I loved every section of that Direct. So many games in 40 minutes and some very cool surprises, like Breath of the Wild 2. Also that Banjo Smash reveal trailer was fantastic

Genuinely angry over the PC version going to Epic over Steam.

I was going to say the same thing. I have to assume a lot of these people cheering are plants/actors? Or at least I hope so...

I have a few friends I've kept in contact with that I originally became friends with back on PSO on the gamcube, and its a been a running joke among us each year to say a western release of PSO 2 will get announced at E3 since Sega said they were gonna do a western release all the way back in 2012. And it actually happened this time! I was genuinely shocked. I'm hoping this comes to the Switch, which I assume it will since the Japanese eshop already has it. I played the Japanese version for a while years back and enjoyed it.

The Ghostbuster's Fanfest in LA had had a small conference panel about this game, apparently it will ship without the online mode but it will be added in via a patch at a later date. However, it will be rebuilt from the ground up, which is something I wasn't expecting at all.

I've not played Rocket League in a couple of years but I love that trailer so much.

This months games: City Connection, Double Dragon 2 and Volleyball

Pretty cool, I've played through this game a few times, both on Xbox 360 and Steam because I enjoy it so much. Annoyingly, this release will be exclusive to Epics Store for the PC version this time and not on steam, so I'll probably get it for Switch. I'd be interested to see if they did more then just raise the resolution and if they actually added anything to it. For example the game was originally going to have a level set during a thanksgivings parade, which was mostly complete from what I understand. If you root around the PC versions files you can hear all the audio they got Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd etc that they recorded all the audio for. Also the 360/PS3 game had an online mode, which admittedly wasn't that great but it would be nice if that was in this version.

The Mario Odyssey VR update is playable without the Labo VR headset (there's an option to play without it). You have to play in handheld mode, moving the switch about to look around the stage. Its pretty short, with three NPC's in each stage wanting you to find musical instruments for them and as an extra you can find 100 coins as well. Your reward is to watch Pauline sing on stage:

I caught it this morning, really enjoyed it but I think I enjoyed Infinity War more.
