured for certain that it would happen. But now I feel that we’re too far into the Switch’s lifecycle to get a Switch Pro. If it was going to happen, it would’ve happened last year I reckon. The Switch’s successor is probably going to come out in 2023; that’s really not far away now, especially if it ends up being another March release. At this point? I think Nintendo are just going to ride it out. Besides, most games coming out between 2021-2022 will probably be cross-gen titles anyway, so the Switch’s 3rd party support should still be decent until the successor comes out in 2023; so there isn’t a huge incentive to put out a stop-gap upgrade now (especially with COVID ruining everything right now too).

Right! Here’s my masterpiece! Try not to get too wet! -
It’s from EA. It won’t be a good game.

So Spider-Man Miles is actually not really a sequel, but rather a standalone DLC? (ALA Lost Legacy/Torna). Told you all that it was a quick n’ dirty PS4 port! Well that puts a bit of a dampener on things... Guess Rachet & Clank will most likely be their big headlining launch title (not that that’s a bad thing, it looks pretty great!)
-
Yes. Any game that doesn’t rely on hidden hands works just fine using one Switch for multiplayer.
-
Yeah, it's much bigger than I thought it would be... Mockup made by comparing BD Drive size This thing is a PC tower! Hopefully that means that it won't sound like a jet engine this time at least...

Nope. I'm just expecting Square-Enix to pull a Square-Enix. This is SO going the way of Agni's Philosophy and FF 13 Versus. Likewise, Pragmata has Deep Down written all over it... (And if it makes you feel any better, Capcom have already announced that Pragmata is coming to Series X and PC as well as PS5; so it won't be a loss for Sony really when it inevitably kicks the bucket )
