  1. Seems that Cape Claw is as far as you can get in this build without hacking? From what I’ve seen of this build, it is a VERY different game from the final GCN version. The level design is completely different, the game & event structure is totally different as well. Outside of a few set pieces & minigames (like the speeder bike chase & the Shop), and the overall basic setting? basically everything is different! Krystal & Sabre are both playable and you swap between the two throughout the game! Sabre has Tricky (who is generally similar to his SFA counterpart); while Krystal has her own partner (who is a pterodactyl). So yeah, this game REALLY changed drastically when it was moved over to the Cube!
  2. Rare still have their in-development builds of Twelve Tales... They also have various builds of Project Dream (SNES and N64) and Banjo Kazooie floating around in their offices... On that matter... Capcom (amazingly enough!) still have the N64 build of Resident Evil Zero! So leaks of all of these are very possible one day!
  3. OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!! THE HOLY GRAIL HAS LEAKED!! I can't believe that Fox was actually added into the game before it got ported to GCN!!! BTW: I can confirm that it DOES indeed run on real hardware via an Everdrive (requires Expansion Pak though - making it one of only 4 N64 games to ever need one).
  4. https://www.ifixit.com/News/48944/heres-why-ps5-joysticks-drift-and-why-theyll-only-get-worse Seems like the DS5 suffers from a very similar design fault as the Switch Joy-Cons... Sony would do well to nip this in the bud now, before it becomes an unsalvagable problem like on Switch... Also. Can we just collectively go back to having Gamecube style control sticks for everyone please? (I mean, Nintendo are still manufacturing them, and they're just as good as their original 2002 counterparts; so it's far from impossible!)
  5. Oh yeah, I watched it a few months back. It was alright; nothing too amazing or really revelatory (and very dramatised; just like the book), but a decent watch nonetheless. The best part was seeing Howard Phillips, Peter Main and Howard Lincoln again! It's Been 3,000 Years indeed; and it was really nice to see some old favourite faces again after SO many years, even if only briefly
  6. Thanks for this. I absolutely hate browsing the Switch eShop for sales; it's an absolutely miserable experience. That price for the Castlevania Collection is absolutely insane! If you haven't already bought it? Do so immediately! Surprised to see Melody of Memory on sale! It came out really not that long ago! Me thinks it's time to snap it up. Burnout Paradise is also finally the price it should've been sold at originally.
  7. If anything? I'm more annoyed that Wario is always represented by the WarioWare series and not the actual Wario Land games! Like... COME ON!! At least give us the bloody Shoulder Barge; you know, his key characteristic move! That's something I really like about the Smash Remix N64 mod; it pays proper tribute to the Wario Land side of Wario
  8. Those are some very Konami-esc items alright!
  9. Looks a bit dramatised and very "American" (for lack of a better term); but if they've got Howard Phillips, Ron Judy, Perrin Kaplan, Phil Spencer and Reggie on board? I'm watching
  10. Switch version is very surprising. Hopefully they don't bugger this remaster up!
  11. The tech is absolutely there if Nintendo want to put out a hybrid system in 2023 that can trade blows with an Xbox Series S (and even outperform it in some areas; especially Raytracing). The problem is that Nintendo needs to want it; and they need to leave NVidia’s engineers alone & just let them make the Switch 2’s SOC without meddling. That is, unfortunately, a BIG if.
  12. In terms of motion controls? The Switch version should be just as good, if not a bit better than the Wii original (60 FPS will definitely make it feel better). Stick drift is absolutely going to ruin the game if they have it enabled where you can’t turn the button controls off though.
  13. It drives me absolutely batty that they’re not willing to take the same chance with Advance Wars! Especially given the strategy genre’s newfound popularity! AW was always bigger than FE in the west (though certainly not in Japan). Like... COME ON!!
  14. So go take a nap and THEN fire ze missiles!
  15. Yeah, but they’re all dedicated RPGs. Mario Golf SR is (shock of all shocks!) a Golf game first and foremost. It’s unreasonable to make what is (essentially) two original HD games in one; especially for a small scale developer like Camelot. Back in the GBC & GBA era? That was a lot more feasible, but now? Unless you have a team of hundreds, a AAA budget and are working on it for 4-6 years? That’s just not gonna happen.
  16. I’ve never played either, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that The Girl Who Stands Behind is the second game?
  17. Nope. You still did it wrong and I won't hear it otherwise
  18. Nice to see S-E finally delving into their PS1 catelogue and are finally allowing the forbidden streams to cross Not my most wanted game, but welcome to see anyway. Lets get more classic titles up on Switch now (and not the horrible, disgraceful mobile versions of FF1-6!)
  19. This is true. Release order, always. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
  20. Not really true in Kirby's case. Gamecube didn't get a mainline Kirby game at all (sorry Kirby's Air Ride) and N64 only just barely got a Kirby game (sorry Kirby's Air Ride!); and Wii U only got a spinoff (It's own mainline game was robbed by Switch; yes I'm talking to you Star Allies!). It's only really within the last 10 years that Kirby has come roaring back to life; there was a long period of time where Kirby lived a bit of a limbo existence, surviving on spinoffs and remakes (as well as outsourced games from Flagship). Switch is also very likely to be the first Nintendo console to never get an original exclusive Donkey Kong game; not even an original spinoff! (a claim that even every Nintendo handheld can make!)
  21. Don't expect the Story mode to be anywhere near as extensive as the GBC/A games. It'll most likely be a fleshed out version of the Castle Club mode from MGWT on 3DS. A full scale MG RPG is just impossible in the world of HD development.
  22. If you like Summoning Salt’s channel (and I don’t blame you if you do!), I’d recommend AverageTreyVG, Bismuth and EZScape. They’re a bit more specialist (and a bit more technical), but I reckon you’ll like what they put out
  23. Probably the closest we’re getting to Weird Mario in Smash...
  24. Fixed that for you... See! It’s totally different! Totally not the same thing!
  25. Skyward Sword HD has Amiibo support! (As listed on the eShop page). Dunno what it does though...
