that's a strange restriction. surely it matters not if you have epilepsy with regards to blood? anyway, my theory is that my organs are for the taking should they help save a life. Frankly, I find the notion of refusing that chance an inhumanly callous thing to do. In some cases, you may as well be walking up to some poor kid and putting a bullet in their head. -

I think their best track has to be 'She's Gone'. It might have been from '74, but it's utterly amazing stuff. Perfect world weary sing along material. That or 'Sara Smile'. Man, seeing them live was like...the highpoint of my life. I'd argue them as technically being a 70's band, with Curtis' suicide coming in, I think, 1980. All their material was written before then, and certainly came before the 'Miami Vice' Americanism associated with synth pop et al. oh, and they're not that depressing. Only people who don't really listen to them say that with conviction.

righty ho! As of monday, all final year uni marks were out, and today sees non finalists get theirs. Thought I'd make a thread for it! Schoolies can add to the fun later. I got my 2nd year results today! Hurraah! got a 2:1 overall, with all but one grade above 63, which was a respectable 57. bit of a shame but my 69 in another module is more than compensation. how'd you folk do?

I ever tell you guys I saw Dilinger Escape Plan live? totally went over my head at the time, but in retrospect: 43% Burned is a fucking work of genius. Dunno if I can really handle them much though. I prefer my insanely complex music to be made on a moog :P

Shipman must count though. I mean, he killed a horrific number of people, and he looked as if he felt absolutely nothing. You know that footage of him leaving the car in a body warmer? he looks plain as day, but there's a man who might have killed 100 people. how fucking strange is that?
