I really like these screenshots from that IGN article I have to say, I couldn't care any less about the characters or the story for GTA V. All I am looking forward to is having that big detailed open world to mess around in.

For some reason I can vividly remember all of the games I played when I was younger but not games I have played as recently as a couple of years ago. For example I remember everything about GTA Vice City, but almost nothing about GTAIV missions. I switched on Super Mario World recently for the first time in years and I remember the stages as if I had only played them a day before. Meanwhile, when I played New Super Mario Bros U recently, which I only completed at the start of this year, it felt like I'd never seen half the stages before.

Just fired up my SNES after 15 years...

haha Nice. I hooked up my NES around a month ago to play DuckTales. Stills works and so do all of my games, which is awesome because the console itself was bought in 1987 -

Nice work@RedShell, that was great. Easily better then anything I've seen advertising the Wii U so far.

Playing through the game on Hard or Extreme is also great for getting cash, as two of the secret heart containers are replaced with the hidden treassures that were in the original game. Also try and get the bonus stage to show up if you can, I think your cash/score must have a 7 in it before you start a level for it to show up. Really could not have put it better. DuckTales was probably my most played game as a kid, and Remastered just seems like the perfect celebration of what was aready a great game.

Yeah I absolutely love this music. Is it just me or is there a subtle bit on the Moon theme in there? Speaking of the moon theme, there is a very nice piano version of the tune in the game too.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion

Yeah one of the great things of this generation has been the rise of the indie developer. We've had so many great games come out of small independent teams and some of the better games of this generation too. -

Yeah I feel that its a lazy misinformed generalisation that gets thrown around so often now and it simply isn't true. -

Good question, one of them is probably supposed to be DS Edit - or did they separate the old style 3DS to the 3D XL -

OK, Can't speak for the console versions but the PC version on Steam just got an update that fixes the issue with the Pogo jump move I mentioned a few posts up.

It is great hearing the dialog again, however I've now played through this game several times and I think they should have had the option to turn off cutscenes. I like them but I don't always want to watch them when I replay a level. Side note, people have found a strange secret..or something that was accidentally left in by the developers. If you hit the space bar on the screen that shows up after defeating a boss that normally reads "Stage Clear" it changes to this:

well damn, then they screwed up. I was definitely taking damage at times for no fault of my own. I'd assumed it was my slightly worse for wear d-pad on my controller...plus the fact its a 360 d-pad in the first place that was the problem. I'd imagine of the harder difficulties it would be very frustrating. Hopefully they patch it.

I just played through the whole game (PC version) and had a blast, it plays like the original so as long as that is what you are looking for; which is an updated version of the original game, then you shouldn't be disappointed. It really felt like a lot of care and attention went into this, the animations on the characters are really well done, the remixed music sounds great and I really enjoyed some of the dialog the characters come out with. It was like a new episode of Duck Tales. Hearing these characters talk again for the first time in decades and with their original voices is just so awesome. Heres a few pictures I took The only thing I didn't like was the that controls didn't feel quite the same as the original. A few times when I was trying to attack with the Pogo move, it wouldn't work sometimes. I think this is down to me using a 360 controller though, the d-pad isn't quite as responsive as I'd like.

Just been looking through some of the reviews, one review says the game is too hard where as the other one says its too easy. I'm still getting it, I've been playing through the original the last week or so and it still holds up so if this is anything like the original I'll enjoy it. Edit - Actually i'm disapointed by this: From the Gamesradar review.

When is the multiplayer trailer due?

I think they are unnecessary, if someone really enjoys a demo they will go on to buy the full game. The Just cause 2 demo is a good example of how pointless it is, they limited it to 25 minutes but there was nothing stopping you from reloading the game right away and playing it again.
