^ Yeah, I've been wondering that too. As for my day: Started reading Tender is The Night. Thought I should give something by F.S F other than Gatsby a try... Mate came over with the intention of dragging me out to the SU, but couldn't be arsed, so we stayed in and played Doom coop for a while. Was fun.

I think now would be a good time for me to commit hirikiri.

It did after I watched the Exorcist and played Doom for the first time when I was like 7. But generally, no. I mean, why should you be scared? Saying that though, I'm shit scared of large bodies of water. I remember almost having a fit when my dad told me we were travelling in a tunnel that's beneath like 1000 feet of ocean.

No they don't. Perfect Metallica gig: Battery Disposable Heroes Blackened The Unforgiven For Whom The Bell Tolls Sanitarium Creeping Death Harvester of Sorrow Nothing Else Matters Master of Puppeeeeeeetz To Live is To Die/ Call of Ktulu medley One And to cap it off, the incomparable Orion. And if they absolutely have to...Enter Sandman *sigh* New album: It seems like most of the time they're in the studio, they just sit around talking absolutely worthless bullshit and throwing around futile comments. Having like, almost a year in the studio doesn't strike me as the best environment to record an album in. It seems like they're just throwing shit together without having a thorough idea as to what they want the songs to be. It's fucked up. I wish they'd stop making albums just for the sake of making albums. If they've lost their drive, they should stop jerking us around. They don't seem to have the will to create without being ushered or babysat through it all. What I've heard: Anyone with a guitar and a love of thrash should be able to come up with the sort of generic riffs I've heard so far. But seeing as it's metallica, most people just hear a quick hammer on followed by a few chugging triplets and think everything's in order. I sincerely, with all my heart hope that I'm completely wrong and that the new record turns out to be as good as Megadeth's latest effort. But then, the difference between them and Metallica is that Mustaine is still a smouldering ginger ball of anger, whereas Metallica, well, music doesn't take priority in any of their lives anymore.

Ah really? That's a shame, I heard it was a pretty interesting combination of Gears' cover system and RE4's weapon/ OTS camera. I'll haven't tried the demo yet though, on account of my XBL being down atm. I'm definitely getting Lost Odyssey though. It's been so long since I tried a new traditional style RPG.

Deus Ex. Seeing as it's considered one of the best games ever made, and that it's barely playable by todays standards, they could do with fixing the shooting elements, giving it a ginormous graphical overhaul and rerecording the dialogue. Also; I really would not mind a remake of Chrono Cross (not Trigger...that game is perfect the way it is) with fully orchestrated music, FF13 quality graphics and actually brining the fucking game over to Europe. Actually, screw that, I just want a direct sequel to Chrono Trigger. More than anything in the world.

There are people I know that don't out for the reason of going out to have a good time. They go out solely to take pictures of themselves pretending not to pose for Facebook. This is verified by the point that the last time I went out with said bunch of people, the very next day, there were 391 new pictures uploaded of the night before. It makes me want to kill myself and everyone around me. Also: As you may know me, you may also know that nigh on everything has some capacity to piss me off; but one thing that makes my blood boil more than anything else: Stupid people. They are everywhere. They're in your school. They're in your houses. They infest your living rooms. They're you're friends. They may even be you. Stupid people are the worlds strongest argument for euthanasia.

Really looking forward to Dead Space atm, it looks intense. Also: Has anyone played Dark Sector? Is it worth getting?

Hope everyone's still coming...otherwise I'll be in London for 3 days on me own :p. I think we should seriously start sorting out the hostel thing (if not...i'll just have to book a travelodge room for a couple days...), and figuring out where we're going to meet/ exchange phone no's etc. I might disappear for a little while cause some friends want me to swing by since I'm in London, but we should think about stuff to do while we're there.

What was 'wrong' with Twilight Princess?
The Bard replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I thought TP was a great game. The problem was that it progressed in exactly the same way as every Zelda before it. I loved WW, I prefer it's graphical style to any Zelda game thus far, and it's my favourite Zelda outside LTTP. -
The whole above post embodies all (and more) of the factors why I am, and will be living the celibate life for the foreseeable future. My day: I woke up at 7pm (yes, so if I was a normal person, the time I am posting this at, would roughly equate to the time most people have their tea), played a bunch of half-life and portal, and then lay in bed listening to podcasts, mostly about stuff that barely interests me, and then out of sheer boredom, something possessed me to watch the Street Fighter 2 movie. Now watching Castle of Cagliostro and praying that a flaming aircraft engine comes out of the sky and decimates my room while I'm asleep. Donnie Darko style. On the plus side, my sleeping schedule has ensured minimal contact with other members of the species.

I mean, it makes sense in more "serious" FPS games, but TS2 was a party FPS, and there just doesn't seem to be enough of that kind of game around anymore. Also; yeah, you could play without the expansion pak, but only multiplayer. And it was soooo framy

Guys? This isn't a list of the greatest games of all time, this is a list, in order, of the games that sold the most. Doesn't mean it's right, and it definitely doesn't mean we shouldn't bitch and moan

Yeah, I've been about 11 hours in for the past year, waiting for a better PC to play it on. Transferred my save file, and played for a couple of hours, but there's a part where theres a blockade in the road and two airships. Every time I try to take down the airship with a rocket, my comp crashes as soon as it makes contact. Ugh, stupid fucking PC. Want to finish it soon though, got Episode 1 and 2 waiting

I'll give it a look in. As for Obzen. Fuck no! Great album, but not a Watershed beater for me.

Hmm, was working fine for me earlier. Oh and cheers for the invites McMad and Phee . I'm gonna be playing Half Life 2 this week, but I'll definately be up for some multiplay sometime in the near future .

Counter op in PD was amazing with a friend. I still have fond memories of traveling on opposite elevators frantically trying to frag my mate (yeah...no homo eroticism there... As for framerate, I think that was only an issue if you played without the expantion pak, though. I actually made all the classic PD and GE levels on the map editor in Timesplitters 2. I'm getting an urge to go back to that game now actually...so many fun moments. Too few console FPS these days that don't tend to focus on the split screen shit anymore, which is a shame.

Quite like Iron Man, and A Scanner Darkley, thought R Downey Jr has been the best thing about both, so is the Hulk worth me giving it a go? Also been on a bit of a Ghibli spree of late. Full reviews will go up later, but I loved Kiki's Delivery Service, and Whisper of The Heart recently. Whisper of The Heart was more my kinda thing. Both get a firm 9/10

The Wii already has a Hori stick am I right? I don't think SF4 would be a good fit at all, but I could see the console becoming a safe bet for developers of 2D fighters that find the 360 and PS3 too expensive to develop for. Even though it's pretty much considered anathema in the realm of fighting games, I'm looking forward to having some not-too-serious matches with friends online on SF4, and I just don't see that ever working on Wii.
