OMG! Stat boosting items are insane in this game! Boots increase unit spaces by FOUR!? Why yes! My Knight Draug can now move as many spaces as my Pegasus Knight! Power Ring/Speed Ring increases by SIX you say!? Why yes! Caeda is now no longer deadweight, but is, instead, an unstoppable killing machine! It’s so broken. I love it!

Kind of funny you still feel that way considering that half of the series was (until recently) exclusive to Nintendo platforms. It’s still really stupid that they haven’t ported the HD remasters onto Switch yet (hell, even KH3 is very possible; going by DQ11’s successful transition). Hell, even Xbox has them all! Hopefully it happens now that we have MoM on Switch.

I think that Intelligent Systems would be better off ditching the turn based battles entirely with the next game and instead moving fully into real-time combat; expanding on what they started with the Paper Macho battles. That’s what I reckon they’re gonna do going forward. They’re going to turn Paper Mario into classic Zelda (pre-BOTW). They’re already shockingly close now at this point, might as well go the whole way!

That's more time spent playing Switch than I thought TBH. Surprised to not see Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & The Blade of Light on the most played games list! (Though I'm not suprised that SMM2 is top of the list; pretty sure half of my entire playtime was on that one game!). Considering that I've mostly been playing retro games this year? That's a lot more than what I was expecting!

Wahey! Congrats! The Switch is an embarrassment of riches for anyone that didn’t own a Wii U. My advice would be to start with getting all of the Wii U ports, such as Bayonetta 1&2, Captain Toad and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. Then move on to getting the rest of Nintendo’s first party titles (especially Luigi’s Mansion 3; that’s the best one!)

Yeah, the standard battles are shite, there's no real way to sugar coat it. Boss battles and everything surrounding them are absolutely A-grade though. Personally, I didn't think the first two chapters were particularily amazing; but the latter chapters are a lot better. If you're enjoying the first two chapters though? You're gonna love the latter three!

Fair enough. Still, that was a really good time for a casual run! (Even considering the difference between In-Game-Time and Real Time; that's still really impressive!). Congrats regardless!

Looks fantastic! I love how they’ve sprinkled little mini games & secrets to find around the park! Also props to them being consistent with basing the park specifically on Super Mario 3D World

Wow! Good on Sony & Microsoft here for doing right by their customers (I mean, they should never have approved the release in the first place, but credit where credit is due here). Good on ‘em!
