  1. Yes you absolutely should. Some of the real plus points about these events is that they provide commentaries throughout to explain much about the games (some of my favourite ones are where a developer gets involved e.g., Banjo-Kazooie).
  2. Ok, so it's my favourite PPV of the Year tonight : the WWE Royal Rumble. It's disappointed me the past couple of years, but this one does have the potential to be good. AJ Styles vs Cena should be great, as should the Raw Tag Team match. The rumble itself I'm struggling to predict, which is good considering the past couple of years have been easily predictable. I'd love to see Chris Jericho win it with Undertaker coming 2nd. Orton has gone up in odds which has surprised me, I just hope they go with something as predictable as Strowman happens!
  3. Oh... I mean he couldn't have picked a worse section to say something like that, during one of the most popular runs! I guess a lot of the runners/couch are used to live streaming their runs, but not physically performing them in front of live audiences, where they're so much more unpredictable. It was hardly the audience playing up, and to come out with that was sad and immature. On the plus side, I thought the rest of the event was great as always. I'm still catching up on a lot of the runs I missed. The NES Duck Tales race was one I enjoyed so much more than I thought I would!
  4. With (potentially) just a couple of months to go until launch they'll have to give one. This isn't an iPhone so Nintendo need to give more than a weeks' notice! They need to go all out. The casual gamer won't know about the console so they need to get that hype train rolling quickly!
  5. Excellent stuff and good memories. Congratulations to everyone that's helped make the site what it is today!
  6. Absolutely brilliant! I love that you've got it so organised and neat (that little bit of OCD in me!) and it just looks a great set up. #jealous
  7. That sounds like a great evening! I'm only just getting round to catching up on Impact Wrestling and I've just watched your episode. Awesome that you got to see Aron Rex's debut promo (a great talent in WWE and he deserves success somewhere). Thank goodness you guys were there as Impact crowds aren't always as vocal as they should be!
  8. Finally they've decided to bring this to the PS4. I've been wanting to try the KH series for ages, but without a PS3 I was disappointed they seemingly had no plans to bring the updates to the PS4. If this is indeed the full series as others have mentioned then that's terrific news! A sure fire seller and one Im delighted to see that the publishers have seen sense!
  9. Excellent, surely this can only help the game to sell more copies so great news!
  10. I disagree with this. I don't think we lost tactically. We controlled the majority of the game and it's great to finally see an England team with an attacking line-up. I'm not saying I agree with every one of his decisions, but I don't think we failed to win due to Roy's tactics. It's frustrating to not have one, and that while we had a fair few chances, I'm struggling to recall any that actually came to our strikers. They all fell to our midfielders (yes I'm including Rooney as that was his position today) so I'd like to see our strikers more involved against Wales and Slovakia. They were shocking tonight!
  11. Quick predictions before the actual event. A great chance for some to rise up and shine, due to the lack of real star power / standout matches on the card: HHH vs Reigns (Hmm...) Brock vs Dean (this will make Dean look good, although expecting Wyatt interference) Taker vs Shane (I sure hope the Undertaker gets a win, but I can see a screwy finish) AJ vs Jericho (match of the night contender, and I'm a huge fan of both of these guys) IC Ladder Match: Kevin Owens (tough call between him and Sami, although I'd like to see Dolphins with the title again) New Day vs League Of Nations Sasha vs Becky vs Charlotte Usos vs Dudleys Ryback vs Kalisto Battle Royale: Bray Wyatt (there's a distinct lack of Wyatts on the card considering how they were built up at the beginning of the year) Here's hoping for some surprises and this one exceeds my expectations.
  12. I love using the off-TV option. I use it when there's something on TV or while in bed (our room being just above the TV helps with the range issue). It's a shame there's such a difference in quality between the TV and GamePad, but I've been able to play for many more hours because of this excellent option.
  13. Mark Hamill was a guest on "Saturday Night Takeaway" tonight and I absolutely loved it when he did one of the links in his Joker voice (after they mentioned his BAFTA nomination for playing the Joker in Arkham Knight). It's the first time I've actually seen him do it and he went straight into it, maniacal laughter and all!
