The Broken Steel DLC was probably my least favourite. It started out with a great cinematic set piece, then just decided to throw a bunch of the hardest foes at me over and over and over. It wasn't timed well, for my character was very low on credits and all weapon conditions were low so repairs were needed but not affordable. So each 'battle' is just a matter of time. I also never really liked the Brotherhood angle, anyway. In fact; fuck feral ghoul reavers altogether. I don't get how/why zombiesque bag of bones gets to be so damn tough. Gah! .. The tesla cannon is making things a lot more bearable.

Considering the crab in question is a model of a crab, then are we then to say that models of legs are not acceptible? If we agree that models of legs are allowed to be classed still as legs, then we must recognise that the other classicications of crab body parts be respected and true to today's known knowledge on the matters. Crab claws are 'modified legs'. Crabs are part of the order of decapods within the crustacean group of creatures - literally 'ten-footed' creatures. The Chelae is the pincer/claw-ended leg. The difference between what constitutes an 'arm' and what can be called a - typically creatures with arms are creatures with 'upper' limbs, while legs are libs which are walked upon. It's a silly argument (which makes it all the more fun) but I'm sticking with the fact that a crab is part of teh decapod class.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. could'veposted; GM's can't win (insinuating that Peeps will HAVE to watch the show because the impending mafia game will give him a tantalising glimpse of what's in store, and thus Yvonne claims victory as instigator).

Really enjoyed walking across the bridge and into The Pitt. Got me into the hellish mindset nicely. I think The Pitt's been the best DLC I've played so far but it was incredibly short and easy, and a lot of opportunities for smaller missions were skipped over - it would've been nice to have been tempted further into joining the Pitt Raiders. Operation Anchorage was just a rip on FPS games, it seemed. Not a bad experience, but kinda felt like Bethesda were trying out a possible multiplayer sort of thing. Was a bit jarring with the different health/weaponry. Also I wasn't paying ANY attention before I sat in the sim-chair, and I was busy checking out the items in the unlocked room at the end so I didn't really get WHY it all got a bit civil-war so suddenly. Just got Broken Steel left. So far each DLC has gone in a different direction and I've enjoyed them all. In retrospect, the emptiness/lonliness tone that the main game prides itself on didn't translate as well to the smaller, yet still sparse and under-utilised areas such as The Pitt and Point Lookout -- though still very enjoyable.

I roleblocked mr-paul the night before he was lynched, and I started the lynch on mr-paul.

Not really - trends come and go. Just as vampires experiences a rebirth with twilight/true blood/etc, which we last experienced with buffy/blade. Ghosts'll be back! @Murr yes that's not the nicest way to say it - meat is hung. Men are hanged.

RE: Sherlock, I've heard that Elementary is very decent it its own right and not doing the same thing that Sherlock does. Considering there are two newer movies too it is certainly a bit... unfortunate that everyone is having these modernisation ideas at the same time.

WTF is with all these non-believers?! One of the golden rules for highly-recommended TV is give it three episodes. Don't just watch one or two and assume you've got the full feel for a show that spans 5 seasons and 50 characters. It's literally one of the greatest TV shows ever made. That's a fact. You don't just not bother getting round to it. It's like someone telling you "oh you know this happiness emotion? It's one of the best," and you then saying "oh yeah? Well I tried out this 'smile' thing and it didn't seem right, so I'm not going to bother trying to be happy." That's a really bad analogy but the point stands. Changevote: signmeupplease

Vote: Tales. The problem I'm now having is deciding who the second mafia is - considering all four of us 'suspects' are voting for tales. I think that myself and jonnas are clearly town (see the mr-paul lynch that started with me that was so emphatically wrapped up thanks to Jonnas), and I suspect that either heroijan or diageo are trying to appear innocent... I also do not like just leaving jimbob to collect zombies (inc. myself) - he must be approaching a majority. P.S. got my PM (:p) and found that Jimbob had a 'one-track mind' and I could not steer him away from his target.

