    Shorty; it didn't affect the regular maps at all. Well what you guys are saying makes me think I'll save my dosh and just avoid the maps... Just prestiged for teh 3rd time - level 26 currently, working on the FAMAS... or, er, the FAL. I seriously have forgotten which. Second top on the assault rifles. Getting headshots a lot easier with this than the SCAR, and I'll probably just work on marathon/hardline/commando this time round. Strangely I've still not truly gotten bored of the game. Certainly pissed off, but the fact that every game has some sort of 'epic' moment in it makes it very hard to put down!

    I've found that, generally, no matter the institution, people tend to be dissapointed by how educational uni truly is. I've never felt any sort of revolutionary introduction to a secret level of knowledge like I expected... I thought this would happen :P It's such a guy thing to think any girl that shows any interest MUST want sex and not just friendship. I personally blame the movies/tv where any situation with a girl/guy hooking up to hang out inevitably ends up with them getting it on.

    Locke's dead so he isn't going to replace MiB. I've started to think that the MiB is actually the 'good' guy. Sawyer's clearly the best choice to take his role tbh. Sayid's the most interesting character at the moment, mind you. And Hurley - is his name still on the list? I sure hope not. He's just there because fat people are funny tbh.

    Not properly been on here for a fair few days. Ex came to stay. Now she's gone. Nothing to report. Yeah my work's tried to pretend that it's them who are 'considering' giving us a pay rise... fuckers. YOU ARE A TOOL. What the FUCK are you doing working FREE overtime? Seriously? SERIOUSLY ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION. I really, really wanted to offer some good, solid words of advice but my brain is dead from being up too late and too drunk so I'll just leave these useless words and hope it works out for you Lies. They're shit.

    I agree with dan - this was the most interesting episode yet. ... But I've firmly decided that I hate the show, and hate how it ruins everything BoB set out to achieve. Yes, I am in that camp of whiners even though I'll be watching this entire series as it airs. BoB had such a grand, beautiful premise of re-educating us about the war and promising not to dress it up in pretty story-telling, but Pacific just stinks of franchise and american arse-kissing, and lacks that certain class that clearly BoB owed the BBC's involvement... Ok so I can't believe I'm saying all this myself.

    ... My report was my best ever! A +9 visible change with absolutely no reductions! My keeper madly jumped two skill - well deserved, though. Next season the form/match experience stuff changes doesn't it? Must brush up on that. *shakes a terror wrist at Odwin for stealing his name :P*

    - Played Pool with three mates - Won and lost in equal measure - Ex's mother called me to 'prepare' me for her visit - Pub quiz tomorrow, and if the weather's good then a picnic too - Need to tidy room/house before her visit, but here I am with lots of cider left, planning to stay up and watch looaads of Bones. But this works out well - if I get very little sleep tonight then I'll go to bed at, for her, a reasonable time tomorrow. - Also need to send off the finance form to get it all DONE! If I get a full loan then I can definitely go to the n-e summer meet, basically. - Have sex with me.

    Where are you at with Fringe? I found s02 to be quite strong in general, but I've let season 3 slip a fair bit.

    Mulligatawny is a great word. - Sister is pregnant. I'm going to be an uncle! - (ex-?)gf is coming to stay on monday - Council tax rebate is possible - a nice £400ish amount ... I'm sure I do more with my life but that seems to sum it up. I'm feeling mega psyched for my sister, and surprisingly 'giddy' about some new blood in the family. My ex coming to stay should be good, though I suppose I'll mostly be performing a supervisory role, what with all her... stuff. I've come to realise that while I think of myself as a shit person, and while I think I never do anything, I actually sacrifice a lot of my time and effort in order to ensure someone else's happiness, and I know that I should be proud of it. It's just that when her condition is so severe and, for her, embarassing, I can't really go round proclaiming my awesomeness... While my typical day can still be summed up with MW2/Cider/Bones, there is still more to me than this that words cannot convey, and for that I am somewhat happy...

    Ok. I think I've found something -- I'm trying to be a better cook. I can do casseroles, stews, pastanything, risottos... next I want to do a curry from scratch. I want to avoid using curry paste but then I need cumin and... stuff... and I just spent £10 on herbs and spices so I may just make do with making a decent chili.

    Aah! Well that's an end to an atrocious season for me! I can't even see myself dominating the lower league next year. Congrats to shorty on surviving! I've got to hope for my best change report yet, but my strikers all have average forms of less than 7 as far as I can see, so I'll probably be better off just sacking them all and finding a new one!

    I think the superadmins have rescued all the missing posts Memories started coming back to me so I managed to do Pelagic fairly speedily straight away. I'm lucky if I get to play this even one a day at the moment :'( Still think the game hasn't aged THAT badly! I keep pressing in the thumbstick to 'sprint', and half-expect a meleé attack with every weapon...

    I'm really struggling to love this show as much as I do BoB... PERHAPS it's just because some scenes are ridicudark and I have no idea what's going on. The first episode reminded me of the film screening in Inglorious Basterds, and for some reason I was thinking about the book King Rat for most of this one. I have no doubt I'll be watching this every week though. It's certainly not bad tv and is very gripping!

    Damn my lovely long post went missing in the limbo! I have trouble remembering a lot of the missions, especially on perfect agent where I obv. didn't spent a great deal of time playing the game. I tend to sit and read the objectives and try and remember... but I've arrived at the point of teh game taht I remember frequently getting confused as the levels get bigger - the air force one crash site, the... pelagus? boat level, etc. Might not be able to 'speed run' through these as I have previously. Once I'm done with the game I'll be going back and thrashing all your times :P There are a few things that annoy me - where do you see the cheat list in the game? How can you find out the target times, etc? why can't you access solo missions from any computer in the CI!! What are these crowns? I've forgotten where all the cheese is!     Looks like the forum's reboot has deleted my entire shit day yesterday! Today I've been campaigning to get my housemate elected for a full-time paid job at the student union. We've got 4 of us wearing t-shirts I DESIGNED walking around, 50 of the posters I DESIGNED all over the place and a couple of awesome signs WHICH I DREWKINDA which have been called 'scary'. I also popped over to the job centre to Sort Shit Out. They gave me a phone number, the phone number said "ha, no. You can't have any money" so I went to the finance office to get an envelope to send off the latest form, and I FOUND OUT that I CAN APPLY FOR FULL TIME STUDENT FINDING! I was initially told, back in august, I'd have to finance myself, then I was told I could get a part-time grant to cover fees but I'd have to work to live... NOW I've been told that I can apply for the maintenance loan of £2000+ as well as the bursary. These things mean that my bills will be covered, my rent in arrears as well as the rent 'til the end of the contract. AND the sum means I'll be able to clear a chunk of my overdraft as well. This is such a contrast to my yesterday, which 'ended' at about 5am passing out after an allergic reaction, afraid of falling asleep in case my throat closed and I'd never wake up. Not even home yet - still at uni with Doug campaigning - I had teh genius idea of dropping in on the society meetings tonight, as his role is to do with them, so we've done DRAMA and now we're doing LGBT. Waddanight. When I get home it's reheating the beef pasta bake which may/may not have been the source of my reaction. I guess i'll find out!
