Hmm, I sold my original copy of the Wind Waker because I assumed... as should be the case... that we'll be getting Gamecube games on the Virtual Console*; well that and I haven't played it since it came out. But I always looked at the re-release as the time when I would play through the game again and for it to feel fresh. Due to this HD remake however, do you think they'll even bother putting the original version on the Virtual Console? *I probably shouldn't have relied on Nintendo to do this, having still not heard any mention of it. Only Nintendo!

The more Cobie the better!

Thor, Captain America, Iron Man... until 5 years ago these weren't superhero's known by the mass public either, before Marvel took the chance and successfully made them established characters.

How does everyone feel about the McLaren line up this year? Excited to see Perez? Was he the right guy for McLaren? Looking forward to seeing Jenson step up? Do you think he can? Or an underwhelming year/line up for McLaren?

From what I can remember I much preferred the Bosses throughout Skyward Sword than Twilight Princess. I felt the only thing that ruined The Imprisoned boss battle was the imposed time limit making it more stressful than otherwise. It was actually quite fun otherwise I thought bringing him down, sailing up and landing on his head, or getting catapulted on to him etc... All the Boss arena's were fun, the hill you fought the spider Scaldera on, the sandpit for the scorpion Moldarach. Koloctus was a genuinely brilliant use of motion controls! And my favourite was probably the one against Levias/Bilocyte, because of it's epic scale and glorious cutscenes etc... Whilst the swordfights against Ghirahim could be frustrating at times, I really enjoyed the arena of the final fight on the floating platforms, and on the whole Ghirahim's character/personality throughout the game made the fights quite enjoyable because you were gradually wearing Ghirahim down and becoming the stronger man/hero as the game progressed until you finally defeating him once and for all. Enter Demise... which was visually stunning and felt quite epic, but the whole thing/character was over too quickly to leave any real impression.

Actually even though I'm quite bored of Mario at the moment, I have to say one of the best bosses of recent games has been... The approach is fantastic and atmospheric, felt more like you were off to fight Ganondorf! :p There's some great Mario humour, and the final battle was actually something new, creative, highly enjoyable, and even offered a bit of a challenge! Actually yeah those types of boss battles are the worst whatever the game.

Must get around to doing so one time!

In what respect? There are what, 3-4 superhero films released in total per year maybe, whether they be from Marvel, Warner Bros, Sony, 20th Century Fox. Far, far more films get released these days per week/month than they have done in the past. I'd say the choice was greater than ever!

You're just shit! I agree that often boss battle aren't overly fun, or add a bit of unnecessary stress or frustration to a game, but damn are there some great ones out there! Some boss battle can be fun or straight up cool and often it's the incredible intro's they have that make them great and memorable! Zelda has some incredible bosses, as do the Resident Evil games, especially Resi 4!! How about Diddy Kong Racing's! Some of my favs include... Thaw him out and let the chase begin! Often it's the slightly less difficult ones that you get to enjoy more Intense and a real challenge yes, but too cool!

Great observations! didn't notice the shirt colour change, prefer the green. Though you can see that Links nose is visible in the shade of this screen for example. Whilst I agree with you that Link's eyebrows should ideally be brought to the front, the problem they have now is with the depth they've now put on his hair. In the mock-up image you've posted it looks kind of jarring having a flat 2D eyebrow on top of a bouncy 3D fringe.

We have our first two characters!

Because it's easy to forget what's already been said about the game...

Standard Edition is now sold out on Zavvi/The Hut, and the Collectors Edition seems to be on Amazon and Shopto. So decided to put a Pre-Order in with that £30.99 Tesco offer.

GT Invisible Walls talk Ni No Kuni (first part of second half of the episode) http://www.gametrailers.com/full-episodes/vkqu73/invisible-walls-invisible-walls-239--thq-rip There aren't any spoilers btw. As someone who doesn't really play RPG's, they're really, really selling the game to me!!

In reality what does 500MB of data do for you?... checking emails and twitter/facebook, visiting website etc...? even then would you have to be careful not to go over it or?

F1's tough like that! I went through it during 2010 and 2011, thankfully Kimi came back... but I found that I did need a driver to back to fully enjoy the sport. Made me think it must be so much easier if you're a team supporter! Lewis somewhat turned out to be that driver for me during 10/11... well more 2011, 2010 was a tough watch! --- UPDATE:

It was images like this that made it seem like woodlands, hillocks, grasslands and maybe even mountains etc... were integrated... Little did we know (although you can it see it with hindsight), that such copses and hills were raised out of reach. You naturally assumed that you could wander/ride into and through such a woodland... ... and out the other side. This time however, there are the capabilities to turn this into a Skyrim sized Hyrule ripe for exploration! Or at least there should be/no excuses! BRING IT!! -
Good man!! :awesome:

@CoolFunkMan do you have a favourite team/driver? Can't believe the cars launch next week!! Although as I've learnt from previous years they're very much 'show cars'... but still the first test is only the following week!!

Yeah Faux leather cover and gilded gold edges. However the fact it was limited to only 4000 copies worldwide was the biggest draw for me, a proper Zelda collectors item.

Yeah but you came to Ocarina of Time late on didn't you? In that regard I feel the same about A Link To The Past, because that's a game I still haven't played, but don't really feel compelled to because it's very similar in structure to Ocarina of Time/Twilight Princess. I feel like I don't want to play another Zelda going through the same old temple order etc... If I came to Ocarina of Time after all the others, I'd probably feel it was basic/the same old Zelda too, but as your first Zelda (in my case) there was nothing better [at the time!]!! -
I don't think the Limited Edition is out until mid-late February; at least that was Amazons guide.
