Nintendo Direct (14th September 2023 @ 15:00 BST)
Helmsly replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah I can't make my mind up if they will say a single thing about the Switch 2. It stands to reason that they wouldn't want to effect sales of the Switch 1 this holiday season by announcing its follow up, but at the same time there's a chance we'll see something, like a small teaser of some kind at the very end of the Direct, but nothing major. I don't know what to expect from the Direct itself regarding Switch 1 games, outside of the obvious stuff. Such as I think they'll probably show more of Mario RPG since that is out soon. More details on the Princess Peach game that they revealed last time, as well as the Luigi's mansion 2 port. I think LM2 will have a date attached to it. The final set of tracks and characters released for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC/Booster Course Pass Ghostbusters: Spirits unleashed is due out on switch this year but we don't have a date for it yet, I assume this Direct will have announce the date along with some footage. Maybe those Wind Waker/Twlight Princess HD ports we kept hearing about get revealed. And Star Fox Zero port with normal controls with Star Fox Guard included. Some new games added to NSO -
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

Totally agree, it's much easier to know who to go for when its just a few players, but yeah, you also can't beat the sheer chaos of a full team. This was from a game I was in just before I joined you guys for example: I was worried you didn't get the reward for beating the boss (that red gem), so I'm glad it still counted. I ran to save you just as Shredder died and said "Noooo" out loud when I couldn't make it in time lol ^A random snapshot I took of the three of us. -

Hey @Glen-i and @BowserBasher I just saw the invite and can join if you guys if you are still in a game Edit - That was fun, GG guys -
For all these years, I had no idea that Platinum points expire. I also never payed too much attention to the psychical rewards you could get and just used my points on avatars, but since my points were about to disappear, I had a look at the store and ordered a bunch of random stuff. Finally, Wario masking tape lol:

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

I'll try and join if I can. I've played the new mode for an hour or so already and its a lot of fun. I didn't think I would enjoy a survival mode this much but it seems to be a decent challenge and I keep wanting to go back for one more go. My only issue is it's quite difficult on some of the later Dimensions, which isn't a huge issue if you are online with a group of people, but on my own I have found them close to impossible. Because of this, I worry a little how this mode will be in a few months time when it will be harder to find a team of random people to play it with when you can only play it by yourself. That said, I've not fully leveled up so maybe it'll be a lot easier once I had. I've also had Survival mode crash round 4 times already while playing online, which was an issue this game originally had back when it came out a year ago before they fixed it. Hopefully that'll get sorted out soon. Aside from that, the two new character's are great, I've mostly used Usagi who he might be my favorite character out of the whole roster already. -

Yeah, Fraiser is my favorite show of all time and although it would have been nice to see the old cast all returning, I'm still optimistic because I know the character works well with other characters as he did in Cheer's. Over the summer a few of the people that attended the filming of these episodes to be in the audience gave their impressions on Reddit and it sounds as though the show is as good as Fraiser, judging by their reactions.

Yeah i love the way this game looks and the DLC looks as though they've done a bunch of cool things for each dimension you warp to. By the way, the DLC will be £6.99 (there is a page for it on the eshop now but you can't purchase it yet). Some more screens to drool over: -

I have it, and really enjoying it. I think it might be one of my favorite Switch games, but I've been a little busy and taking a long time to play through it. I got 100% on the second area about a week ago and only started the third area today

I had the SNES version back when it came out. I liked it and always felt that with some changes it could have been one of the SNES’s better games. I also appreciated that the developers tried to do something original with the licence, which wasn’t common at the time. I replayed through it a few years ago and wrote about it in the Retro thread
