See, I find Tekken akin to playing with mittens on, while horribly drunk. Everything moves so slowly and stiff, and it's basically a 2d fighter, only shinier. SCII on the other hand is like playing liquid silk. Everything is so fast and natural it plays amazingly. True, it has a certain degree of constraints, but like all the best games, it's the rules that provide the pressure to create great gameplay. Ikaruga is a good example...

American Psycho was on last night. Damn that film is hilarious. I was all a chuckle for most of the proceedings. Cept the murders. they're less funny.

Been digging The Dears again today. They really are amazing. Also on the recent: Springsteen's Born To Run album is fantastic. Really tight thematic piece, with some crackin tunes. Marvin Gaye has also been making something of a comeback on my pc of late: my re-steal of my dad's Let's Get It On has been much appreciated. I also have the brilliant What's Going On?. I'd also like to announce that I've finally got in to The Dark Side of The Moon, after untold years of generally wondering why the fuck people find Pink Floyd interesting. Turns out they're actually worth spending ear time with, afterall. Finally, Performance's album (We Are) Performance is out Tomorrow. Unfortunately, you have to buy a copy online or get your arse to a gig to get one of the fairly limited release.

Saw Blade Runner recently. Despite a poor narrative pace and fairly confusing progression, it's truly an ace film. Incredibly shot and directed, and dealing with fairly heavy weight issues, it remains a benchmark in nior sci fi. Ace stuff 10 androids out of sheep.

Agreed. Even Superman, for all his Messiah-a-like connotations is not openly religious. ohh, got one actually. Nightcrawler is an ordained Catholic Priest. Only example I can think of.
