If I get any more stuff I should be able to post it to you in the future, now that I've visited your island once I believe it unlocks the feature for me to send you mail with a present

The Nintendo Switch is 5 years old day

I used to watch Neighbors after school in the late 80's and all through the 90's but like a few others mentioned, I've not watched it in at least 15 years now. I am surprised it is being canceled if it brings in a million viewers though.

I have a 'Proper painting' I can send to you, but I am not sure what the name of your character or your island to post it to. I am pretty sure I have sent stuff to you in the past but if not I'll have to fly to yours to drop it off sometime

3DS and Wii U eShop purchases to end March 2023
Helmsly replied to Helmsly's topic in Nintendo Gaming
my stats: I loved the Wii U but it seems I'd use it more as a way to watch netflix & amazon prime then anything else -
I wasn't sure if I should make a thread about this since it's only Nintendo America that is announcing this right now, but I have to assume that the EU eShop will follow https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/57847 How long will it still be possible to redownload previously purchased content in Nintendo eShop for Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems? How long will those systems still support online play? For the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. There are still Nintendo eShop Cards at retailers that show the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS logos. What will happen to them? These cards will continue to be at retail while supplies last. All Nintendo eShop Cards can be used to add funds to a Nintendo Account balance for use on the Nintendo Switch This can be done via Nintendo eShop on the system itself. Once it is no longer possible to purchase software in Nintendo eShop on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, many classic games for past platforms will cease to be available for purchase anywhere. Will you make classic games available to own some other way? If not, then why? Doesn't Nintendo have an obligation to preserve its classic games by continually making them available for purchase? Across our Nintendo Switch Online membership plans, over 130 classic games are currently available in growing libraries for various legacy systems. The games are often enhanced with new features such as online play. We think this is an effective way to make classic content easily available to a broad range of players. Within these libraries, new and longtime players can not only find games they remember or have heard about, but other fun games they might not have thought to seek out otherwise. We currently have no plans to offer classic content in other ways. Nintendo have set up a page to see your Wii U and 3DS eshop memories (stats of how many games and how long you've played them) https://my-nintendo-3ds-wiiu-memories.nintendo.com/en-US/index.html#top

Anyone that does not buy the Boost Pack can still play the new courses online if it is selected by those that do have it: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-games/Mario-Kart-8-Deluxe-1173281.html#Booster_Course_Pass

Sadly not, you can't even use net once you are there. The Island is basically like a daily car boot sale, with all the characters that sometimes visit your main island, (like Crazy redd and his art) set up shop all day. There are also few of extra characters you can't meet otherwise there. However, Nintendo also added a little boat on your main island that that takes you to a random island, which should help with catching any bugs you need. I think those islands are not effected by the current season so you'll find bugs there that you can't normally catch this time of the year. Outside of that you can use a Nook Miles Tour to a island. I had to do that for a few bugs when they simply were not showing up for me lol Also, Yeah let me know what art you need and I can mail it out to you

It seems I only have one of those, the Rock-Head Statue. you should get it in the mail any time from now.
-
yeah, I would not have been able to complete the art collection had they not added Harvs Island, because before that you were at the mercy of a random appearance of Crazy redd and hoping he had the art I needed. Once they added that island I went every day and bought something which makes him replace it the next day. By the way, do you know which statues you need? I kept all the legit spare artwork that showed up so I could post them to you if I happen to have them.

Since Nintendo are reading my posts and taking notes, I also think the Switch could do with a new Donkey Kong Country game, a Metroid Prime remake and a Star Fox Zero port with good controls.

It took me over a year but I finally completed the art section of the Museum, which means all sections (Bugs,Fish, Fossils and Art) are all complete

There is still no release date for TMNT Shredders Revenge, but there is a new trailer showing off Splinter:
-
UK price for the DLC is £22.49
-
I've always loved the art style of this series (I've never played any of them though)
-
For those that missed it, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is getting 48 remade courses as paid DLC. it's included with the NSO Expansion Pass or sold separately for $24.99

That was a fantastic Direct. I am so happy about the Mario Kart DLC, its something I wanted but didn't think would happen.
