Onimusha: Warlords for Nintendo Switch Yes please Capcom, but have a think about releasing it physically for all regions and across all formats. (Got to think of videogame preservation afterall)
-
Awesome news! Just posting about it now but... Step into a feudal world filled with magic, samurais, and demon warriors, as Onimusha: Warlords comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on January 15, 2019. Originally released in 2001, Onimusha: Warlords successfully blended thrilling action with a cinematic story to achieve over 2 million copies sold worldwide. Now Capcom brings the original sword fighting action title to current video game systems with updated features including high-definition graphics, widescreen display option, analog stick support, a readily available Easy Mode option, and new soundtrack. The game will be available as a digital purchase across North America and Europe for MSRP $19.99 on all formats with a physical release in North America available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Onimusha: Warlords follows the battle-filled journey of samurai Samanosuke Akechi and ninja Kaede on a quest to save Princess Yuki from a legion of mysterious demons who have invaded Inabayama Castle. As the two travel throughout the castle, they unravel a malevolent plot by those who would serve the evil lord Nobunaga Oda. Using sword-based combat, a magical Oni Gauntlet and puzzle solving, players need to call on both brawn and creativity to defeat the demonic foes. Capcom... come on now, physical release for Europe on ALL formats including Switch please. There is no excuse for it, don't leave all of that lovely money there on the table.

Nearly there though at least, but the wait must be agonising. That is pretty cruel of Nintendo, I hope that download instantly goes to 100% as soon as it hits midnight, otherwise that is really unfair. I doubt that we'll get to play online tonight if you've only just got the game installed/playable by midnight, I'll be around until about 01:15am as that's just when the router goes off. If you are wanting to play online though, please do make a hub and I'll gladly join you of course but otherwise, I hope you at least get to enjoy playing the game locally. And I'm pretty sure we'll get to play online tomorrow at some point I hope?

Salt & Sanctuary Review written by Anil Parmar Thank you to @Goron_3 for writing an excellent review for the site. I really want to play this title, but I also want the "Drowned Tome" physical edition when it eventually releases. Ah well, looks like it will be worth the wait.

Yeah, that USB keyboard support is a godsend, I just took the keyboard from my PC, plugged it in and it worked! (got it plugged in again now but on the front of my PC and I've put a USB breakaway cable into my Switch dock as I know I'm going to be swapping it out frequently) I found that press "Enter" on the keyboard will bring up the chat window (or it does on mine) so no minus button needed, you just type as normal then. But yes, an absolutely stellar first early Bank Holiday Monday hunting session there @RedShell I really enjoyed our hunts a lot, I captured some clips and screenshots too. (nothing quite like those beautiful moments you just captured in the post above though) We just breezed past that Urgent quest between us, no joke... that hunt took me three failed (but almost completed) runs yesterday... and we blitzed it in 10 mins? Quite a nice mix of quests on G Rank... well, when I figured out which NPC to talk to in order to get to it (I'm clearly not used to the new pub area yet) Those two Kecha Wacha were like a tag-team of fighters until we split them up... and then split them up again... into pieces! And thank you for the hunts, I really do appreciate you taking some time away from Yakuza as I know that's another series which means a lot to you and it will do to me, in time. Cheers, my fellow hunter and comrade, it has been too long.

I've made a hub, in the pub Hunter's Hub ID 29-9875-2648-0400 Pass 4444 Oh hi... you're already here!
-
Glad to hear that you're enjoying it. I put in about 12 hours of hunting yesterday overall, so I've just been doing a bit of sorting out for a bit but I can hunt pretty much any time now aside from when it's time for Dinner. What would be the best time for you to get some hunts in? Best times for me would probably be... 4PM - 6PM and then 7PM until 11PM? (or later depending on how long you want to hunt for) Either way, let me know amigo and we'll go and butcher some Astalos. Loving the new avatar as well.
-
Sounds good to me! I should be free all day tomorrow, so hopefully we can get a few hunts in. Sadly there is no arm wrestling barrel that I can see but the Hunter's Pub has everything else you could possibly want and more. New Hunter's Hub ID 44-9726-6733-7657

Well, just in case anyone else has the game... Hunters Hub ID 22-3038-2993-2829 Password the "usual one" (although it is set to no password if you're on my friends list) Loving the new Hunter's Pub area.

Annnnd I'm all transferred over to MHGU! It's a bit daunting, but it works, not everything transfers, mostly just all of your stuff, your HR level caps out at 8 and all of the quests you've beaten. Obviously your guild cards vanish as well, you get a small item bonus if you had Monster Hunter Stories data on your 3DS (or just the demo) and that's about it. Oh yeah and your timer starts from zero again so, I'm going to start putting some hours on the clock.
-
ShopTo I cancelled my Nintendo Store order when I realised I already had it pre-ordered for cheaper. I am transferring over, so that's at least a hundred odd hours of progress. Thankfully I started grinding through a fair amount of those single player quests a month or two ago, still got a few to go though. Yes, customising the shout-outs would be a good idea, I was kind of hoping that voice chat might have just "worked" with this version, like on MH3U on the Wii U but nevermind. Using the shortcuts and text chat can be fun in its own way, the best shortcut which would apply to Nintendo regarding getting voice chat to work though would have to be... "At least you tried!"

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate... get! I hope everyone elses copy arrives too.
-
I'm hoping that by the time I finish Yakuza 0 and Kiwami, that Kiwami 2 will finally be available in a standard PS4 box as opposed to the (albeit lovely) steelbook.
-
You are correct, this is the current path I'm following as well, starting with Zero, then onto Kiwami, Kiwami 2 and then hopefully later on we'll get those re-releases of Yakuza 3, 4 & 5 so that everyone can get caught up so that they can then play Yakuza 6. I'm currently only a few hours into Zero so let us know when you start playing it, I may get back on the Yakuza train sooner than planned inbetween playing Monster Hunter.
-
I'd buy it but... I want to get that physical release, so it looks like it'll be a 2019 game for me.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe League 2018 (Final results now in)

Just about to watch this myself but I thought I'd waste no time in posting it seeing as Mark Brown's videos are consistently interesting and well produced.
-
It is indeed a nice OS. I don't drive either, I've had lessons in the past and you're right, that driving analogy really doesn't make much sense at all. Perhaps they were trying to say that... "using the OS is instinctive; first players understand what's on screen, take action, then wait for result" To me, just changing those two words makes more sense... I think. Either way, I've never had a problem with the Nintendo Switch OS (except for choosing what to play) but I've had numerous problems trying to drive. In conclusion... the Nintendo Switch is definitely easier to use than a car.
-
Gunlord X is coming to the Switch.
-
Is the Steam version... good? Probably a stupid question but I don't know... there could be something wrong with it so I was just curious.
-
N-E's quick info roundup, thanks again to @Mr-Paul for the press release.
-
Well, that's me cancelling another pre-order then. I guess I'll just wait for the "Ultimate" version when it finally gets released on disc with the full character roster a year later. I saw that awesome trailer earlier and it just left me thinking... "Oh cool, Soul Calibur is back in style! What's the catch?" and here it is. Scratch that... I have Soul Calibur II on the GameCube (the best version) and it looks great with a HDMI adapter, so I'm not too worried in the meantime.
-
I don't want to even watch that trailer, I can't bring myself to. I feel bad for Housemarque... obviously I hope the game does well for the sake of the studio but at the same time I have zero interest in it.
-
Excellent news! (Also, I found a cleaner version of just the trailer, no cut-off at the end) Beautiful... just beautiful. A real "chills down the back of the spine" trailer there, especially from the music. So, a year away then? Excellent, that should give me time to finish Shenmue I&II again.
