I've played it, and I also had the misfortune of buying 2 3DS' so trust me, my disillusionment towards 3D isn't from a lack of experience. It's just another Mario game; the perspective and depth offer some novelty, but not enough to distract you from the fact that it's essentially same game you've been playing for years. Mario has become so joyless. Also, I call everyone kid, kid =p.

Fuck you Ashley, now I'm gonna have to spend my morning watching Frasier.
-
Really? So somehow in your world, the incremental yearly Mario game with shoddy appended 3D isn't shovelware but Dead Space 2, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2; all games that could easily have qualified for GOTY, are? You need to check yoself, kid.

I heard that game was a forklift and barfight simulator with a revenge plot sellotaped to it. I'm actually kind of interested in it to be honest, never go to play it when it was first out.

Yes. I also have a monkey whose screeching onomatopoeia I have an ability to translate into perfect English.

Been learning how to properly hybrid pick, and came up with a random little D Maj doodle. Still finding it pretty tough to play since I have to use my index and ring fingers at the same time as holding my plectrum, but here goes:

I love how in that trailer, the chick hears gunfire and immediately says "civilians."

How can you help someone with depression?
The Bard replied to LegoMan1031's topic in General Chit Chat
Spending more of your time in the physical presence of people is probably the best treatment for depression. It prevents you from becoming into perpetual vicious cycles of negativity about yourself because the presence of others makes you realise how overboard you can get with your insecurities. -
Probably furries.

My only thoughts regarding all this is that Game should really get rid of that tacky purple sign. It's heinously repulsive and makes me never want to go in there.

@Hamishmash, I always thought that was a thing specific to this forum. It's never been one to toleralte serious displays of homophobia or misogeny, and it sort of pruned it's community to get rid of any of the real assholes who would say shit like that. N-E's always had sort of a good gay community though, and it helps that pretty much all of them are well informed, intelligent and not politically insane. Actually, I've seen more of what you say in real life. Less people using "gay" or "fag" as a pejorative for example, although that might just be something to do with the company I keep having grown up over the years.

I, to provide a perhaps unexpected perspective, am reasonably in favour of marriage. It's a safeguard against all the minutia of day to day life that affects you and keeps you from being your truest self, and the best you can be to the person you love. I think it's there to say that while you might disagree with one another, or go to bed at night hating each others guts, you have time and a stable foundation thats not going to slip from your grasp the moment you become distracted by everything else that takes a part of your life. Of course, I don't want to get married for a long ass time, but eventually, I think it's something I'd like to have, so to deny the same institution to same sex couples is absurd and vile, when really, all they want is to bind themselves together with something a little stronger than the capriciousness that usually invests the promises that one person makes to another when the going is good.

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box and LA: Noire are both going for dirt cheap at the moment. As for best games on Steam, shit, that's a broad question. If you want to start a collection, it's best to wait for one of Valve's ridiculous summer sales, where pretty much everything goes for stupid prices. Here are, in my mind, the essentials: Company of Heroes (This game is not for stupid people.) Stalker: Clear Sky Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl The Half Life Series (Start with 2, the first is old and far too difficult. Wikipedia story.) Left 4 Dead 2 Portal 1 + 2 Machinarium TF2 Crysis 2 DX:HR Torchlight Bad Company 2 Bethesda Games (way better on PC)

My intentions are purely...legal.

Does anyone here have Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together? I just bought it. If you do, let us cling together, together
-
Yeah, I was thinking that too, I often get distracted by the shadow of my reflection in the computer screen while I'm wanking and finish way too early/ unexpectedly. Face job might actually circumvent the need for a turniquet for my dick as well as the inadvertent monitor replacement costs; that amount of semen just can't be cleaned off. Oh god. Why am I so sexy? As an addendum; Cockroach leg dancing to human beatboxing. Amazing stuff.

I'm looking to start a record collection, but first I need a record player. Anyone here have any reccommendations? I'd be much obliged.

Do you live in a burner bonzo? Like, a shit sled...a meth mobile, spending your time cranking, tweaking and just all out huffing some gnarly uppers? Cause if not, you might want to see a doctor.
-
Yeah, I really doubt it's 100 dude. Have you actually measured or are you just assuming?

Anyone got the Elite pass on 2050 Rockway Stadium on Zone? Last one I need to get, and it is a total bitch. Edit: Cmaaaan gaiz. Anyway, I've played the shit out of Wipeout, stumped about what to get next. Leaning towards Rayman: Origins, but would prefer something either exclusive, or more suited to Vita.
-
I thought Raining was getting muddled, because I think 60 diastolic is considered borderline dangerous. I was just skimming though =p
-
Gaiz, blood pressure and heart rate are separate things. Blood pressure doesn't change very much regardless of rate of activity, but heart rate changes drastically.
-
Just checked my blood pressure, it's 119/60. The diastolic is really low, which means so is blood volume, explaining why I've been getting tired really easily during my runs these days. Need to keep myself hydrated, and cut out the booze. Resting pulse is 62 bpm though, which is great.
