  1. Seriously?
  2. Does anyone have any more insight into the 'code' stuff? I know that the numbers themselves are not the code.
  3. Nice :P I got 3 threads hit front page in a week - unfortunately two were selfs so I only got 1k link karma but my inbox was relentless for 3 days. THREE DAYS. Every time I cleared my inbox there were MOAR. I've still yet to have a question answered on IAMA though - I'm always too late.
  4. Even if I was a betting man there's no way I'd bet for those results to occur in order for my promotion.
  5. Regarding MJ: I don't believe he did anything wrong. He was cleared of something like 14 counts of varying degrees of molestation/intent to molest. The witnesses against him had previously tried to sue him for large sums of money for an unrelated matter. The kid who accused him previously (and was bought off) revealed after MJ's death that it wasn't true. That kid's father shot himself. Sure, MJ had a weird childhood/adolescence, but that didn't make him a paedophile. It may seem hard to qualify when someone is ready for sex, which is allthemore reason to recognise the adult's role in these kinds of relationships, and why the law has to even step in and we can't just let people do what they like. The adult will know when the child is not ready, but the adult is in a position of knowledge that the child is not, and there's a legitimate worry that the adult could manipulate and take advantage of.
  6. What's the date? I was telling my cousin about N-E's previous Extra Life things. There's a fair amount of donations accepted as part of the culture in these hills so we were thinking about doing it ourselves (not that his Dad would like it. One bit.) And how strict were you about 24 hours - did you break for food or did you just eat convenient crap?
  7. They'll break the speed barrier with their fall. Thankfully I should've been asleep hours ago. I don't think I could watch the live stream; I'd be too terrified the guy catches fire or passes out and/or goes splat.
  8. Looks awesome. Kinda like an on-the-fly f-zero X track maker. Will you be able to save 'favourite' tracks? Obviously there'd be no manual Paver... Great concept though!
  9. What do you guys think about Wonga renaming the Newcastle stadium.... back to SJP? Seems like a bold/nice move, but it's still not the nicest of companies out there. Question is will the next sponsors change it again?
  10. Red card I think I can rightfully argue that it lost me the game. But considering I lost like 6-0 to Jimbob earlier this season perhaps a victory was never likely.
  11. Here in AUS it's currently about $50AUD for 3000 - which works out to be £30. It's not much but it's definitely not cheap. Comaparatively the On Demand games are actually quite reasonably priced (via the dash). New games retail for around $120AUD (£70ish!!) so it'd be interesting to see how prices alter. I'd imagine they would be marked up a few dollars. However if I didn't need to do The Great Faff each time I wanted to get points in order to get a game, then I'd probably purchase more and more often.
  12. Vote: Zell Happy to flo'!
  13. February 8th, 2002 for mee. Man, those names. Such a shame so many of the threads aren't archived there -- I feel really bad because some usernames are super familiar but I can't actually remember ANYTHING about the poster... Meroigo.. And lol @Charlie We all forgot your poetry didn't we? Who's Iona?
  14. I tried using the wayback machine but I can't get anywhere. What was the link you used for the forums?
  15. Oh man, I've just woken up and not paid attention to anything yet. zzz And to reiterate; the REMIXED number is probably still valid. Sighs. Too early, want bed.
  16. I can confirm the number rummy suggested [remixed from night 1] is not a pager number. @Rummy what did you do last night? @heroicjanitor you're a dealer?
  17. Oh man that's a good guess. I'm hoping it's not right :P
  18. To counter your latter points, @Emma; suppose Dan has to go to Brazil for 6 months. Do you break up? You know he'll be back eventually, so you work through it. What if you know he'll only be back for a month before shooting off for another 6 months? It'd be tricky, but doable. Not something to break up over, right? I think having that point to move towards really helps. I agree that having the relationship formed upon the distance means you're postponing a lot of tests and tribulations for a later date. But if one could choose, one should certainly opt for the more 'complete' relationship experience.
  19. That reminds me! I have this friend of a friend - Michelle - who has these great shoes. I mean, they look ridiculous, but I swear she jumped off our roof without a single injury! OOH OOH OOH I've always wanted a pair of those shoes with a weel in the heel. Bet they're called Wheels or something lame. Wait-- that's what wheels are called! Silly jayseven. Anyway, where can I get those and do they come with free lessons?
  20. Oh please tell me where you got these wonderful designer shoes from? My daughter and/or wife is pregnant and needs some sensible, yet practicle, yet stylish, yet financially safe shoes for our one-way trip to Mt. Doom. Know where I can get some?
  21. Just to say that I've been enjoying this round Well done Magnus!
  22. Reading this thread is like watching a train-wreck. I can't help but keep coming back to read more about how sucky the game is. If the game was a spin-off rather than a direct sequel then perhaps it could be forgiven, right? Steering clear of this one.
