Whaaaat!? This is News to me!

Well whatever he announces, at least Nintendo will have some kind of presence at the show. Last year they didn't have any, which was very surprising considering they had just launched a new console.

My favourite level so far is Hands-On Hall, the Japanese dojo style level.

Yeah this is very important to remember. Before the Wii went on sale, Iwata said that if the Wii didn't out sell the Gamecube then he would see it as a failure. That was about the Wii, so I can't imagine Nintendo will be pleased with the Wii U's current sales in the slightest.

I'm surprised to see Adventure time so high on that list.

I don't think the Wii U is dead yet, I want to see what Mario 3D world does first along with the marketing push before I would fully declare it over. And then there's Mario Kart too. But yeah, i never subscribed to the idea that consumers would not buy the PS4 or Xbox One, and that those consoles would get sale numbers like the Wii U.

That really is insane.

I really enjoyed 'An Adventure in Space and Time' on BBC 2 just now.

No and not a word from Nintendo about it either. I kinda wish they would say whether the thing will ever get launched or not rather then have a "coming soon" message on the website. I mean the consoles been out a year now, it should at least the have BBC iplayer at this point.

I really like that they went with non-stop gameplay for the whole commercial instead of having something like a staged family in a living room playing it, which is what I had assumed they would do as a way to show the multiplayer.

I bought my own Wii U this week thanks to that deal on Play.com ( £200 for a Premium Wii U with NSMBU and the Luigi DLC).

I guess you're right but I'm still surprised. Sure after Mario there isn't a great deal of games but I assumed Mario & Sonic 2014 and Taiko no Tatsujin being around the corner would help shift units a little. Plus for first time Wii U owners, there is a little library of games to pick up that would fill up until the next big release.

I don't know about that... I mean it was stocked online at Amazon and other sites, so its hard to believe that there where a ton of people looking to buy it and because it wasn't in GAME just gave up on the purchase.

Yeah I think I took even less time to finish New Super Mario Bros Wii but I was nowhere near finished doing everything the game had to offer, from finding ALL secret levels and coins etc. Similar story for Mario Galaxy.
