Maybe it's a shadow drop during the Nintendo Direct? That's not directly tied in to E3, is it? Don't deny me this!!!

I'm still pretty early on in this game (just four or five loops in), but what I must tell you is that it is AMAZING if played with a PC VR headset. Again, a perfect example is Giant's Deep. Holy hell, that place is scary when you first break the clouds. The VR experience are just mods, but they are well optimized. Great head and hand tracking, but the zero-g moments really require some decent VR legs.

Oh man, Dunkey does it again I'm glad I got something out of this game at least.

Glad to see they're sticking to the VR standards now, as this will make it easier for them to port games from PC and the other way around. Clever design with the orb-style. Looking forward to seeing how the headset will be like.

Is it good? Looked like a great anime-style game, and I'm sold if the story is interesting. -

I'll be cracking open a whisky to either enjoy or drown my sorrows tonight. I don't think I've touched my Switch in over a year, so I'm hoping I'll get something that'll get me playing on it again. Anyways, a direct is always a good time, even though it might be weak or strong. -
If you have a PC that can run Oculus Link, then you could subscribe to Viveport Infinity. That's a pretty good subscription service with a lot of games.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (14th May 2021)
ArtMediocre replied to Julius's topic in Other Consoles
Perfect! Haha But(t) in all seriousness, I am really looking forward to going back into the Mass Effect Universe and playing through the games again. It's one of my all time favorites, and seeing it in good graphics (as I remember in my head) will be great. And I'm glad they're fixing the dreaded mako and other issues. -

WHAT?! -
Yeah, the best way to experience Nintendo in VR is through VRchat or Pavlov on the PC Kinda silly, but I've (kind of) played through the entire beginning of Breath of the Wild in VRchat, and it worked really well. Guardians in VR are terrifying, even if they're just the destroyed ones without legs.

Nice, clean setup, and I love the screen And I'm relieved you have a chair...

Oh hi @ArtMediocre, it's me again! So, I've finally gotten the Reverb G2 and have been playing around with it for a good two weeks now, and I really enjoy it! It's what the Rift S should've been The screens are amazing, at least in the sweetspot and around it. No screendoor at all. The colors are brilliant! The blacks are okay, but kinda gray-ish. The sound is so much better than whatever Oculus delivers <3. I was concerned about the tracking and controllers after reading a lot of negativity about it on the HP Reverb subreddit, but to be honest, I think it works great, and for my main games like Pavlov and Blade & Sorcery I have had zero issues. I actually ended up getting a used Valve Index for an okay-ish price, so just to see what I was missing out on, I ended up on buying it. I also wanted to see if I could combine the G2 with the Index Controllers if I had serious issues with the tracking. To be honest, I'm not really impressed with it after experiencing the visual quality of the G2. The tracking works great, and the controllers are cool, but not something I'm willing to pay £500-700 extra, when the default WMR controllers work good enough. If anyone wants a recommendation for a good PCVR headset, look no further. The G2 is the way. I love mine, and I'm looking forward to many more hours of fun with it!

I have the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum, and I love it to bits! Wide range of dpi, customizable weights, rgb lightning and great comfort. Can't go wrong with that one. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it keeps on winning "best mouse of 20XX" competitions.

+1 for Astral Chain, I loved that game. I am a sucker for both anime and Platinum games though.. Great score, interesting combat and awesome setting. I sure hope you've played it, but if you haven't, Hollow Knight should be the first game you buy on the Switch. Best game I've played in years!

New Mass Effect Officially in Development (Veteran Team at BioWare)
ArtMediocre replied to Julius's topic in Other Consoles
Looks interesting. As you say @Sméagol, the relays were destroyed by the chain reaction blast. You can see one in the trailer at 0:42 surrounded by debris. I'm excited to get back into the universe, but only if the story is good. I enjoyed the third game a lot, and even enjoyed the endings, especially after digging good into the indoctrination theory. But this trailer might debunk that theory all together, as it suggested that the entire ending at the Citadel happened in Shepards head. If this story continues after the ending, the mass relays are in pieces, and people are scattered all over the galaxy, then it strongly suggest the ending actually happened . -
I've been really excited to play Control since joining, but it looks like it's only available for consoles, not PC I hope it comes to PC some time soon, it would be a great game to test my new RTX graphics card with ray-tracing on. And it looks bonkers too, so I hate to miss out on a good story

Finally bit the bullet and bought the 3 year Live Gold membership and converted it to Game Pass Ultimate for £1. Happy to be part of the club! There are a few games I've had my eyes on for quite a while, so I'm ready to dive in!

An update on the HP Reverb G2 adventure. My order is, like the rest of europe, delayed. I was supposed to recieve the new headset tomorrow, the 20th of november, but it turns out HP still hasn't shipped the headsets from their factory. That means at least a delay of two weeks, if not more, and my order has an estimated delivery of 18th january 2021. Great stuff =_=. HP managed to kill a lot of hype for their headset by screwing up the launch with delays. I read that a lot of people are considering cancelling their orders, but I'm going to stick it through, and maybe order a Quest 2 at the same time for comparison. The tracking seems... less than optimal for Pavlov and fast paced VR shooters. In the end though, the VR headset is one of the best there is, and I might go the route of ordering basestations and Index controllers, but I'll see how I think the tracking is first.

No More Heroes 1+2 - Available Now! (28th October 2020)
ArtMediocre replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Oh my! I actually have the US version of the original, and had to modify my Wii to be able to play it. But everything to be able to get those sprays of blood everywhere I might have to go back and play it again. Does anyone know if this is a polished version of the original, or is it a ported version of No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise from Xbox 360 and PS3? -
Congratulations, Ike

Ow, that sucks :S. Better swap it quickly though, and hope that it's not a recurring issue with other models. I guess it's pretty noticable on a headset mounted so closely to your ears.