@ReZourceman both shorty and Bob have valid points - your current total in the OP reflects these deductions!
-
Ah ok - yes I got it after release by a few months and it was very playable It's got to be £20 or less by now, so you should definitely pick it up.
-
@Dyson you HAVE to get that promotion, simply so that I can demand a job from you one day.
-
It seems to me that it's between heroijan and diageo as well. Jimbob is our potential neutral thread, right? I've been zombied. last night I attempted to target Jimbob but I received no info at all. I normally get a message stating tsomething, but no contact seems to have been made at all - either jimbob is untargetable or his zombification fo me has meant I'm ruined.

Clearly, scoring a whole mass of goals against a manger-less side proves that I am WORTHY OF TOP FLIGHT SILVERWARE! I demand that I get a shot at the top league title. I have scored 11 goals in 2 games. Can the league leader do this in as many games? No. TEHREFORE I AM CHAMP! ...... yeah. right.

I have a ghost 'experience' but I don't believe in ghosts. I like to pretend there's some sort of afterlife/larger picture, but only because not pretending makes my brain hurt and I don't want to face a reality where nothing means anything at all -- even though i use the absurdity of life to get away with being a dick/failure, in general. Schisms/hypocracies are runofthemill. ANYWAY GHOSTS YESS. I never really understood why Slimer was so friendly.

As far as I can tell it's a sequel just as Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Was a sequel. The sort of game that would've been deemed a sequel in the past, but these days there seems to be a certain undefined element that is required for sequels. It's a continuation of the series, I guess they'd say! Though I'd be surprised if they didn't offer a new character.

Noice. I think nightwolf won one (and gave it to me).

Canto? :P Srslytho: I'd say the most generalisable term would just be act, but usually the author specifies it in the novel itself. If there's uncertainty then referring to "the first section" would work fine.

Dead Island was one of my favourite games of this generation (got 1250G!), but their trailers are ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, they're cinematic and cute little short stories but they bear pretty much no relation to the game mechanics or tone at all! They can just make the same game again but in a new location and I'd be happy with it. Their facebook page has some pictures too; All four are on-screen (yay for story continuation) so presumably these are cutscene shots if in-game at all.
-
Just trying to understand my own stance on what makes a game 'great' - I don't think a great game needs to be successul critically or monetarily, but they are good indicators, this I am [nitpicking,] questioning the 'need' bit. It's irrelevant now!
-
Fair enough - here's where we shake hands, tip our hats and meet again down the road, eh?

What previous powers have you had, and on what nights?

This is hurting my head. You're quoting me but not answering any of my questions. You're applauding yourself when I'm actually criticising your use of language. The argument, boiled down; - Pyxis is worried that the Wii U's hardware will be bested by the other consoles. Do you agree this is likely? - Wii U will have ports from 360/PS3 is this likely? - If/when the next generation of other consoles arrive, the Wii U will not be capable of running ported games. Could this be true? In regards to your tome of a reply; I seek that you recognise, understand, respect, and acknowledge the other side of the argument. It reads more like you are eager to quickly drown the opposing sentiment with hyperbole and tangents! i.e. Please answer direct questions. "Did you check the sources?" "no because checking all the sources is a lot of effort" -- This includes a short answer ("no") and an explanation. Your answer does not sound like a "no", but it is. Which is why I say you 'spin' your responses. Lastly; Do you think successful = great? If you would like me to do a play-by-play response to your lengthy post then I will - but it will take a while.

I've had an array of stupid interviews. One time my recruitment agency not only told me the wrong address but also told me the wrong date - I arrived a day late! Another time, the interviewer had clearly watched a lot of The Apprentice and took too much pleasure in his torturous methods ("What's your favourite book? Give me five reasons why it's better than your second favourite book. GO," didn't seem particularly relevant to the job). Another time I was still in the group interview stage and felt it was a waste of time so put my hand up and asked to leave. God, I'm not looking forward to all this. My heart goes out to you, Moogle, it really does.
