    I do love a good DVD of a TV show which actually does that, but some shows TRICK you - I think Scrubs might be one of them, where you think you've skipped past the intro but actually you've also missed a couple of minutes after the intro. It may have been x-files... Hard to remember. Also, why are HBO always so skimpy with their extras? Two episodes per disk? Annoying episode summaries that jump at you while you're searching for the "play episode" button? An average of two commentaries per season? Retail prices usually exceeding £40? Pshaw!

    agreed on the intro thing. I always cover my eyes! NEW BREAKING BAD TODAY! Woot :P P.S. I've decided, based on nothing at all, to be That Cool Guy That Watches Stuff First and watch Eastbound and Down - it's an HBO comedy about a washed-out baseball pitcher, now a PE teacher, living with his brother's family. Will report back.

    Lots of lumberjacks use ear protection, so I've never really thought of anyone 'hearing' the tree fall over as a problem. But the pope, on the other hand...

    Dollhouse; progressively better, but still got a way to go before my head blown off my face. Sarah Connor; I haven't actually finished the episode yet. Halfway through - glad we got another Cameron episode, but kinda sick of the supporting cast and their whining. Life is a great time-filler of a show. It's got a story to tell and it's taking its sweet time about it -- which is fine by me.

    That's just a useless question, though. Why do we deserve to exist? You've gone from calling a man a psycho for killing millions of people to questioning our right to be alive anyway! We deserve to exist because we smarted our way here, via the school of evolution. Blurg.

    Right. No matter what path you pick, you're forgoing the other options. There is no right path, there is no wrong path - just path :P It's the mentality that you carry that shapes and/or defines that choice. External factors affect the mind only because the mind allows it. The path is irrelevant. You only get one journey.

    So it's about mentally thinking "this is a good path, because it has to be"? That in the end, it doesn't matter what path you take (or everybody takes), just that you have the positive mentality to believe it is the best path. The path least walked is the path least explored. Which one?

    How does a map define positive or negative? I don't rate my paths just in terms of elevation, you know.

    I draw attention to the part where I said I made the prediction before watching the episode. I now feel silly.

    I kind of agree, but! No amount of preparation can ready you for the reality of the walk. You can spend £200 on a pair of hiking boots, practice tying knots and making make-shift tents just in case you get lost and take an extra pair of socks with you but you can't guarentee you'll need anything that you carry, or that everything you carry is all that you need. So can you blame yourself for having picked the wrong path, if you did not know whether it was a positive path or not in the first place?

    New Ep is downloaded and I HAVE A PREDICTION! By the end of the season, Galactica will be controlled by Anders. Like, they'll hook up his brain to the cyborg ship that galactica'll be after all that weird shit's been spread all over its innards. Which will be epic and deem a possible movie in two years time. OOH! OR! All humans die. That would be a real epic.
