Thanks for the heads up, @Vileplume2000. I'm glad that the embargo lifts a few days before the cards launch, because I'm not sure if I would've bought the cards going in blind (probably would've though...). It will be nice to see some actual numbers from youtubers and tech nerds.

They're really upping the Game Pass to sell Xbox Series S, aren't they? This is great news though, a lot of good titles is available at EA Play. Really increasing the value of this already incredible deal.

So, just to make things clear for me, do you install the games you want through Game Pass, or is it a streaming service where the games are played online? Because if you install it locally, I think I'll get it right away. I had a look through the list of games, and the library is crazy good!

Sounds great! I had a blast with the Hearts of Stone, and from what I've seen of Blood and Wine it looks absolutely jawdropping. It looks like a completely different game, especially when you're used to the bland and brown colors of the rest of the map.

There's actually been a rumor recently about Sony's upcoming VR-plans, and it's quite different from what I was expecting. Seeing as how well the PSVR has sold up until now, they've changed focus and made plans to make a stand alone headset similar to the Oculus Quest. If the new headset will be tethered to a PC or not, I do not remember, but I do remember someone saying that a Playstation VR Store for PC would be a possibility, opening up exclusive games on the PC platform. If they're going to open up for the possibilities of support for other headsets, they would take a huge chunk of the VR market, and quite possibly get loads of sales. Now, these are all rumors so take it with a bucket of salt, but it seems to be in line with Sony's new take on releasing their exclusive games on PC.

I have still yet to start Blood and Wine, so when I'm getting my hands on the new RTX 3080, this will be one of the first games I'll boot up

Looks beautiful <3 The only thing I would have them fix, which would add a ton of life to the world, is to have the grass and the hanging plants sway with the wind. Now I kinda get put off with them not moving at all. Othe than that, it looks very good.

I'll chime in on this discussion too For my part, I started out with buying a pre-built PC with okay-ish components a good 7 years ago. I then started upgrading each part as I wanted a better system. That's a way to go too, which gives you quite a smooth entry into the crazy world of PC. If you decide to go and build a system from scratch though, there's been a lot of good advice here already. Read @Ike's post, that's solid advice. Choose a cabinet of your liking, and decide on a good CPU. That way you know a lot of what to look for in the other components. And if you're gonna be mainly playing racing and flight sims, do keep in mind to go with a VR-ready setup. Playing sim games in VR is insane. It. Will. Blow. Your. Mind!

I really liked the look of Godfall, even though we only got like 15 seconds sneak peak. That was a terrible reveal though, I struggled to remember what it was called after having watched it.

Star Wars Squadrons still looks pretty awesome. Really looking forward to playing it in VR.

Some kind of furry show? Edit: I hope there will be some VR reveals, but I think it'll just be these kind of FPS multiplayer games that we've seen up until now..

This looks.... insanely good, tbh! As trailers go, I think they really, really nailed it, and vampire sparkly boi seems to do a really good job. So far I am really excited for the movie Oh and I love the suit!

The game is currently sitting at a score of 93 on Metacritic, which is pretty insane for a flight simulator. But I can understand it, as it is a technical marvel. Can't wait to get it eventually. PC VR support has been announced, and is launching first with the new HP Reverb G2 sometimes in september. Support for other VR headsets is coming at a later time. I can't wait to try this with the new headset and a GTX 30-something when I get it all. The graphics... I've spent hours just studying the clouds, haha. I'm not much for sim games, but this has me hyped!

So, in late may a new headset was revealed. The upgrade to the racing and flight sim favorite, the HP Reverb G2. Now the release is finally starting to get near (I think it's been said it will ship sometime during september, but with covid 19 still on the loose, we'll see), and some previews of prototype versions are starting to flood onto youtube. It's looking like a real contender to the Valve Index, and is what the Oculus Rift S should have been in the first place. A good second generation PC VR headset. The screens on this headset looks absolutely insane! Barely any screen door effect, great blackness, incredible resolution and overall as good as, if not better than, the Valve Index. I've got one preordered and I can't wait to play Star Wars Squadrons, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and whatever I can find. Just playing old VR games again will probably be a pretty different experience. I can actually read what the HUD says in Elite Dangerous this time around. ......now I just need to shell out for a new graphics card =_=

A bunch of my mates told me about this game. It's about time we got a fresh take on the Battle Royale genre. I still haven't bought it, but it looks amazing and the next time we're having a game night online, I'll download it and play it. Can't wait And thanks for the clips @drahkon, some of those were hillarious How did he even climb the crown instead of winning??

I also found Octodad and Runner 3 in the mix. Crazy bundle, and adding Celeste just made the deal even sweeter. Bought and donated a bit extra

Cool, I will try this! I have recieved new joysticks from ebay that I was going to replace my old ones with, but if this trick will get rid of the drift (at least for some time), that'd be great!
