I've never played Saints Row 2 or Just Cause 2, but I also haven't played the first game in either series and I hate skipping games, so that's a bit annoying. :p I'd also never played Dead Space 2, but I was never that crazy about the first game. I'm up to chapter three and keep being haunted by a bug where monsters don't spawn in areas where you're supposed to be locked in a room and have to kill all of the monsters for the doors to open. Strangely enough, the doors always open on their own if you stand around for five minutes or so. The only other person I've found with the same problem had to restart the game to fix the bug. That would only mean replaying two hours, but that's still two hours of a game I'm just going through the motions with. Maybe I'll just deal with the lack of monster ambushes. Sure makes the game easier, at any rate! Edit: Never mind, started over. Only got five minutes into chapter 3 before getting stuck in another room where monsters wouldn't spawn (they sure were making a lot of noise from somewhere outside the map, though), so this was completely ruining the game for me.

I'm with Hamish on this one. The majority of television sucks everywhere. I spend a lot of time reading American entertainment sites, and I regularly see Americans say how much better British television is. They know when to end shows and the writing is so much better and their shows are so much funnier and why does the US have to remake Skins/The Inbetweeners/Misfits isn't it bad enough that every other show is a remake of an older show these days and oh God I'm so sick of all the reality shows we produce and would Jersey Shore/Housewives of [Place]/whatever just end already?

Closing the servers? Please. Every copy of a Monster Hunter game outside Japan will stop working by the end of the year. Monster Hunter? What's that? Oh, it's a series of coasters!

The ending is actually fairly satisfying. Though you pretty much need to ignore what the creator said about it afterwards.

A high-concept show on network television getting canceled? HOW COULD REZ HAVE KNOWN. Erm... I watched Awake a while ago and it was alright. Pretty good at times. Started out way too episodic for my tastes but got really good in the last few episodes. Would have watched a second season.

Yeah, I really don't like how they're splitting up the final season. Ugh.
