Same here with not being able to decide on what kind of bridges. However, the river that goes across my island has generated in such a way that there are almost no places I can set a bridge outside of a couple of spots that are useless, but I've actually found this problem a good thing because I already can't decide which kind of bridges I'd use once I can reshape the land with terraforming. Speaking of which, apparently KK Slider will show up tomorrow so I should unlock terraforming soon.

Miiverse archive sharing! (Share your post history while you still can!)
Helmsly replied to Dcubed's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Same. I've mentioned this before but Miiverse was at its best when it was integrated directly into a game, such as the comments popping up in levels in Mario Maker, the graffiti in Splatoon, people helping each other out in Mario 3D World, or finding messages in tingle bottles from other players in Wind Waker HD. I am still surprised they didn't continue Miiverse in some way for the switch, it would have added value to the service and loads of games would have benefited from it. Its a shame. -
Nintendo Japan has launched a Customization Program on their site where you can choose what colour Joycons you get with your Switch bundle, among a few other things: https://store.nintendo.co.jp/customize.html Would be interesting if this option showed up in Europe and America

I finally got hourly music in Animal crossing the other day and the 5pm is my favorite that I've heard so far: 12pm is also pretty great too:

I can't wait to unlock terraforming, my island has generated in such a way that there are only three spots I can create bridges at, which are not of any great use outside of one spot lol

understandably, a whole bunch of Sony movies that were due this summer have been moved to 2021: https://variety.com/2020/film/news/morbius-ghostbusters-afterlife-uncharted-pushed-back-2021-sony-1203549616/

I have such weird memories of when Sunshine came out. I was 21, living in my basement flat and my neighbor that lived in the flat above had recently decided to move out without paying his rent to his landlord and had also decided to turn on all the taps in his kitchen and bathroom before he left, as some sort of "revenge". Not sure for what exactly. So midway through playing Mario Sunshine, a game that has you spraying water around everywhere, I had water pouring through the ceiling.

yeah fish bait helps a lot. I managed to catch Sturgeon fish with it today: I found that if you see a small fish that obviously isn't the one you are looking for, don't bother catching it instead just throw more bait and keep doing it until the large fish shows up. I was really lucky with the Stringfish though,he just happened to be there.

I think you're right. If there is any truth to this story then I think its likely to be what you said. Nintendo already have released a HD version of Mario Galaxy 1 on the Nvidia Shield in China, so they can simply port that version to the Switch and like you said, they would likely share the effort as far as development goes, so I have to assume a HD version Galaxy 2 done too. Mario 3D World would just be an Wii U port with a couple of extras thrown in much like Tropical Freeze an the other Wii U games on switch. I could see Sunshine possibly being a full remake like Wind Waker HD. As for Mario 64, I personally would love a remake of it but I think there is a chance it's just a port of the N64 game that ushers in N64 games on Switch.

One week on and I’ve only just found out it you tap A while crafting, you make stuff faster. Also you can pick up your mailbox and place it anywhere on the island. If you ever wanted to do that.

My local Lidl has started putting security at the doors and only letting 5 people in at a time, as well as limiting the number of each item you can buy. This has been a huge help as I can actually get buy stuff like Bread, Milk and Eggs just like in the olden days. -
wow! Out of nowhere

I’m starting to see that the museum fills up with a few other things as you add more to it. For example the room furthest right in the aquarium has a little roped off section near the tank that holds the coelacanth. Originally there was nothing there, now it’s got a mini submarine and a mannequin dressed in old school scuba gear. Also, in the fossil section, there are some blue circles on the ground which change the camera when you step on them and shows you something, such as a meteorite on the ceiling.

oh man this game has

Apparently there is also a trash island, where every fish turns out to be trash when you catch it lol In other news, I only just found out you can run in this game by holding B

I also unlocked the museum today and donated all the fish and bugs that I'd been hoarding since Blathers stopped taking donations. I have to say, the Museum looks amazing this time. Each section is so well made designed with stuff like being able to walk through a tunnel in the aquarium area or compare your characters height next to the larger Dinosaur fossils. However I noticed there isn't an Art gallery section this time around like there was in New Leaf. Hopefully that gets added later or maybe Nintendo add something extra sections in the future. I remember in New Leaf you could unlock four empty rooms at the top where you could basically create your own exhibits. I created a little Zelda themed one on that game which I would love to remake in this one, if there are any Nintendo items this time around: ^Old picture from AC New Leaf I really like the changes they've made to the series with New Horizons. Its different enough for it to feel like a fresh experience but also familiar enough that it still feels like an AC game, which is the perfect mix for me. I also really like the QoL features I've seen so far. They are mostly simple things that truthfully should have been in the series years ago, but its good that they are finally here and I think they work well.

Looking forward to the Museum being built so I can donate those bugs to it. I'll post my FC, but as I do not currently have NSO its kinda pointless at the moment. SW-7441-4734-3710 Town Name: Parakeet Fruit: Cherries -

Same. Went to my local Lidl twice today and all the things you mentioned are sold out here too as well as all Frozen food. There's nothing left. Local Tesco express was also empty of basic things. -
It's pretty crazy the things you can place around the island. Like the large mech and Godzilla type creature in this video^ As for Island names, I can't think up anything original so I just look through the names of levels and places in other games. Like any of the 1000's of named locations named in Breath of the Wild, for example or level names from one of the Mario games.

I have to assume the trailers and gameplay videos for all these games will still come out in June.
