That'd be cool. Not really digging the last set of reveals but if anyone had told me back in the day that hardball, komodo, cloud 9 or 3D Man could form the basis for a compelling character ensemble based on design sketches or whatever, I'd have called them a crack smoking hobo motherfucker. I'd have been deeply wrong. and don't get me started on Johnny Guitar. Gage is the tits at this job, so he can use, invent, fabricate and press gang absolutely anyone in the MU and can probably form a pretty solid drama. Looking forward to this series almost as much as the 'main' titles.

OMD was so shit. Personally, I think it's high time Spider-Man gets his shit together and starts growing out of all the pubescent awkwardness they seem intent on inflicting on him constantly. seriously, how did they go from Stark employee to shitty photographer again? AARGH! Hopefully, Heroic Age Avengers get a paycheck. Maybe then we can cut the crap and have him in the big leagues where he belongs.

Oh, such a film! The more I see, the more in awe I am of French Cinema. Unafraid to take their time and just work on a scene or a moment, their films come away feeling so rich and potent. This is a particularly good example- fraught with emotion and intensity, it's a gripping thriller about a doctor who's wife is murdered one night and eight years later emails him, just as the police begin to investigate the case again. It's just absolutely amazing start to finish. I really haven't seen a film this good since...I dunno, years. French/10

The irony of FF games are, of course, that any notion of 'role play' is superficial at best. There's no ability to influence character choice, motivation, actions or even direction in any of the games in the series. They're actually as much RPGs as, say, Gears of War. They just take longer.

Out of curiosity, did you read the review? They mention it takes a good twenty five hours to get good, and even then the story is underwhelming. sounds perfectly justified to me.

It's just generally by far the best shooter imo. Campaign, like you say, wipes the floor with the likes of COD and multiplayer is so far ahead of the pack that nobody even tries to keep up anymore. It's absolutely amazing.

Presumably when #1 drops! they've not even solicited cover art or anything so it looks like they'll be keeping it secret the whole way. Kinda dig the idea, personally. I'll definitely be reading, so I'm happy to be surprised for once. The problem with being a web savvy comic fan these days is that genuine surprises are hard to come by.

Na he'll just be pulling 'the wolverine' and doing 2 teams at once. He's a great character, but it bothers me that every member of NA so far has either super strength or some form of invulnerability. Kinda bullshitty.
