Out of curiosity, do any of you think the Switch will get a first party title from Nintendo before the end of the year that isn't a port of some kind? Generally by this time of year in the past, we would have a good idea of what will be out before Christmas. Things are obviously different now with the effects of Covid slowing down development of everything, but with with Nintendo doing things such as announcing Paper Mario just two months before release back in May, I wonder if something like that will happen again before the year is out. I won't be buying Pikimin 3 or Super Mario 3D world (if that gets announced). I am unsure about Skyward Sword also as my Wii U is still set up and I can play my Wii copy on that. I'd like to think we have something else to look forward to before next year outside of Pokemon Snap (which I am looking forward to).

Yeah I think you're right. I enjoy these ideas and there are a lot of them I really like but I think with this one I wouldn't actually want half of the implemented. Such and Terraforming when people are over. I do love how well made his videos are though. I noticed this during the video:

I'm glad these games get a second lease of life but as someone that owns a Wii U, there is very little incentive for me to purchase it again. Especially when I still have my Wii U set up, and it doesn't even feel that long ago that I was playing it. I was kinda hoping back when this this game was just a rumour, that it would turn out to be a Pikmin Collection, with remasters of 1 and 2 thrown in with Pikmin 3. Maybe even that 3DS pikmin game on there too. As extras they would of had those little mini-movies that Myaomoto produced back when the Wii U version of 3 was released.

For anyone that missed some of the previous themes that have come up on Tetris 99, they’re currently giving people another chance to unlock them. Right now the Animal crossing theme event is on, which is running until Monday. Then it will change to the Luigis mansion 3 theme until Thursday and finally the Ring Fit Theme

I’m glad this game gets a new lease of life on a console with a larger user base. I’ve still got my copy and my Wii U set up so I doubt I’ll buy it myself. Here are the new features added to the switch version of the game: Not enough for me to double dip but pretty good overall. I would rather this has been a Pikmin collection with all three titles in one.

I am really enjoying this game but I am not a fan of the battles. I just find the puzzles beforehand a nuisance and can’t wait for them to be over. I feel the total oppersite for the boss battles though which I really like. Story wise i really like it, not as much as TTYD but it’s been great so far. I just got done with chapter 3 and I honestly never expected *that* to happen, it was nicely done as well as being pretty sad.

Its very interesting to see all of this stuff. We've always known Nintendo archive pretty much everything including all the beta stuff, but we rarely get to see it outside of little snippets in Iwata Asks interviews. A lot of what's come out the past day or so has been things I've wanted to see for close to two decades, so this is all pretty amazing. One of my favorite things so far out of this, aside from seeing all the unused sprites and textures from these games, has been hearing the uncompressed audio from games like Star Fox 64:

I second this. My router is in the same room as my switch and it still has issues with the switch WiFi. I got one of those usb dongles a few years back and it’s significantly better with a wired connection.

Rocket League is going to be Free to play: Sadly it’s being delisted from Steam, although people that already own it like myself will still get our copies updated with whatever they add to it.