  14. Really sad news. He Wa still performing and his shows were only cut short upon news of his tumour. A performer until the end. I was one of those bought up with a Panl Daniels Magic Set. He found a niche and made the most of his opportunity. Sad news and a big loss to the entertainment industry.
  15. Ah those were the best days! So many good shows to choose from!
  16. I think this is a great idea! It means that lots of people are playing the same game at the same time to encourage discussion, and it also gives another reason to revisit some classic games.
  17. I used to that on another forum. I'm up for it, it's nice to see whether WWE is as predictable as people make out, and also if I share the same opinion as others. As for tonight: Tag Team pre-show: The Dudley Boys Tag Team Championship: The Usos via DQ (New Day stay champs) Divas Championship: Charlotte U.S. Title: Alberto Del Rio Intercontinental Championship: Dean Ambrose (close call) Royal Rumble: Roman Reigns I hope I'm wrong on the Rumble, as WWE have such a fantastic opportunity to do something differ and surprise us. The obvious shock is HHH, which is surely too obvious. The smart money would surely be on a Brock Lesnar vs Roman showdown, so how good would it be if WWE swerved us all with something exciting and different!?
  18. Another big night of football ahead, and with no major upsets so far it seems only fair that there's at least one upset this round... Which means it's all set for Exeter to pull off one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history, right? Right.....? Gutted I couldn't get a ticket (can you believe that even Liverpool have sold out of tickets to watch the 'mighty' Grecians!), so am having to find a pub with BT Sport and no doubt there'll be a lot of banter with everyone else. I can see the Liverpool second string team either walloping us (most likely) or the one team will sneak by with just a single goal in it.... Financially Exeter are winners from this either way! Game on!
  19. Wow that one really snuck through. Considering the team behind it and just how good the original game is, I'm surprised Nintendo haven't made more of a song and dance about this one! Great game and I'm pleased to see it gain a sequel.
  20. "Charming" is the best word for describing the game in my opinion. I'm delighted to see it being released on other formats as well. For some reason it had little fanfare when it arrived on Nintendo's console and I'd like to see the series continued in the future, so hopefully this will see it sell a little better too!
  21. Agreed. Just 3 points off a Champions League spot yet listening to their fans you'd think they were battling for relegation! I don't think they're playing well at the moment, but they are sneaking enough results in that they are still in serious contention. A few wins coupled with a loss or two for Arsenal, Leicester, etc and suddenly they are battling for the title! By the way, fantastic showing by Sheffield Utd, Eastleigh, Wycombe and a whole host of lower league clubs in the FA Cup so far! As an Exeter fan I was ecstatic that we've gained a replay against Liverpool as the money could completely change the club! I don't care what kind of Liverpool team was put out or why star players such as Llana were kept on the bench. It was a good game of football and now I have to see if I can get a ticket for Anfield! "So Jürgen, have you ever done a pre-match interview in a tea room before?" Haha, priceless! Welcome to Exeter Herr Klopp!
  22. That Mario Maker section was just brilliant! I loved that they got some of the most popular level designers to be there and make levels for the event, and seeing them played by some of the best players in the world was an amazing watch! The crowd were into it and it just made the whole section captivating. (& made me realise just what a novice I am at playing Mario!)
  23. Wow they don't hang around for long do they? No sooner are the Majora's Mask ones arrive then it's suddenly their last day today! I didn't do so well on the dummy catcher so I've missed out on this round Hopefully they'll be back soon.
  24. Glad to see so many people having a good Christmas. We hosted both my family and my wife's family this year so a little stressful and pressured organising it. The day went really well and everyone was fun, festive and, once we'd served up a feast of food, full! I was humbled and grateful for the guts I received this year, including Super Mario Maker & Xenoblade alongside Arkham Knight and AC4 on PS4. Merry Christmas everyone!
  25. The wife and I are currently playing through Beyond (following how much she enjoyed the decision-making gameplay from Life Us Strange) and so far we're really enjoying it. It may only be because we're only a few hours in, but we are really yet to see whether the decisions we make have any effect on the story. Technically it is excellent and we are enjoying the story so far.
