Well seeing as you've already subconsciously listed them in order of preference... I was going to recommend Super Mario Sunshine (Wahoo!) anyway as it is absolutely essential, especially if you've forgotten most of it as I hear that it's a fantastic title to revisit and so Isle Delphino should definitely be your first port of call this summer season; perfect timing really. : peace: Definitely give Wario World a go though, I have that in my collection too because I like collecting games made by Treasure but weirdly I've never even played it myself... so let me know when you're going to start that and I may consider playing through it at the same time to see what all the fuss was about. StarFox Adventures I think it's OK to leave until last although it is a very underrated game in my eyes, perhaps Rare's last long lost classic? The company is certainly a show of its former self these days in any case. Good choices though and it's so nice to see some more love for the Gamecube, the console that just keeps on giving.

I've always thought that this was simply the eShop updating after you've either made a purchase or viewed something, there seems to be a little spinning circle of circles icon when the page is loading and it doesn't let you use the home button until it's finished, yes it is a little bit annoying but it's not too bad. : peace:

In for the Beta, in for the carnage, can't wait! : peace:

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (30th Oct)
S.C.G replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I so want this game! That is all. : peace: -
Indeed, if that's all the enemies do on the default difficulty then I'll be ramping it up to the hardest setting straight away.

I must admit, some of the conversations we've had on MH3U we're fantastic, so the more games that have voice chat included, the better. : peace: This game really does need it as an option though for friends as the very least, in fact any game with at least an ounce of coordination does, Capcom realises this so I wonder why doesn't Nintendo? There should really be no excuses where talking to people you know is concerned, we've had first-party games that support it on the Wii and DS before so...

^ Only £130... That's almost the price of a Wii U.

I know, it's a pretty crazy situation. At least the VC releases seem to be picking up a bit I suppose and now it's only just over eight weeks until the next actual, genuine big retail release - Hyrule Warriors - which has a good chance of drawing sales. But Wii Sports Club? If it had been released for £20 or less, maybe even added to the Mario Kart 8 promotion could have helped in some way but as it stands? Another case of a game released far too late, even digitally.

Hype for this game still at a steady level. Though I have to wonder... have we seen all the playable characters yet? If not then I'm wondering if we will indeed get some more characters from other era's of Zelda or if they'll just save it for another game. Either way there's huge potential for revenue here so you've got to wonder.

My exact reaction to this as well... Rayman? A Ubisoft character... in a Nintendo game... But not just ANY Nintendo game, no... it looks like he's in Super Smash Bros?!? At a time when relations between the two companies are not exactly stellar, or so we thought? This must have been on the cards for a while even if he does turn out to be just a trophy. Still though... I don't know what to think any more.

Being that I haven't had much time over the past couple of days and that I'm reviewing both this AND Pop 'n Twinbee this week; I have only got this far... You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse Having said that I have played it before but I will be continuing with this play-through as I get the time. : peace: Really enjoying playing it all over again though as it had certainly been a while.

I hope that the developers are Tekken their time with this one... ...seriously though, this had better turn out better than Tekken 6 did.
-
Oh I don't personally... What I meant to say is that while I have the action on-screen with all of the information relegated to the gamepad set up on its stand in front of me, I then opt to play exclusively with the pro controller; it's a pretty decent setup. : peace:

It really is a great shame that this won't come to the Wii U immediately if at all. After playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate again recently, it's so clear to me that everything about that game was a perfect fit for the Wii U especially as it let you play the way that you wanted to be that on the TV or the gamepad or both by letting you decide what HUD elements go where; personally I go for completely HUD-free with all of the info on the gamepad and it's just brilliant. : peace: So why Capcom won't be making a Wii U version of MH4G especially seeing as we are getting it that much later is beyond me. I know that it has probably been explained to me before... but still there's a niggling feeling every time I watch a trailer for this I think 'wow this is amazing!' and then realising it's 3DS only, I can't help but feel let down a bit. Clearly I will still be picking this up in whichever form - possibly multiple - when it arrives as I have no doubts that it will deliver but if Capcom aren't even going to consider brining it to the Wii U as well within 6 months of the 3DS version coming out with some form of cross compatibility then I can't help but feel that it's them who are missing out on free sales as I know that from many of us it would be a guaranteed purchase. Ultimately though if they do bring it out later on with no way of transferring your character then that would kill the experience a bit more for me because then I'd almost certainly just be 'jumping ship' between versions but if we do get a home console port with full transfer capability later down the line then I'll certainly be grateful; indeed I am still thankful for the series existing on Nintendo platforms - not wanting to get into the 'which home console would be better for MH' debate - so I'll still be supporting it. : peace: Still though... it could have been a brand new third party game for the Wii U as well, those are something of a rarity these days.
-
Providing the costumes look as good as they do in the promotional shots or hopefully even better in-game then no, I'd say that's perfectly acceptable. : peace: Though there should be a special edition which gives you all of the costumes for a decent price or just a mass reduction if you buy them all... even if they kind of should be in the game from the start... but then again, future costumes may come out plus possible future characters unless they save those for a sequel - providing this does well - so I'd say it's fine to buy the dlc so long as there isn't too much of it at too high a price.

Ah Nintendo... why oh why must you wait until so late into the day to update the eShop on a Thursday? I totally would have played the hell out of this before work had it been available. Oh well, I guess I'll be having a quick go on it later just before Mario Kart League. : peace:

Those images look glorious. Almost makes you wonder how good Skyward Sword could look if they decided to do a HD remake, except that game would need a bit more than a lick of paint to fix its issues but I digress as it was still a good game. This though... genuinely hyped for it! : peace: Oh my! And I've only just seen the Ball & Chain plus 'dat HD pillar!' after that edit, so awesome!

Hell yeah I'll be posting, I'll be reviewing the game for VC Weekly #300 so I'll be talking about it plenty. : peace: Regarding getting download codes though... we'd be lucky to get one let alone loads. As I previously mentioned Nintendo seem to be rather sporadic in giving out codes as often it can be some for a few weeks running and then nothing for months. Either way I'll be downloading this the moment it becomes available no matter if it's a free review code or if I have to pay £4.49 for it.
-
I wonder if Nintendo will be kind enough to send us a download code for this one, like they seem to do once in a blue moon when it's a significant release. Not that I'm fussed either way. : peace:
-
Hmm makes you wonder though... for those who own the original game which these are merely originally components of, do you think we'll just get a free software update?
-
Add in an online mode and I'll be sold.
-
That's only £30 more than a Wii U, I'd definitely go for it.
-
Yesssssss! I'd hoped for there to at least be one landmark title available but two? Looks like VC Weekly #300 is going to be a substantial celebration. : peace:
-
That's a shame, if they were going to rip it off they could have at least done it right I suppose, what's so bad about it specifically? I'm interested as I was wondering if it was worth playing even briefly to get the trophies for it in the definitive edition.

From an April Fools three years ago on the Sega Blog apparently, shame because I sort of want them to make a game in that style now. http://blogs.sega.com/2011/04/01/announcing-super-monkey-cube/
