Check the bottom of the first post, it has links for the accomodation last year (via old thread) and accomodation that is a maybe for this year. it depends on how many people -- if you can get 15 people guarenteed, then it can cost £13.50 a night for a 15-dorm. Strangely a 16-dorm is £13.99. large orange text, borrowed from bluey for mass attention! We need a list of people who are FOR CERTAIN staying two nights, in order for someone (probably me) to book the hostel. Last year someone let me down £50 because they didn't turn up. If we book for 15 people that's a total of £400, and if people say yes now, but no later, then someone's card is going to get charged for it. My card, probably. So let's have a brand new, wacky list of definites for two nights; jayseven Letty

Hope you're alright mate. "He who is down need not worry about a fall" I've had a couple of mates who've said that. It basically means they'll spend a year or two thinking. If you really want to go to the army then you just gotta go! lol -- I wasn't sure they'd been confirmed! Tricky as I'm not completely certain where i'll be, or even if I'll be booked with an exam or something. Manchester is the safest bet, and theoretically the one my ex-girlfriend won't be going to. If I can't find someone to go with, though, then I'll probably miss tix We had a pretty similar debate at uni, actually. Though the Realist(ic) students hated it. Lol! Do you see what I did there? Because Virginia Woolf was a modernist, rebelling against the realist movement! Massive lols!!!!!!or not Sorry.

It's not that girl friendly :P Definitely a boy's tv show buut it's gritty, real and very, very good TV. Odwin; of that list I'd return to Lost, because it's the least generic/predictable out of the lot of em, which is what you'll notice most after BSG probably.- 3920 replies

^What Jav says. You're going from one emotion to the other at mach 3 - no, lightspeed, brother; over 9000 degreeees... Yeah. TIME! Give it to her, give it to her goood. Time, that is, if you didn't get the semantics there. If you go from "best friend" to "we kissed, does it mean something?" to "best friend!" to "but what if there really is something here..?" in under a week, you'll just freak her out. This ain't no O.C. seagul-occupying love affair flying on a sky breeze! Or something. Shit, what did I put in that cigarette? Play it cool! Wind yourself in and stop panicking. If she likes you then she's not going to change her mind in a day or two unless you do something stupid. Like tell her any more of your feelings.

Xpert Eleven Season 8: Villan still a loser

I think Oddy will win again, but not with as many points, and I think there will be some fierce competition in the entire league. It's going to be exciting! -

New House was arbitrary. Not good. Currently watching Castle and I would say that it really is just another detective show. Like the speech at the beginning of the episode; what is it about a hard-boiled detective and a blonde femme-fatale and the cold stell of a gun that-- blah blah blah. What keeps us going is these things themselves, or at least how each specific show chooses to present their novel niche gimmick one-trick pony thingum. I'm currently watching Life, which has a lot of similarities to Castle, only it has nearly two seasons behind it. Life's gimmick is a detective that was in jail for twelve years!, cars, karma and fruit. I will be watching both of these shows as the weeks go on because, like House, the ~of the week episode is generally only fun for the first year and then you just stick with it for the character(s) and the odd gem of an episode. Castle promises to be perfectly adequate viewing, but not really cliffhanger/TV Of The Year material. Odwin! Have you seen The Wire? I know you weren't a fan of carnivale, which is a shame.- 3920 replies

Xpert Eleven Season 8: Villan still a loser
jayseven replied to Mr_Odwin's topic in General Chit Chat
Wow. 20 teams this season! Does that mean an extra promotion from last season, or one less relegation?ignoreignoreignore EDIT, for like the 199th time; But tellyn's not playing this year. I'm confused and curious, and that's rarely a good combination. -
I've been avoiding this thread as much as possible, but the above post made me look at the previous page a little... Half the time as RE4? That doth suck. That's like, 10 hours of play? I'm pretty sure Shorty was able to get through RE4 in, like, two hours. But then I think I can get through RE2 in one... Hopefully the co-op element and the Mercenaries (have I remembered that right?) stuff, I imagine, will be beefed up to RE4? Well in any case, my cope of the game (along with a shiny new red xbox :P) is on its way, probably arrive tomorrow or thursday!

I dunno :P sometimes injuries! Sometimes maybe a chance to see if any new players are any good, sometimes I guess just to see how you'd match up to a team that you don't normally get the chance to play. Got a friendly with Shorty that I actually expect to lose, only it's on friday so I'm hoping we get our game done before the league starts *runs off to set some tactics* -

I just gotta say, when your 'opinion' is merely the word 'shit' then you're practically begging for an argument.

To be fair, even with a comma it would still be just as unclear to some people who read the sentance. "unlike" would've cleared up any possible ambiguity.

Happy birthday dewds. I'd buy you a drink, but I think you both owe me a drink for some reason...

But if I'm sweating whilst climbing everest, or running a marathon, it's way better than just because I'm throwing three juggling balls about for 20 mins. The sweat itself isn't a problem, it's just the timing that gets to me :P Oh, I also got invited to go to Thailand for 5 weeks, at the cost of £700 inc. flights, accomodation and food. While I know this is a genuinely good offer, and probably an amount of money that would equate to less than what I'd spend if I stayed in england for the same amount of time... I'm just too scared to take my blind, deaf arse abroad and into the whims of people I do no understand.

Fishimon! What a predicament! Sleeping casually with a girl that is casually sleeping with other guys? Living with her next year, while she continues to be casual? Ok so you didn't say that last part, but surely that's a wonderment. I would personally find it hard to give such a girl very much of my personal self while I knew that she was, frankly, a bit of a whore. How can you justify investing your true form to a girl who treats herself so poorly? But you're not in an easy situation! She clearly loves attention, I am just worried that she isn't too fussed about where it comes from. If you hold no feelings for her but you think she has some for you, then you have no future situation to worry about; just be sure to let her know that you think she's a slut, and thank her for lending you her pussy for those nights before you ship her off to the next one. I kid! Kind of. I mean, you know she sleeps around and yet you think you might be leading her on? She is obviously extremely fragile about her self-confidence, so you need to be careful you don't contribute to her inevitable breakdown (in her mid-life years, probably). Start turning her down, before her sti's turn your penis permanently down. lol. I'm sorry, I'm drunk and I will no doubt regret this post in the morning. Fish I think you're a great guy and you do not deserve a girl who sleeps around, ok? You deserve someone who respects you and herself; someone who keeps herself only for you, not some project to fix because she can't be arsed to calm her libido long enough. AGAIN. I am drunk. Sorry. I think this has probably come across quite offensive. I don't mean it to! >_< Lol, very true! We are all indeed nuts, I just think girls have it that little bit easier, because in general they are in charge!

Went to the rival uni's juggle society. Realised I am seriously unfit. I was sweating in teh weirdest places. Disgusting. Ugly. Gtfo. Pub afterwards = meet weird gay guy who works in the circus for 8 months of the year (I saw him at Zippo's circus in brighton 3 years ago) who sucks his own cock and likes good horror movies. His "wife", who I had actually met before, kept on telling me about "this guy that is interested in her" (despite teh fact that I wasn't interested in her) and the joys of being a barmaid. Lots of good conversation and a genuine feeling that I had made some new friends. Made some decisions re: uni today, and had a lengthy chat with nami about allsorts. Mostly the recognition of other people as 'people'. Gonna watch the new House along with arrested development and Breaking bad then fall asleep content with my life and with plans to get fitter and less sweaty. Indeeed. That was... the only time I ever mentioned lolcats all day :| Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! Rumbled! How the fuck does tobacco get intot eh rumble motors, though? Still, I accept full responsibility.
