The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Helmsly replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
My slow and very casual play through this game is still going on. I've completed all Shrines and Shrine quests, completed all 77 side quests and even, for no good reason whatsoever, collected all 900 Korok seeds: Which of course unlocks: As strange as it is to say it, It was actually fun hunting down all those seeds as it made me explore pretty much every inch of the game and I got to see stuff I'd never seen before. I found some mini games and NPC's that I didn't know about, such as this one that thought I was going to off myself: I also got to see some nice views along the way: I only have to collect the very final memory and then fight Ganon and then the game is mostly done for me. There are a few other things I will probably attempt afterwards but not right away, Such as completing the compendium, unlock the different horse saddles and then maybe attempting the to get the Three Medals you can win for killing every boss that walks around the game. -

Yea, I like that Nintendo spent the time to do something fun like that to promote a NSO game, it’s great of them to make the effort and have some fun while doing it -
Nintendo Direct: The Super Mario Bros. Movie - October 6th, 9:05 pm

I’m pleasantly surprised by it, I love the look of it and the animations for Bowser when he talks where really good. As for the voice work, I liked all of it especially Bowser and Toad. I am unsure about Mario’s voice but I felt like I barely heard him enough to have much of an opinion on it. -

That's a shame, I've been watching it recently and really enjoying it although I've not finished it yet. I felt that this is probably the best way to tell the entire Shenmue Story too. Maybe there's a chance someone else will pick it up for Season 2 at some point.

Reggie is a guest on Kit and Krystas YouTube channel. I’ve not had a chance to watch it fully but it should be interesting:

I thought some of you would really enjoy this, it’s a hour long tour through E3 in 1999. Aside from the nostalgia, it’s interesting to see some of these games in their early builds and compare it to the final version. You also get a look at the axed mode to scan your face and put it onto characters in Perfect Dark:

3DS and Wii U eShop purchases to end March 2023

Even Sakurai seems concerned that some of these games are likely going to be gone forever -
I bet there are quite a few undiscovered. Funny enough there were a couple of other easter eggs from the first punch out game that were found out only a few years ago: https://www.engadget.com/2016-04-11-punch-out-easter-egg-found-29-years-later.html

Did anyone watch it? It just finished:

You have to hold Y+R on the second controller and then press A or Start on controller 1. The only reason I can think this wasn’t found after all this time is because no one would have bothered to see if a second controller did anything in a single player game… but even then, people data-mine Roms for old games all the time, especially Nintendo games, so it’s still surprising to me that is was only found now. It’s fantastic it’s been found though.

I’ve never actually played anything through online on NSO before but I always assumed that was how it worked. Also yeah, it’s not balanced at all lol Yeah me too, it’s awesome. I’m surprised this was only found now though considering how easy it is to do.
-
How about this, after 28 years it turns out there is a hidden 2-player mode in Super Punch-out: I just tried it and works on NSO (no reason why it shouldn't have but I figured I'd test it anyway). I don't know if you can make it work online though.
