  1. Well, QA is sort of an entry level job at game companies, a lot of people who start there move on to production and design.
  2. Yeah...dude, that's entirely my point; when you're working your triceps as a secondary part of your chest workout anyway, you may as well exhaust them completely by adding in a couple dip sets and a couple extension sets. The fact that you can't push them as hard as you might be able to if you were working them individually is irrelevant, since the effort you expend is cumulative if you work in terms of compond exercises. It also works out in the fact that if you do Chest and Biceps, the next day, when you're doing your back, your biceps are going to be fatigued, reducing the amount of effort you can expend on working the larger muscles. I basically do all my workouts in terms of compound movements; Chest + Triceps, Back (Lats + Rows) + Biceps etc. It's significantly more beneficial, and definitely more expedient to do it that way.
  3. Why is Chest then Triceps dumb? That's pretty much what I do when I'm working on my press. As for protein, I'm a Celiac, which means I can't have Wheat, and I'm also intolerant to milk, which counts out most Protein brands. What I get is unflavoured Pea Isolate protein from Myprotein.com, but it tastes so horrible it makes me gag. I've taken to adding a tablespoon of Agave nectar to it to make it tolerable though. Really miss the days of being able to have ready mixed, flavoured protein =(
  4. That's a shame, I really want to play it. No idea how to/ motivation to set up a US PSN account.
  5. I can totally imagine a wild eyed Daft smashing crockery to the sound of a remix of Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up, with the lyrics substituted for Smash My Shit Up. Somebody make this happen.
  6. Does anyone know if Chrono Cross is available on the PSN in the UK? Would love to have a copy of that when PSone support is inevitably announced for Vita.
  7. Rayman Origins is so charming and charismatic. Most fun I've had with a platformer for a long ass time.
  8. I am now about £100 overdrawn because I absolutely had to have the damn thing.
  9. The User Interface in this thing looks like butt. Wish they'd kept the XMB from the PSP.
  10. Holy shit, it's here. What a sexy piece of kit. Just setting it up and I'll add some of you mofos to my account. Too bad none of the games have arrived yet
  11. Family Guy is, on the juridical scale, a fucking war crime. Leave it where it is with the sense of relief that comes over an explosives specialist that just defused a plutonium bomb.
  12. Diageo, sometime I wish I was that much of a motherfucker. And then I realise that I totally am .
  13. Excellent, cheers for the info gaiz, guess I've been doing 'em wrong. It's one part of my workout I've completely neglected though, through a mixture of not knowing the "technique" and being lazy, but I tried to do squats after three deadlift sets and I just could not. It takes a lot of energy out of you.
  14. QQ aimed @Daft and @Fierce_LiNk : How many reps and what weight do you guys do for deadlifts? I think I may have been doing it wrong, since I've been doing 12 rep sets, and find it almost impossible to complete anything beyond 80kg...
  15. After gymming for about a week and a half, the attrophied little twiglets that were my legs are growing back, finally did a set at 100kg, and hoping to built it back up to 110kg, which was sort of the stable point at which I felt my centre of gravity was balanced enough to where I wouldn't be knocked over by a strong gale .
  16. Unless your beard is some sort of deeply personal memoir, conditioned with the fanny batter of your previous conquests, I don't see why it's not worth a shot brah. Although she doesn't like beards; obviously a chump.
  17. The feature on ARM was cool though because it augmented the PS Vita launch feature, and seeing as I have one of those it's of interest to me =p. Sometimes though, it's like reading though a fucking neuroscience journal. Is there some sort of dilemma I'm not seeing here?
  18. The thing with EDGE is, it's the only magazine that makes me feel bad when I don't read it cover to cover, because I'm afraid that I'll miss some amazing content. But then, it's also always really dense, so sometimes I just can't be fucked
  19. Big words for a dwarf, bitch. I'll have to download the HD dlc for it, so I can play you on those maps. I'm gonna need practice to get my ninja phantom skills back, since I haven't played Wipeout since Pure, but there was a time when I was at one with that game. I was Wipeout. Also, it obviously isn't the only reason I'm getting the system, just the only impetus I needed to buy it around launch. Really looking forward to SSDD, Ninja Gaiden, Uncharted (which I've never played before) as well as some PSP games that I never got around to. Shit is gonna be tight. Daft, Wipeout is a game I would totally think you'd love, just for the aesthetic and the music if not for how well it plays.
  20. So does anyone here play Wipeout much? I'm really looking forward to some decent online challenge when my Vita arrives in a couple of days
  21. That was such a great issue of EDGE. Bit bummed that Syndicate is nowhere near as good as was anticipated by that 6 page feature though...
  22. Not sure whats up, but all my twitter followers seem to have disappeared. Bummer.
  23. I don't see why you'd pay full price for that game on a system that doesn't support its optimal control interface. No game with quarter turn cancels can be played properly without an arcade stick. In other news, I just bought my Vita
  24. Just got my hands on a Vita at my local Gamestation; forget what I said before, I must have one immediately if not sooner.
  25. Alright then, I shall give it a look in, and get back to y'all. Shame it's not on Pc, otherwise I'd be able to download it on the spot =/
