    Ok, fine. It's the worst sitcom I've ever seen. I by no means claim to have seen every sitcom ever. Friends isn't actually about anything, it's a bunch of tossers deliberating over their inconsequential lives. It wasn't even remotely entertaining.

    Fuck FUCK FUCCCCCK! So my dickhead mate comes round while my parents are out, and we sit down to play a bit of Timesplitters for shits and giggles. We have bots on, so I don't notice his character being totally static as he grabs my lighter and proceeds to burn my hair off with it. My hair caught on fire, and his ass caught my foot. Had to cut a giant clump out of my hair, and I'm gonna need to get it cut. I fucking hate my friends.

    It was MMR, then Hep A with Typhoid then Tetanus, Diptheria and Polio. It didn't hurt, but my arms are a little numb. When the dark lord finally comes to claim my soul, the last thing I'll remember is dropping a log as your virtual backside comes plunging from 200 feet right onto my face. It was terrifying :p.

    Just went to get three different vaccines for when I go on holiday. Both my arms are pretty numb, and apparently they result in spots for a couple of days. Fantastic. In other news...Chrono Trigger DS. Wooooo!

    Hmm...I didn't like Pom Poko. I think it's the only Ghibli film apart from Porco Rosso I didn't really like. In a Ghibli mood, so I'm gonna go watch Grave of the Fireflies.

    Well it doesn't great anymore, but the AI was ridiculous, there were many "...clever girl" Jurassic Park esque moments . The story was pretty pants, but for combat/ weapons/ AI it still kicks everythings ass.

    Well, that's more of a story crux than a gameplay one, I don't think there was any plausible way to pull off a stealth game back then without the enemies being limited in some way. Also, I suppose you could argue that the soldiers wouldn't be able to tell from a larger distance whether you're one of them or an intruder. I can't believe I'm defending Metal Gear.

    I still like the graphics on the PS1 version, the colour filter adds a pretty cool effect. They rerecorded all the voices for Twin Snakes, and Naomi sounds so bland and subdued, whereas she used to have a pretty strong accent. Liquid sounds even more annoying. The first person camera adds to the game in some places, and totally breaks it in others, as you have to remember, the original was made without first person shooting in mind. As for the cut scenes; Solid snake is not supposed to be a fucking super hero with Neo-like abilities, and the cut scenes totally break any sense of vulnerability. Fair enough if the ninja has mad acrobatic skills, but I always thought of Snake as a more realistic, human character, and Twin Snakes totally takes that concept and fucks it up the ass with a two foot cactus. MGS is all about the story, and TS moves it (even more) in the direction of pure farce. The original is still the "full" experience for MGS fans, but if you're not a fan of the series (I'm not really anymore) then I suppose TTS is yer best bet.

    You guys seen Project Origin? F.E.A.R is still probs my fave shooter ever, and PO looks so damn awesome it's unbelievable.

    Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me. General Hammond was a total legend. This makes me sad . I will now watch 9 seasons of SG-1 back to back.

    Usually Demoman most of the time, if I'm in the mood for something different, I go for Soldier or Sniper.

    To be fair, there weren't all that many great fighters for N64, but Smash totally made up for that. It was the most original fighter I'd seen for a long time, and pretty much the first that had a four player mode that worked perfectly. I think I'll dig my N64 out of the loft and give it a gander tonight .

    Twin Snakes plays better, but the new cut scenes are so, so (so) bad.
