    No, the bomb changed things from the moment it went off -- 1972 or whatever year it was, and because we had Jacob 'touching' a lot of people's lives 'originally', the 'altered' reality will have a fair few potential, if tenuous, differences! Hurley thinking that he's 'the luckiest guy in the world' for one thing, Jack having a kid is another, the potential Sun/Jin not-being-married is also there... Really it's another chance for them to do pretty much anything with the show and thus make the ultimate ending absolutely unpredictable until very late. A comment someone made was that the 'alternate' reality isn't necessarily 'alternate', suggesting that there could be all sorts of mindfuckery ahead. Thinking back to the 'alternate' plane crash turbulance scene, Charlie saying "you should've let me die" potentially interests me the most, but considering he's not on the island anymore, clearly is no longer a 'candidate' I guess we won't really see much more of him.

    Too early to say, so I'll say 'maybe' and then we'll all watch this thread disappear until june, when we all panic about how soon it is and how nobody has arranged any place to stay, some people (me) get annoyed because other people keep asking the same questions over and over and don't bother just reading the thread to find out, we disagree on precisely where to meet, we all come up with a zillion awesome things that we have to do, half the people who said yes 4 months earlier (i.e. 'now') can't now make it, the northerners complain about london being too far for their horse and cart to get to, the rest of the world's members mumble quietly about maybe having their own one in any one of a various array of international cities next year, and people nobody cares about post to say sorry, but they can't make it this year. This thread should be more epic. You just made this thread so that you'd be the one who made it! Bad ReZ.

    Shitforbrains. Forgot to set my tactics 'til about ten past twelve and rushed 'em. SIck of (narrowly) having better possession and more chances and losing. My team just can't play away from home. Hate how an x11 loss can genuinely upset my day! Will have to avoid/ignore the game for a few days. Bah.

    A three year course still has a 'first year' ungraded general getting-used-to-life where you live in halls and everything. Some universities offer I-forget-what-they-call-them preliminary and general-topic-covering year before the proper 3-year course begins - but these are usually for students who didn't quite get the grades the university requested they get in order to simply start the proper course, but the uni is still willing to accept the student (and their thousands of pounds). FOUNDATION! That's the word. Does that make sense? You still get this 'first year'. If you don't want to go to london then... don't? As for the portfolio - don't freak yourself out. The uni isn't expecting students to have a back-catalogue the size of spielberg's, they will just want to see some examples of what you know so far to see if you're at the right stage to begin the course.     I like using my heartbeat sensor! But really you should be very flexible with your guns and classes, as not only is there a need for different tactics for different maps, but the very nature of the online game demands you be alert to how your opposition is playing. Wasteland is a great map to have a grenade launcher attachment/scavenger/danger close match, with no real need for heartbeat sensor - even sniping with a thermal sight is a good call here. I prefer to use a sensor on Highrise as there are a few naughty little hiding places. The noob tube is always a worthy attachment when you're... well, a noob. Claymores can be good fun and highrise is a good place to use them as it's small and guarenteed, so long as it's hidden well enough, to get a kill - and it's always real fun to see the +100 pop randomly. I'd say the most useless perk is the SitRep one, and it's a bitch to complete the challenge for it. Final stand is pretty sucky too.

    I think 'exploition' has been massively hijacked here. In an 'ideal' society sex is realised for what it is -- a simple physical act that should have no bearing on psychological well-being. And it is in that which we should find ourselves equal -- our mental state. That you have sex with a person or an object... why should it matter at all? If you tread away from the biological imperitives of reproduction, which, essentially, homosexuality does, then why try to distinguish it from sex with lamposts? Aside from the sexual side of things, there is an argument, or discussion, or whatever. When love, or some form of companionship are involved, then it is interesting. More later maybe etc etc lol.

    So I grew up having rubbish parent-cuts-fringe hair, got mushroom cuts and everything, then at some point I dyed my hair blue, then a mixture of colours. The bleach lasted ages, and my 'trademark' sweep emo curl fringe thing came into being... ... Which grew out after a year of ill attention... And led to a montage of various cuts/bleaches/dyes/growths that I have surprisingly little record of. I can't seem to find a pic of my green hair, for example, so here's a little anthology, according to facebook. I've not had the same haircut twice since I was 17... (the next picture is taken mid-allergy reaction!) (Next picture has DomCJ in the background, or whatever his name is/was) This thread is nice because it's allowed me to remind myself just how much stuff I've actually done in the last few years Also, I think my facial hair is a factor in my picture choices!

    I wasn't very happy after tuesday's result at all. My team hates playing away. Better that I won this one but annoyed at the difference in winning margins.
