they're not fun, they're annoying and shit and their sound is weaker than a nun's libido. A couple of their songs could be alright if they had balls, but neither the mix or their vocalist appears to have discovered a pair. as for the arctic monkeys, I'm not a big fan but Alex Turner does have a knack for that little twist to his lyrics that actually makes them good.

British indie is such a pile of derivative shit. there's a difference between capturing the essence of normal life and infusing it in to a good lyric (stand up Jarvis Cocker and Alex Turner) and simply writing shit songs about real life with the rhyme scheme you learned in primary school (stand up The Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, Hard Fi, Every Fucking Band Who Would Willingly Take It Anally From Doherty). Sadly, the british public, in their wisdom, have decided to endorse the latter. I don't know why. Is there anyone left? Are you out there? lets go form a refuge and escape from these fucking dolts and teach our offspring poetry and language, and nothing about kebab shops. ps. Klaxons suck dick and need to be punched in the eye, but for different reasons.

spiderman 2, I believe. since then we've had superman and batman though, so comic movies aren't in bad shape all the time. this looks kinda cool though. could be pretty hot.

I know, I know. Thing is, every time I think I'm over it, I just put Mirrored on again and it melts my face, then i run here squealing about how good it is while I try and stop listening to it all day every day again. it could be worse though. just imagine if someone spent post after post trying to justify the artistic credability of Avril Lavigne or something! that'd be ridiculous! lol shit stir. Hope they see this post!

Hope you like it as you can tell, I have a soft spot for it. Heath Ledger's performance is incredible. He reduced me to a blubbering wreck with little more than a single motion and a phrase at the end of the film. Only time I've ever cried at a film.

it's one of the best films I've ever seen. It's goddamn amazing. Not so much about homosexuality as it is about the crushing weight of society on the repressed forced to conform. It's utterly mindblowingly astute and observed character cinema.
