Especially the subtle use of the original score as they play Venkmans "Call it fate, call it luck..." line being played. I honestly can't wait.

It looks like this game just got some kind of update. There’s a ton of new icons to unlock, a ‘team battle’ mode and the ability to create/join password games. Edit- There is also an upcoming Event to win 999 gold points. Looks like it takes place in Team Battle. Also it seems you can get old themes that were originally only available at past events, for 30 points

Edit - Just beat me to it! Loved seeing some of the old stuff in the trailer, like the proton pack: And hearing Venkman's infamous "Call it fate, call it Kharma..." line being said while some of the score from the original movie kicked in was just wonderful.

I saw this mentioned on reddit: Some people feel that Contra might not hit the app in the future now that the game is part of the Konami Contra Collection, which is sold on the eshop, but its worth mentioning that Crystalis which is being added to the NES app is also available separately on the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.

I’m Disappointed we’re not getting at least One Donkey Kong Country game for Christmas, since the first game is 25 years old this year.

I finally unlocked the 'revive 20 teammates' achievement. I found out if you play the 5 Floors mode on Scarescraper, players faint more often as its mostly people playing for their first time. Which means I got the Gold Protonpack Polstergust So that's pretty much everything done outside of getting that last rare ghost to fill the gallery. I've enjoyed this game so much, lots of charm as people have already said, nice well made little puzzles and some pretty great boss fights. The negative things I take away from this game are that, single player mode is perhaps too short. I had completed the game in around 12 hours total and I think someone that timer is from playing online. And there is very little to do after the game is done. I was a little disappointed by some of the later floors in Story Mode. One of them was basically just a hallway leading to a boss. With that one in particular, I was looking forward to it because it looks different to the rest of the hotel when they show you an external shot of the place. So that was quite a disappointment. I like all of the boss fights, even the B2 boss didn't give me much trouble. However, I strongly disliked the very final Boss fight because I found it very boring to get through. I felt like I was just standing around for minutes, waiting for him to go through the motions before I am allowed to attack him. I honestly think the only reason I died on him is because I was so fed up of having to wait around, that my mind just lost concentration and I ended up getting hit by something easily avoided. It's a shame because the boss battle before him with Helen Gravely is great, and with makes really good use of Gooigi and pretty much everything you have at your disposal. I think she would have made a better final boss. Scarescraper/Online mode really could have been better then it is. I feel like the biggest challenge of it is getting everyone to stand on that one platform to open a door lol. Overall, I think its a very enjoyable game and I'm glad I bought it. I'm crossing my fingers that they will add some more stuff to this game with updates. They have online dlc planned but I'd much rather get some new single player stuff for it.

I'm missing one Rare ghost from online who just doesn't seem to want to show up. I must have played Scarescraper mode over 10 hours in total at this point and whatever the third rare ghost is simply never appears.

Also a couple of new 3DS theme's up there to purchase for 100 platinum each.

I've seen people doing this but I just assumed they were being greedy. It didn't dawn on me that was their motive lol It's like you said though, it's tough to get because the average player is good now. plus the mode isn't that hard to begin with and gives the player hearts all the time anyway. One annoying thing happened while playing last night:

Congrats. I am pretty close to getting all achievements as well. I'm down to the online specific ones of getting 40 rare ghosts, defeating the end boss 20 times and reviving other players 20 times. It is a grind, but on the plus side the average team is now more then capable to make to the end boss then the average team was before. One annoying thing that seems to happen a lot now though, is that players will quit after completing floor 5, because they are only going for the 'Capture a total of 40 rare ghosts' achievement and don't want to play through to the end. I can't blame them I guess but is annoying. I really wish there was an alternative way of getting rare ghosts. Like a separate special mode or have them show up in single player. How easy was it for you to get the 'Revive teammates a total of 20 times' achievement? I've played through 100 floors and the last time anyone fainted and needed a revive while I was playing was over a week ago lol On a side note, supposedly this game will have paid DLC for Scarecraper and Scraeampark mode in the future, according to the official site for this game:
